First step: have crazy long lashes naturally
I never had crazy long lashes. Lashboost gave me the lashes you see in this video. It’s an amazing product!

Seriously, lash boosters, the right ones, work like that. I barely had lashes and now they're almost as long as hers. However I made my own, it's easy and all natural and the same things they use in expensive boosters. I mix Castor Oil, Almond Oil and Biotin. That's it. I just use an eyeliner brush to apply it to my roots then wipe it up the lashes to make them thicker. I also made a larger bottle of it for my hair and it's grown fast. Lash Boosters though add things to make it absorb. I use a little eye relaxers vibrate/warmer after I put it on, then use it to make it absorb better. I use it for all my eye products to make them absorb. It's called a Sonic Massaging Wand.

@@angelsndaisies6188 I tried that recipe for a couple of years and it didn't work. Lash Boost is the only thing that works for me (I'm 40) and for my 70 year old mom. Lash Boost was created by 2 female doctors at Stanford they discovered that the chemicals used in an eye medication that's applied to the lash line for folks with Glaucoma caused a secondary reaction i.e. super long, thick and darker lashes. They took that info and created Lash Boost which is full of peptides and enzymes and a bunch of proprietary chemicals. Biotin is great taken orally in conjunction with Keratin and Bamboo supplements which I also take. Lash Boost does not depend upon Castor oil or Almond oil for its efficacy-I can't stress that enough. I am not an R&F representative but I have done a ton of research on the subject and thought I would share with you all. Also if you are going to use castor oil on your skin and eyeline make sure its cold pressed, Hexane free and stored in an amber or dark glass bottle.

You really don't need all that clumpy looking mascara. In my humble opinion it distracted rather than flattered your naturally beautiful, long lashes. Stopping at one coat would have looked amazing enough!

Ikr! She should've stopped at first coat. I'd very much rather have natural looking lashes. I think people tend to overuse mascara these days, as long as they can make the eyelashes long and thick, even if they look clumpy..I don't see the point. You use make up to enhance your natural features..in this case, she didn't make them look better really.

I use a generic of Lattise and it works wonderfully. I do wonder about it altering the color of my blue eyes.. but I haven't noticed anything after 2 years. After chemo I lost hair, eyebrows and eyelashes. Now I have my long hair same eyebrows and long eyelashes again. I need to see what the active ingredient is in your product, but I buy the generic so cheaply. I can't stand wearing falsies because they don't look as good as my real lashes and are a pain to put on. JMO. Great video Shayna. Good bless. xo

I saw somebody comment that the doctors who made Lashboost were the ones that discovered lash lengthing from glaucoma meds.
(Which I know is wrong.) That's how latisse came about. And prostaglandin is the actual ingredient that makes the lashes grow (from glaucoma meds) I dunno. Other women are saying the stuff works. (Looked at the ingredient list and I didn't see the prost so I really don't know.) But for 155? Really? Ugh. (I'm assuming you use Careprost?)

Girl, you are not ridiculous for not wanting to use products that companies test on animals. I feel the exact same. You are so right- there is no reason for a cosmetic company to test on/torture animals... I applaud you for acting on your ethics. Also, it's because people like us are taking a stand against this cruelty that brands are finally starting to transition to cruelty-free and vegan products!
I meant ridiculous to be using a blow dryer to curl my lashes 😂😂 I definitely don’t think using products that aren’t tested on animals is ridiculous... that is super important to me. Sorry if that was confusing!
You might want to double-check her comment about L'Oréal.
This is what I've learned:
In 1989, L'Oréal completely ceased testing its products on animals, thus 14 years before the regulation required so. Today, L'Oréal no longer tests its ingredients on animals and no longer tolerates any exception to this rule.
Loreal is NOT CRUELTY FREE as of 2023. Google them.
So I watched this video yesterday and I tried all your tricks today except the primer because I had to order that and I'll have to go pick it up.
I am completely blown away by the difference!
I'm going to be looking for a mascara with a different type of wand and I can't wait to see the results after I use the primer.
And this is something I can do everyday.

