Do you need any additional bt dongles to connect like d-fly? or just connect directly with btle to your phone?

@@kenhadiwidjaja7291 have to take bike to a dealer, as they have dealer software and connection leads, but never got chance to take the bike, so using as is at the moment..

If pairing fails:
- Go on your smartphone's bluetooth menu and dissociate the bike's device
- Switch OFF and ON the bluetooth on your phone
- Open E-tube app
- Start the bluetooth LE connection on your bike and pair the 2 devices.

I have a 2015 trek Boone 9 disc that I was just gifted, I ordered the battery and the mt800 display unit. Is that the only thing needed to make it Bluetooth/synchro shift ?

Done it but it still fails. I get connection error. I have also a different menu on the app. In the play store many people report the same problem. I read that third party apps are much easier to connect but if you use them you lose the warranty.
Really disappointed by Shimano.
