Good to see the Guinness videos again.... How about some more on food matching with Guinness? I love a bag of dry roasted peanuts with my third pint, gets the lip back again.
The James Joyce is probably my favorite Irish Pub in Prague, it's more of a pub for locals than the likes of Caffreys would be. The Dubliner is always reliable too, around a 2 minute walk from Caffreys
That brings back memories, we had ivf ( I know over sharing 🤪) 12 years in Prague and spent a decent amount of time there and drank some beer after depositing 🤣great back street places to eat and drink. Going to catch up on your next updates cheers , sláinte 👍🍻
Searching out more Guinness around the world but also searching out the local brews. Nice. Pilsner not my fav but gotta hit some local spots and try what’s popular in other countries. Slainte!!
Great review Darrah, I live on the Isle of Wight and it seems to me that Guinness doesn’t travel that well, would be interesting to try and find out why though 🍻
Was at that Ireland game in Prague you mentioned... The glory days under Stan Staunton 😅 Due a revisit i reckon.. great stuff as always, keep up the good work lad!
Played a gig in Brno and can confirm the local beer was fucking brilliant ! Was there the day after you arrived and saw the city on the bus over. Beautiful architecture in both cities
@shutup2751 I'd argue Czech Beer is the best in the world, followed by Belgian, then German. My favourite beer is Slovak ha. In terms of Hungarian beer, I've only had Dreher and Soproni.
Who goes to Prague to drink Guinness? I live here (and love a good Guinness), but I usually drink Pilsner Urquell (Plzen). A lot of smaller breweries also produce great beer, but Plzen is the go to. Guinness is expensive and not great here generally.
Irish pubs are like McDonalds. It's fine from time to time, but it doesn't make much sense to travel to a foreign country only to end up in Irish pub. They all look the same.
Guiness requires 3 things A dry glass at room temperature The pour And the settle... If there is even a drop of moisture inside the glass before it is poured That's where you get a bad pint A hot dry glass straight out of the dishwasher Which pub wins the league?
All you have to do is create a League of Ireland for Guinness You can win the league, drop down the table And be relegated Ireland qualifies for the Euros and the Worlds All of the other countries have to qualify on the quality of the Guinness wm
I am not a hater I want to see you do well Why you thought you could move in to the other stuff is down to yourself and your advisors You only started drinking Guinness a short time ago But in that time, you have drank so much Guinness, in so many different 'establishments' that your view is valid and educated... The problem is you decided to give a 'score' You can not judge Guiness on one pint Every man who ever had a pint knows it can be bad one day, good the next Its keg rotation, staff who are not in the Trade and balance sheets Having roasted you before... I had an idea... Create a league for the best pint of Guiness and base it on the football league You visit, randomly, let's say Spring Summer Autumn Winter And you have 1 pint The pint is Win, a Lose, or a Draw So no scores out of 10 Just nothing for a loss, a point for a draw and 3 for a win Who wins the League over a season?
The intrigue and why the league becomes competitive is that you don't order the pint You send in a decoy You only arrive when the pint is poured and settled In my view... It will improve the professionalism of staff, when they are pouring the pint It's a win
who cares who has the best guinness in prague,, you go to another country for there drink. pivo/pilsner... but they do stouts and porters too, far better than a mass produced one from overseas .
Going to beer capital to have a foreign beer, I hope you had 10 Czech beers to wash that down
Seeing the pint hovering around in the background as Darragh stresses was quite funny 😅
Good to see the Guinness videos again.... How about some more on food matching with Guinness? I love a bag of dry roasted peanuts with my third pint, gets the lip back again.
The Dubliner has great vibes, I tour all those pubs every time I'm visiting Prague, good stuff
Dubliner was class, great food as well
Absolutely stunning city.
Great to see more content.
Just back from Ma Nolan’s in Nice. Proper good stuff
Brilliant, love these travelogue pub tours with a bit of G 🐱
I walked across the bridge specifically to visit sally O’brien’s based on this video and I’m so glad I did. Great pints!!
Class video, i think thats a good system you have for Prague: Best Guinness and then Best local beers.
Prague is one of my favourite cities
The James Joyce is probably my favorite Irish Pub in Prague, it's more of a pub for locals than the likes of Caffreys would be. The Dubliner is always reliable too, around a 2 minute walk from Caffreys
I staggered in there about 1am one morning, good wee dungeon!
