I was about to drop a 'paid mods aren't dlc or Canon' but then I remembered it's a play on words.
I probably should have spelled it cannon but I wasn't sure if it would hit the mark
the weapon must be realistic, this arquebus reloads at the speed of an under-barrel grenade launcher
I agreed with you: payed mods for me have gamechanging as a requirement as well.
And arquebus does that quite well. Those guns are so loud that my sneak archer build instantly changed into a combat archer build. My game has now be changed. XD
But jokes aside, it does change the gameplay a bit indeed when you look at the requirements to create these guns and especially its ammo: charcoal, firewood, and fire salts have become even more important now. That you have to melt these down at the smelter and than forge them at the forge is a small detail I just love. These bullets don't come easy but they hit so overpowered hard. It's only fitting that it'll requires a bit of work in order to get them.
And as far as I know there's no merchant selling them.
Guns are canon and cannon now.
And I love this payed mod. It's my second favourite of the new ones close after East Empire Expansion.

Are they? If your referring to the lore friendly tag that just means that they fit within the game it doesn’t mean they are canon

Guns are canon either way, and have been for a long time. Weirdly enough Skyrim takes the most roundabout way of adding them possible here considering you could probably just get a shipment of them in from Hammerfell if you wanted them

it's pretty much stupid that dwemer ruins are each a steampunk metropolis, and the Altmer have space ships (Sunbirds), but the Empire doesn't even have cannons...

and you are right, there are cannons in Redguard.
They're not spaceships, there's no such thing as outer space, the sky is a sphere and the "planets" and "moons" are infinite planes, just like Nirn is infinite. If you had a space rocket and tried to fly up from Nirn you would never reach outer space, there'd be air all the way to your destination, and if you flew far enough you'd hit the edge of the Mundus and possibly enter Aetherius through a star. Also, the Sun Birds were the people, not their ships.

No thanks... By covering this shit without explicitly saying that no, it's not worth the price I have the impression that you are supporting Bethesda's policy by advertising it. You seem to be a fan of Skyrim as much as we are and this update ruins the work of several talented modders who according to their statements will no longer update their mods because of Todd's laziness... I know that the item is not directly related to this but it is part of the equation. So yes, we only buy if we want and in that you have nothing to reproach yourself for but it is always unfortunate to see complacency on the part of those who get screwed.
If I'm complaining it's because you're the only Skyrim's content creator who doesn't seem stunned by the situation.
It would have been good to at least explain the situation to your viewers..
So as a reminder, Bethesda is trying with this update to lock the use of mods behind a Bethesda account in order to be able to completely appropriate and trade mods created for free.
The AE is today almost essential for certain modlists because compatibility is no longer guaranteed between the SE and the AE. This is the fourth time we have have to checkout and it is objectively unacceptable. At least for me, and it is by agreeing to pay $5 for horse armor that we will end up with a TES VI full of microtransactions. Some games can be service games but certainly not Solo RPGs.
In short, you are not responsible but seeing complacent videos makes me crazy.
Starfield is boring as a Sunday in the grave so they have to bring in the money but that doesn't excuse anything.
Buy BG3, unlike Todd Howard, Sven Vincke is not passionate about screwing over his clients while doing as little as possible.
Modder will port laser/plasma guns from fallout to skyrim soon 😂
This is just a reskin of the crossbow, it doesn't have any new animations.
