My great grandfather a veteran tank operator in Vietnam and Korea used to live here. I always love brag on the fact that he dealt with frostbite in Korea, was a sergeant major, and got a Purple Heart. Sad that once he returned home however he still was called the n-word and looked down upon. But he lived a good life and was a true man of god. Hope he rests in peace.
From Newark it's so wierd how a city south of dc has such a northern look to it I've been to Almost every city in the south and you can tell your in the south Raleigh ,Charlotte,Charleston, Atlanta but Richmond is totally different I'm not saying it's exactly like the northern cities but it's has similarities Richmond is unlike any city in the south it's in a class of its own I love Rva absolutely 💯 luv ❤️
you started in Carrytown and ended up in the Museum District you never made it to the Fan District at all need to go a few more block eastward to get to the Fan

Richmond is a great place to visit! It has elements of North and South!
