La fatbike (o fat bike) è una bici da fuoristrada o mountain bike con una larghezza dei copertoni maggiore del normale, che va da 3,8 pollici o più larghi e dei cerchi, che va da 2,6 pollici o più larghi, utilizzabili a pressioni minori per consentire una maggiore tenuta su terreni difficili, come la neve, la sabbia, le paludi e il fango. I telai delle Fatbikes sono costruiti appositamente con forcelle più larghe per far sì che le ruote più larghe possano girare senza attriti. Le ruote più larghe possono essere utilizzate a pressioni minori ad esempio a meno di 5 psi (340 hPa) permettendo una migliore tenuta e una facilità per il superamento degli ostacoli. Una pressione di 8-10 psi (550-690 hPa) è adatta per la maggior parte delle persone.
Le Fatbike sono anche chiamate "bici dalle ruote grosse", "bici da sabbia" o "bici da neve. Spesso si fa riferimento a questo sport come "sport invernale" o "mountain bike invernale".
Sono bici molto versatili, in grado di affrontare diversi tipi di terreni, quali la neve, la sabbia, il deserto, la palude, il fango o anche solo i sentieri per le normali mountain bike. In alcuni paesi sono stati costruiti dei sentieri sulla neve dedicati a questo tipo di bicicletta.

Different bikes more accurate would be different frames because rest parts are usually from two or tree different manufacturer on top end bikes.

But the versatility is untouched, able to run every wheel size on 1 bike. Lets see, buy 3 bikes or one bike with 3 wheel sizes, ill take the les fat. Besides if you compare the specialized fat boy to les fat, same build quality pivot knocks it out of the park.

You're joking right? Norco Bigfoot ahead of the Trek Farey. I got an upgrade when I sold the bigfoot and bought the Farley.
Jaap Ongeveer - agree with you on the Farley - not sure if I saw a rank number beside each but I see the list as showing the best Fat Bike last. (I.e Farley) 😀
If you put a mastodon on a bigfoot, they are essentially the same component wise, just depends which frame you prefer. I have a Big Foot 2, but I have have a VLT Bigfoot (ebike) on order - that's going to be interesting....
Fatback and 9zero7? How in the WORLD did those not make the list?? They were making fat bikes before ANY of the major company joined in. They were designed around fat tires. Fatback was the originator of the symmetrical rear end. Listing 10 bikes don’t necessarily make them the top 10.

I love my Norco Bigfoot, but you showed the Bigfoot, Sasquatch, and Ithaqua. The Bigfoot is one of the best values out there with simple upgrades to make it even better!
Colorado Mtb Hi, how do you think the Ithaqua compares to the Canyon Dude?
I have not ridden either, but looking at specs and components there are similarities. For the price, the Canyon seems like a great deal. The one thing I look for is hub spacing. If you want to move into a suspension fork later, you'll need a 150mm front hub. Many bikes come with 135mm. Mine did, and I just changed out the hub. The Norco also has a dropper seat post. The Canyon seems to have better gearing and a better price point.
All I can say is that I love my Norco Bigfoot, but there are a lot of good bikes out there. If carbon is what you're looking for do your research because there are a lot of great bikes out there. Good luck to you!
Colorado Mtb i have a bigfoot to i replace the brake with avid code and disc , replace pedals , handle bar and handgripp . Now it s near perfect !
Basically you found some bikes photos that appealed to you visually and you put them against some EDM music. Top 10 is clickbait with no other substantiated parameters of measurement.
Below the video there is the description of the top 10, they are the best 10 fatbikes on the market at the time I created the 2017 video, you are commenting in the old video, it is normal that now the top 10 is different.