Was there myself, the foods was great
Love the videos. Keep them coming.

Ran into your channel a few days ago, great stuff! Got yourself a new sub.
Great review Darrah, I live on the Isle of Wight and it seems to me that Guinness doesn’t travel that well, would be interesting to try and find out why though 🍻
Just looking at the third pint , definitely looks like a winner
Well done mate! Best video for ages! Keep up the hard work
Was at that Ireland game in Prague you mentioned... The glory days under Stan Staunton 😅 Due a revisit i reckon.. great stuff as always, keep up the good work lad!
The ASMR of every first sip of beer always tickles my lizard brain in a funny way
I missed the gulping sound lolol great video love the pints love you doing this can’t of video s
Best Guinness I’ve had in Prague was in the Irish Times. Not far from the Charles Bridge.
Loving the days out on Guinness again 👍
Sláinte, Darragh! Pragues a fantastic city. Glad I've got a list of Guinness to sup!
Nice looking pint in Sally O'Brien's to be fair to it
Played a gig in Brno and can confirm the local beer was fucking brilliant ! Was there the day after you arrived and saw the city on the bus over. Beautiful architecture in both cities
The gig was actually in a former beer brewery, Faze. If your into techno I’d recommend visiting !
Czech Beer is the dog's bollix. Never dreamt of touchin Guinness over there. Jammvy b%stard Darragh. I'd love to be there.
The dogs bollocks haha great!
I paid less than a euro 21czk for a decent pint of Gambrinus during the 2018 world cup in Prague.
Hungarian beer also meant to be pretty decent i heard
@shutup2751 I'd argue Czech Beer is the best in the world, followed by Belgian, then German. My favourite beer is Slovak ha. In terms of Hungarian beer, I've only had Dreher and Soproni.
Three Fiddles...That is the best pint
Good stuff, Liam definitely isn't a prognosticator.
Gotta work "thank frick" into the lexicon 😂
Working on my profanity 😅
Good video on the guinness
Did you see Kafka?
No way I'd go to Prague and have Guinness but I understand that is the point of this channel tbf
Exactly. Talk about coals to Newcastle
it was good you missed the rugby trip. Load of irish drinking in paddy pubs. great adventure for ya ffs.
Who goes to Prague to drink Guinness? I live here (and love a good Guinness), but I usually drink Pilsner Urquell (Plzen). A lot of smaller breweries also produce great beer, but Plzen is the go to. Guinness is expensive and not great here generally.
As a wise man once said (cowboy lavin) Guinness outside of Ireland is like Grandmother's milk
The best pint of Guinness is your next pint of Guinness.
Lol
Good!!!
Vuelven los blogs de Guinness por las ciudades.
Pon el precio de la pinta rotulado en el video
Saludos desde España!!
gwan Darragh
Sally O’Briens is easily the best Pub in Prague. Any study abroad student can attest to the hospitality of Liam & Mike, and the pours are incredible!
Bro what are you, 6’8” or something 🤣
😂
Irish pubs are like McDonalds. It's fine from time to time, but it doesn't make much sense to travel to a foreign country only to end up in Irish pub. They all look the same.
can you explain why you drink that shit in country of beers?
Guiness requires 3 things
A dry glass at room temperature
The pour
And the settle...
If there is even a drop of moisture inside the glass before it is poured
That's where you get a bad pint
A hot dry glass straight out of the dishwasher
Which pub wins the league?
Deffo don't want the glass in the dishwasher 😂
Not a big fan of Guinness. For dark beer U Fleku makes the best dark beer available in Prague- Flekovsky.
You'd also like the Matuska Stout (at Automat Matuska) and the Pardubice Porter (at Pivnice U Jary) plus these two are not at all touristy.
All you have to do is create a League of Ireland for Guinness
You can win the league, drop down the table
And be relegated
Ireland qualifies for the Euros and the Worlds
All of the other countries have to qualify on the quality of the Guinness wm
You have to have an 'Edge' brother
Otherwise it becomes tedious
A League of Ireland
And a Champions League in Europe
A World Cup?
20 teams in the Premier League
From your experience Create a Premier League of 20 pints
I am not a hater
I want to see you do well
Why you thought you could move in to the other stuff is down to yourself and your advisors
