- Sorry, I had to Re-upload due to bad audio. In this video I’m going to give my review of the creation Shadetree Lodge by Elianora. These are creations made by modders and put in Bethesda games like The Elder Scrolls Skyrim and made for sale. I will let you know if I think it's worth the money. Don’t forget to subscribe!

Are you going to pick up this creation?
Nope.
I don't blame you at all @@thefairybug40
i barely even visit any of my houses in the first place so not really
Never. No paid mods.
i don't think individual house mods are worth it, but if they were sold in packs of 10 than i would consider maybe paying $4 for it.
however i don't like the idea of paying for mods individually, i would much prefer bethesda turn this service into a subscription model because i would rather pay for unlimited access to the mods over the individually sold mods on this market.
this way they would make it far better for all parties involved and not appear too greedy to the costumer base.
so instead of paying $4, $6, $8 per mod, you are paying a subscription fee per month that maybe only costs $10 a month and you gain unlimited access to all mods on that format.
however i still feel like there needs to be a free mods section to incentivize people on this subscription idea, if bethesda were serious about this they would cap the free downloads per person on the service to something like 3 mods per month, the mods are still free to download and use, but the mods do have a limit to how many each user can download per month, so at least there are some checks and balances in the system.
i also feel like they need a ranking system for the people downloading these mods, so people have a better idea what they are getting in that full package of the mod, where users can tell what that mod includes and if they like it or not.
wouldnt be surprised if they do another anniversary edition with all the new creation mods
You know they gotta rerelease the rerelease of the release.
Naaah, cause these aren't officially supported
@@panzer00 I thought they were. Officially supported and lore-friendly. Is that not true?
@Leto85 currently, none of the paid mods are official Vanilla content, like the Creation Club content is with the Anniversary Edition; Verified Creations (paid mods) are mods. Bethesda is running the mods through their QA process (we as consumers don't know what that process is and there is no standard for quality based on what's being sold atm), hosting it and they disable achievements just like any mod does.
There's tons of information in their Discord and the FAQ on the website.
I wouldn't buy any of these mods until Bethesda releases more detailed information on their future plans for the program.
Can't wait for the Anniversary Anniversary Edition.
They'll probably call it the Ultimate Anniversary Edition
Elianora made a house called Ruska, near Riften, with an interior that is practically identical to this house.. idk why anyone would buy a house mod, there are so many houses in Vanilla with AR.
Agreed
i personally think one house mod shouldn't be sold on this market, now if she was selling them in packs of 10, then maybe that price point would be worth while, but at the same time i don't like the idea of mods simply giving the player that thing, i like some kind of quest so you have to work in game to get the item. instead this house is free for the player.
There's a lot of great free player home mods, I wouldn't pay for one.
That's what I was saying in the video, also the AE version of Skyrim now comes with 2 homes made by Elianora and I'm not sure where this one adds value compared to even those
I still love the original houses that came with the actual "official" Hearthsfire DLC-- when Bethesda actually knew what a DLC was, instead of "now" calling paid mods "micro-DLCs"
I’m honestly not interested in house mods
Me either but I want to put the information out there for anyone who might be interested. thanks for the comment
@@joeykeith
are you paying for these mods in order to review them?
because if you are, i would approach these modders and ask them if they can at the very least give you a free copy of the mod so you can make these videos as your really doing them a service by talking about or advertising their mods.
My question is though...does it add the "we can live at shadetree, I have a house there" marriage dialogue...? Someone let me know, if so I would buy it tbh and I also play on survival but I stick to my house region most of the time
I'm just going to never update, use a regressor if I'm forced to somehow, and keep on keeping on with real mods.
thats cool. I don't blame you. I've had Skyrim installed on 2 different drives before. one modded and one not.
some people have decided to get the GOG version of the game, so if something happens to their hard drive or something to their pc and they want to continue to play the untarnished version of skyrim, they get the GOG version that's not tainted.
Wouldn't there be an issue if you purchase 2-3 homes that happen to be in the same exact spot?
Yes! Don’t purchase anything that changes the same part of the game or you will have to disable one of them
wtf Todd
Lol
im against paying for anything besides the base game. elianora should just stick to the bethesda salary and nexus donors. wasnt this a big outrage a few years ago?anyways cheers joe
Thank you. You know a lot of people forget that the outrage started with the original Skyrim LE. they were selling mods through steam workshop, and it didn't go over very well, but yea the one everyone remembers is the creation club a few years back with Skyrim SE.
"So far, every time I have fast-travelled here, my horse spawns in the stall, which is pretty immersive."
to be fair that is about as immersive as a horse stable gets lol
Essa casa é perfeita porém a fazenda não dá pra por trabalhadores, peguei essa casa e só falta melhorar a questão da fazenda
Ngl, idk why you’d buy any of the house mods off the creation club. For me, the only one I ever use is Hendraheim, and that’s just because it starts the quest early in playthroughs.
Thats why I couldn't recommend it. I felt like some people out there might want a good look at the creation before purchasing so I decided to get it to show them exactly what they would be buying. I still think the price is too high and they need to come down. that's just my opinion though
I mean, we already have so many vanilla house and hearthfire dlc. There's also some new houses added with AE, not counting other better house alternative from Nexus.
This is exactly what I was talking about in the video. The market here is just too saturated. Maybe and I do mean maybe if she was charging 100 credits ($1) would I recommend it. thanks for the input.
I WILL NEVER PAY FOR MODS.
OK THATS COOL
Not worth $5. It is similar to Honeyside TNF.
Exactly what I was thinking
Sadly enough, the only home I can actually afford.
I've been there. It was the back seat of a '72 dodge dart for a while for me. Hang in there, you got this
lmao not a chance
I think its very cool players make these designs but theres a great mod out there that i even had for ps4 when i played on ps4 back then, the hobbit home is free mod and has all you need, this lady im sure makes very nice creations but the hobbit home is far nicer and free.
Competition is fierce in this area for sure
i remember the hobbit mod and it was nice, but the one i really liked was the haven bag mod, which allowed you to use it on your travels anywhere any time, so you take your house with you as you adventure instead of it being locked at one location.
it would be cool to get some of these other mods with bigger cells to work with the haven mod or maybe they could be their own mod since these can't work without doing so on their own.
These mods will always be cursed for the one thing that makes them exist: the modding community.
Why send 5 dollars, or any money for that matter, in a house when there are hundreds available for free?
I don't want to see any house creations personally. I would like to see expansions, quests, dungeons stuff like that. hopefully that's what creations turn into. thanks for the comment
You pay for this stuff and you're telling Bethesda that what they did is ok. It most certainly is NOT.
I most certainly respect your opinion and appreciate the comment. It being OK or not is not for me to say but the reality is that creations is a thing now. There are people who will buy them regardless of how others feel about it, and I just want to make sure they know what they're getting before they shell out their money. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day
Lmao Elianora is known for mods that don't work.
Really. Which ones?
@@joeykeith MOST of her player homes ported to Xbox, by Eli herself, crash your game as soon as you try to enter. I'm sure they work fine on pc but her mods are under the featured section on Xbox very often and completely useless there. If my load order works perfectly at near capacity but her mods don't when added, it's on her.
