Lights are easy to add. Busch Müller has lights that can be added with clamps, adapter, etc to go on you HBs Got one on my Kona El Kahuna SUV that plugs into the main computer. I adapted it for 35mm handlebars by removing the bar clamp that it came with, then bolting it to a GoPro extension, then adding a GP steerer tube cap. The whole setup now sits right on top of my stem perfectly centered and pivotable to any angle to the ground in front I desire. Clean looking
@@jasonsmountainbikereviews Yes. The El Kahuna SUV comes with that combo. I like the battery life that comes with the larger battery on the EK-SUV but not the heavy fenders and rack, so I replaced them with lighter stuff. I put on a Bontrager rack with hollow aluminum tubes. I routed the Shimano rear light cables through those hollow tubes through the access holes I made with a Dremel. I used polymer Muckoff fenders to have off weight, but also make it look less like a cummuter bike, with the rear fender ending in the middle of the top plate of the Brontager rack so as to have less of fender tale in the back. Kinda gives it a MTB look altogether, like MTB meets Moto Scrambler
Yeah, the walk feature is really cool and I didn't even realize it had that at first. Super helpful, because this bike weighs over 50lbs, so pushing up hill over an obstacle could be a bit much without the assist ;)
No problem, if you hold down the menu button which is that little one in between the up and down... In there is a clear option which should reset those stat numbers for you. Also my full review of the T6E which covers the control system in a little more detail is here: th-cam.com/video/fcDfaALWXYk/w-d-xo.html
Great video and very helpful! My question is ; when you press to increase the power yours goes up in 7 stages , I have the same same up and mine only goes on 3 stages do I need to change a setting to get the 7 ? Thanks
You have a different Shimano unit that is not like mine.. I don't know how to connect to the app with your switch, sorry... Here is the manual: si.shimano.com/en/pdfs/um/7FS0B/UM-7FS0B-000-ENG.pdf
Hi, i've got the same problem. SC-EN600 screen (without any button) and SW-EM800-L switch (only two buttons, up and down). I can access the menu while pressing up and down simultaneously, but then i can't access the sub-menus. @bigrambo1314 if we find the solution, let's share it here if you mind.
I honestly do not know, I'm sorry... The documentation on these units is extremely limited after doing extensive re-search. I made this video, because I could not find out how this stuff worked and had to just figure it out pretty much... All the best, Jay
Hey there, and sorry for the delayed reply... If you hold the mode button down it brings you into the menu and there is a clear option. That will reset the distance for you.
I just cleared it on my T6E and the Odometer and profiles did not change. I was a little nervous it would wipe everything also, but it does say DST is what's being cleared...
Nice and informative! Thanks for breaking it all down; and most importantly, enjoy that bike!
Thanks for the kinds words and several more videos to come!

Awesome to hear, and you are using the Shimano controller to control the light as well?

Thank you for the tutorial. Could you please tell me which app you used to get the 7 levels of assistance? E-Tube? Thank you.
Thank you very much for the tutorial. How do I reset the tripometer? (Distance for a new ride?)

Do you how to make the clock into a 12 hour clock instead of 24 hours?
Hey there, I just tried and there does not appear to be that option on my unit.
@@jasonsmountainbikereviews yea thats my problem too.
Did you figure out how to add light so that light button is used and where are ports to connect the light?
No I have not tried that since I already have battery powered lights...
Hey mate. How do you find the battery life?
Hey there, It's hard to find those numbers.... I have went on 2 shorter rides and still have half a battery left. More testing to come soon!
@@jasonsmountainbikereviews really looking forward to further videos about this bike. You present your videos so well
Thanks and I just dropped another one a few minutes ago: th-cam.com/video/S0DY8oZFPhA/w-d-xo.html

I have a YT Decoy with the 2024 EP6 motor. It does not have the display. Can it be added?

No worries. I liked the video thanks!
I have the exact same question. Would be great if anyone has an answer for that😅
How can i reset the DST?
Hey there, and sorry for the delayed reply... If you hold the mode button down it brings you into the menu and there is a clear option. That will reset the distance for you.
@@jasonsmountainbikereviews I see, thought that clear option would reset everything (like also profile settings). Thats why I never selected it.

Where do you turn bluetooth on on a bike
On my bike it is just part of the electronics and it is ON by default...
@@jasonsmountainbikereviews tanxs i just figur it out
