SPOT on! I followed your suggestion to the T and it was fixed! The air idle adjustment was difficult but I had a right angle driver adapter and a long flat head bit which made adjustment a breeze so I suggest that y'all get one for your toolbox since it will come handy for other uses anyway.
I don’t think I’m getting enough fuel. Pulled the jets out and cleaned everything good but still the same. On the E50 how important is a fully charged battery? How many turns on the fuel mixture for the 2006 ttr 50 ?
My carburetor is missing one pipe. 1:01 the pipe on the left is missing and I have another one to put on but I just don't know where it connects to. Can someone help? 😔
What kind upgrades ya looking for? I'm a dealer for a lot of nice stuff, or TBolt USA is an amazing place to find everything you need for these pitbikes.
I had to turn mine out about 4 turns just to get the idle adjustment to respond does that mean anything or is it just cause I may be at different elevation? I’m at 4,500 above sea level
I have. 2010 Yamaha 125 just like that and the carb is brand new when I first start it is normal idle then after a few minutes it idles up high and shuts off please help
I have a 2002 ttr 125 and the throttle cable is broke so first off do I need to tear the carb apart to change it or just un screw it from the top? Also this maybe caused by the broken cable? But the idle is high like way high it runs good first kick stock carb just need some help
Great video, helped me a lot! I just want to ask what did you use to turn the air/fuel screw? I can't fit a flat head screw driver underneath my carburetor, and I don't want to remove the whole carb for just 1 screw. I have the XTZ 125E, same engine and carb.

I have learned by mistake! I turned air screw all the way in and couldn’t figure out what’s wrong with a bike and fixed the problem with new carburetor. Of Amazon!!! lol
Great informational vid. There's so much crap on youtube that is wrong. I think you killed this one!
Thanks so much bro!

Great tip, thanks Sean!
Thank you so much! Your advice completely cleared up my problem on my 2006 TTR 125L!!!!
Hey if you don’t mind me asking what was wrong with yours ? I have the same 006 TTR and seem to have the same problem thanks !
I was puzzled over the idle screw not doing anything. Thanks a lot.
I jumped off JAM HOUSE Live to support your channel.

All after messing with the air fuel screw it was screaming! Appreciate it.
Welcome Andrew! Thanks for swinging by the channel!
mine is screaming now too idling high, so maybe my air fuel screw needs to be adjusted correct? man I'm nervous to mess with it.
@@Propertyexit same with mine
@@Propertyexit u get it fixed ?
what if you are idling HIGH, and when you press your clutch lever in it idles crazy high too? which screw do you mess with?
Ahh thank you! This gives me some hope haha
You got this!
Where should the idle srew be when I adjust the fuel srew
Question, what if the air screw dosnt respond? I've turned mine 1 turn out and tried to keep idling. I'm at 10 turns now and still won't idle.
My carburetor is missing one pipe. 1:01 the pipe on the left is missing and I have another one to put on but I just don't know where it connects to. Can someone help? 😔
Bigger bars. suspension. Exhaust and carb kits that kind of stuff
My 08 doesn't have these screws in those places. Doesn't seem to have it at all
henrypeters96 it runs the dual throttle cable
Where do I go for upgrade parts for my 2006 TTR 50 ?

Good info man!!
Does the bike need to be running when I screw it?
I had to turn mine out about 4 turns just to get the idle adjustment to respond does that mean anything or is it just cause I may be at different elevation? I’m at 4,500 above sea level
If you have to turn it out more than 3 turns you need to get a different size pilot jet.
Thank for the tip.
Welcome Mark!
I have a 2002 90, and I'm dealing with the same thing. After Riding for 10 Minutes or so it will eventually start to idle half ok
Big help. Thanks for this!

Not sure if you figured it out yet but you just unscrew the top and you can take the throttle cable out
@@alexwebber1602 so no need to pull the carb correct
@@FURFEELINGS_3 yes no need just unscrew the top of the carb and disconnect the cable then put the new one in
My ttr 125 will idle and rev. But dies when you try to drive? What would csuse this?
Low compression could cause this.
Do you let the clutch go too fast?

I either twisted the carb sideways each time I adjusted, or I used my 90 degree tool.
And you're welcome , thanks for the kind words friend.
Nice work !!
Thanks Dan! Your kind words go further than you think!
Even though I was working on an entirely different year it helped me immensely.
Very helpful!
Thank you!!!!!!

Does the air fuel screw have to be all the way in when you turn it the 2-3 complete turns
Yes
@@Quinton_treecutter thanks also do you know the air/fuel ratio because my bike didnt come with the manual

Ahhh.. had to be the only screw I didn’t turn when I cleaned the carb… makes sense.
Isn’t that called the pilot screw?
Pilot, air, fuel screw are all the same thing, yes.

I believe that was an 03 or 04
