In this review of the Shimano ZEE M640 rear derailleur I compare it with the Shadow Plus SLX M675 SGS/ Long cage which seems to be identical with the exception of the cage.
Hi I'm building a 1x10 on my bike but I don't know what derailleur to use. I am using a 11-36 cassette and a 32t narrow wide chainring. I might use the zee but I don't know wether to use the zee or the xt derailleur. Wich would you use?
The Zee does not have the "D" logo for Dynasis? Since the XT has the sealed bearings, do you think it's better for a person who may ride their "touring" bike through a little dirt/mud and in the rain etc.? I bought the SGS XT because I didn't know a shorter cage derailleur could work with the 11-36 cassette.
Will M7000 SLX 10 speed shifter work with ZEE M640-SSW Shadow rear derailleur? Or should i just go with ZEE 10 speed shifter? The SLX shifter is only $2 more than the ZEE at the moment.
Hi, how is the lever switch use? Why or when do you turn it on or off? Does it automatically turn in when you ride the bike or do you have to turn it on manually? I have and old 9 speed slx and don't recall it having a switch lever. Thanks.

top pulley play is part of the design. all deraileurs have it. great review btw.

In regards to the cable pull ratio, could I mix the ZEE with 11 speed shimano road shifters?
Was thinking of having a shiftmate 7 for Campagnolo Potenza Ergo 11s shifters with ZEE derailleur, E13 11s 9-34t cassette
