Have the srl2 in my new NewTec 2, but Cardo with JBL speakers in my other helmets. On a 10 day tour in all weather the Cardo worked perfectly. Probably will change from Sena for consistency. Thanks for the heads up.
Thanks for the review. Yes, I too was really disappointed with the SRL2 for the GT Air 2 helmet. The speakers were terrible, and the microphone just didn't work at all at when I got going on my bike. It only worked when I was stationary!
Firstly great review as always mate, I like the flush integration into the the GTAir2 helmet but the sound quality is terrible hence why I went for the Cardo pack talk with JBL speakers. The Cardo has much better audio quality and high end features for a similar price
As an owner I agree with you. I have srl 2 and srl mesh. Mesh is better but after 2 weeks it died by itself. Now I'm waiting for reclamation of my Mash system for 350$. I consider it as a nice scam for the money they ask

Wish I had seen your video before buying an SRL2. Totally agree, it’s a waste of money. Apart from the poor speaker quality the left cheek pad just won’t stay in place due to the cable coming from the unit. Will be taking back for a refund.
Motorcycle comms is in such a piss poor state. It's the same 10-15 year old tech repacked year after year and it's like they don't do ANYTHING to address the concerns that riders have. And they charge nearly 400 dollars for it.
Yep had 2 Shoei neotec2 with the Sena srl2 intercom , crap speakers , units lasted a couple of years both died a day after each other due to water ingress . Buy again ? Nope. Rubbish company? Yep. Shoei should distance themselves from Sena.

Ive used both, the sound on the 20S is better than the SRL2 but the Sound on the SRL Mesh is better than all of them.

my worst purchase ever was this sena srl2, just straight daylight robbery.

this srl2 totlay rubish,sound like from toilet,not reocgnizing with PC,apps not working well,epic rubish,not worth!!!
