- The next generation of Sena’s SRL for SHOEI is here. The SRL3 is packed with premium features, including Mesh Intercom™ and SOUND BY Harman Kardon speakers and microphone. Designed specifically for three of SHOEI’s most popular helmets, the SRL3 is the perfect companion for your next ride.
The SRL3 is custom‑designed specifically to fit into the interior recesses of the SHOEI Neotec 3 and SHOEI GT-Air 3 helmets. Once installed, the compact SRL3 unit is virtually undetectable from the helmet’s exterior. The left side of the SRL3 features a 3-button control, while the right side houses the simple one-click-to-connect Mesh Intercom™ button.
SRL3 offers both Mesh Intercom™ and traditional 4-way Bluetooth® intercom, allowing for connection to any Sena or Sena-powered device. Sena’s industry-leading Mesh Intercom™ communication platform has two modes: Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom™ (Open Mesh) and Group Mesh Intercom™.
Open Mesh features the industry’s first Mesh Intercom™ channel system. Like standard handheld or CB radios, Open Mesh lets users switch between nine channels. Open Mesh offers a single push of a button to click-to-connect to the Mesh Intercom™ network. It also supports a near-limitless number of users within a range of up to 5 miles / 8 km (min. 6 riders @ 1 mi / 1.6 km intervals).
Group Mesh supports a single, private group for up to 24 participants and the same range as Open Mesh for a more intimate group conversation. Only invited users can join the Group Mesh chat. Open Mesh and Group Mesh provide unprecedented intercom audio quality and robust connectivity.

One of the best/clear and detailed install video I have seen for those communicators. It's enough for me to go ahead and order the SRL3 for my GT-Air-3.
However, I realize that as I am installing my newly received SRL3 and Air GT 3, I realize that she skipped the few complicated parts like what do we do to run the mic cable at the leather bridge inside the chin guard... we go over or there's a way to go under?...
I've just ordered a Neotech 3 and SRL3 but I suspect it might be easier for me to learn Latin than remember those button pushes left and right... Looking forward to my endless learning curve - Ancora Imparo!
Sena does not have a technical assistance service for out-of-warranty products. If your intercom breaks down you have to throw it away.
I'm having trouble with pausing or changing the songs, are you guys considering an update regarding to this? Because it's really crucial while I'm talking to someone nearby I want to stop music at that moment
I have a GT AIR 2 and the SRL2 and it is so frustrating to use. It never understands my accent. Just turning the try music on is an exercise in frustration.
Is the SRL 3’s voice recognition any better?
What abount installing srl-mesh (srl2) to neotec 3? Or i need to re-buy same headset in a new chasis?
Hi. The Neotec 3 was not designed to integrate the SRL-Mesh or the SRL2, only the SRL3. Thanks.
Supposedly there is an adaptor kit that will be purchasable. Unable to confirm it.
Please work with Cardo to make Open Mesh truly “open” for all riders. It stinks that we have to compromise on our intercoms functionality because you guys insist on keeping arbitrary proprietary connections.
I really want to get this Sena intercom for my Shoei helmet because it’s so well integrated… but, all of my friends use Cardos. It’s great and all that they can connect through jumping through some hoops, but 90m of range and losing out on the full feature set of both intercoms is silly.
Let us all “mesh” together and use your design and quality to drive people to buy your product. Don’t try to force an ecosystem!
Does it have a headphone jack? I like to use my own hi-fi earbuds instead of the built in speakers.
Hi. Unfortunately, the SRL3 does not have a headphone jack. Thanks.
@@senatechnologies thanks for your honesty, but that is a deal breaker for me. I would add it to your next model because a lot of us like hi-fi audio, and we use ear buds, and the built in speakers just don’t cut it.
What is the process for me to pair my Sena SRL 3 with my friends Cardo product? (Freecom 4)
Hi. You can place the SRL3 into Universal Intercom pairing mode and then place the Freecom 4 into Mobile Phone pairing mode. For more information, please check the User's Guide for the SRL3 on our website. Thanks.
@@senatechnologies Thanks will give it a try!
I am looking forward to adding this to my Shoei Neotec 3. The SRL3 is not available anywhere. When can I purchase the SRL3 in the US?
Hi. Please use Shoei's Dealer Locator page here: shoei-helmets.com/dealer-locator/ to find a retailer near you to check if they have the Neotec 3 in stock. Thanks.
Not a single retailer has it in stock. Is it available in the US? Every dealer says that it’s not. Do you know when?
I have the helmet!!!
???
You can order it from Europe. I just ordered mine today from Spain.
Wish I could find the srl3 in stock around me.
Do you not have the internet?
@@yzuty78w they are out of stock everywhere in the US.
I just ordered mine today from Spain. And it's cheaper
Got mine from FC Moto in Germany.
Will the SRL3 fit in a Neotec Air II?
Hi. No it will not. The SRL3 is designed to fit the Neotec 3 and the GT-Air 3. Thanks.
Quality is good an install overall is okay but those flimsy hooks for the mic are a bad joke.. had to use tape to keep the cable in place because it was impossible for me to hook the cable under those tiny things without breaking anything,
oh and the cable is too long in a size L helmet so I need to "Store" the excess somewhere out of the canal anyway
2km in the moon, in real life ~50m between walls and ~700m in open terain.
please make a slim sena (it's way too bulky)
Hi. The SRL3 is one of our slimmest products that integrates into a helmet. We also recommend our 10R which is our slimmest model that attaches to any helmet. Thanks.
PLEASE when will this be available in the states? Anyone?
You can order it from Europe now and it's cheaper...I just order mine today from spain
@@Motodoggo_ I ordered it from FC MOTO in Germany. I had it in about 4 days.
I picked mine up today at Cycle Gear. So they are available now.
I have a neotec 2. Had a hard time putting the cheek pads back on
When Arai finally
Hi. We recommend contacting Arai and request that Sena makes a Bluetooth headset that integrates into their helmet similar to the way that the SRL3 integrates into Shoei's helmets. Thanks.
Keep dreaming. Arai won’t make a modular or add integrated comm systems. I hate that approach and now moving to Shoei after 3 Arai helmets.
I'm loving my GT-Air III and I can justify the price. But for the headset to cost what it cost.. it's a difficult pill to swallow. (It's all times 2 for me, I need it for me and my wife)
Impossible to connect on my bmw 1250gs ...
If Sena intercoms break after the 24 months of warranty, they have to be thrown away in the toilet. There is no technical assistance service either from Sena or from Shoei. A real disappointment.
A bit difficult for me. Manufacturers should invent something easier to install.
Si c’est la même merde que le Srl2, c’est pas la peine. Nul