I totally love this video and I agree with the lash serum...After second pregnancy I lost like half my lashes ... It was devestating and I didn't want to use falsies in case it would damage the remaining few I had. I absolutely use every one of your techniques. I even swear by the comb mascara brushes and I use an old one that was discontinued with another mascara just like you. I've never seen anyone else do it like I do it so it was really cool to see you do it too. Everyone thinks I wear false lashes bc mine are always so long. I'm like nope they're all mine, LOL. another fun tip for getting longer lashes, put coconut oil on your lashes before you go to bed every night and they grow longer and faster! It works, I promise. I do it every night and I’m always getting compliments on my lashes. You can see a difference within a week or so (I could, I guess it probably differs person to person). 😉😉 Also, I loved the tutorial. I’m definitely gonna try the hair dryer trick

I was blessed with long thick eyelashes and when I was younger castor oil kept them in shape. After menopause, hypothyroid issues that didn't cut it anymore. I do use the bimatoprost and now they are back in shape. I do use a lash fiber on top of it and that creates more volume which I want along with my extremely long and too curled eyelashes. I could use a straightener, unlike most people I never need to use a curler. I get a lot of compliments only when I use just two regular mascara coats.

I agree! Yes, mascara helps volumize the eyelashes. However, when too much mascrars is applied, the eyelashes look very chunky and abnormal. They do NOT look normal, just saying!

Your eyelashes are so long!! I'm jealous 😭, but the telescopic mascara is one of my favorites. I have short lashes but that mascara definitely gives them a good amount of length.
Yes Telescopic works wonders!! If you want longer lashes definitely try lashboost! My girlfriends are now obsessed too! That stuff is made with magic I swear by it!

I loved the telescopic carbon black too but when i ran out i got the regular telescopic and it was not the same! I didn't even like it.
Don't worry dear it's a modern world, there is enough knowledge and helpful stuff to make you look better!! :) I love the author's eyelashes; but mine are getting closer to that length with the help of Cherish Lash serum & mascara! Maybe I should try Telescopic as well!! :)

I learned the tip about heating the eyelash curled with my hairdryer about 20 years ago, I'm 48 now! I do the wiggle back and forth close to the last line as well and also line inside of my eyeline too. It makes a massive difference. I've just purchased my first lash boost serum out of frustration of losing lashes at my age. I've only been using it for a week and noticing a difference. Sending love and hugs honey❤

What's the purpose of heating the curler . never did it.
Will it stop these new fangled curlers from pinching my face. All of the sudden they are too big.? If they made them with a spring, like the one I used for a long time it wouldn't pinch. And the darn thing is too big. It makes no sense. I still have one from even further back and that's smaller too. Have to sterilize it and try it. But think it's warn out.

This is wonderful! I had fairly normal eyelashes & longed for macro huge black winged ones. My head hair is straight and I have to use heated appliances to curl it - - - so one day I decided to heat my eyelash curler with my blow dryer. You're SO RIGHT to WARN your viewers to be CAREFUL of the heat as you can burn the hell out of your sensitive eyelid! So yes, test it on your cheek or the back of your wrist to be sure not to burn yourself. Then, my technique is to get in there to the base of the lashes and give it a good 4 seconds - then slowly walk the curler up to the tips of my lashes - pressing for 30 seconds with each step. One of my pet peeves is eye lashes that are pressed into right angles - which can happen if just curled ONLY at the base. Walking the curler from the base to the tips gives a more natural curve. I then told myself to go right out and get a copyright on a heated eyelash curler - but who has time? Especially when you find yourself thanking everyone for their compliments.

I recently bought the Essence Mascara Lash Princess, and let me just say that it has replaced my Loreal Voluminous one! It is the one in the black and green tube and it leaves your lashes like if you are wearing falsies! Super long and thick just with 2 coats. Gave one to my daughter and she loved it as well.....This one is my holy grail mascara as of right now...:)

De Anna I feel like they changed the formula on the voluminous mascara. I’ve been using it for years and all of a sudden it irritates my eyes. It irritates my sister too. It was such a great mascara 😥
@@nanitaylor8073 I use the 'basic black'. There's been a couple of times I tried the darker blacks and I didn't like them as much. But I think overall Loreal has great mascaras. I love that I can layer my lashes and it looks full without being clumpy and spider like and the formula is so soft. That sucks it quit working as well for you, I hate when that happens to a product you enjoy.
I totally agree with you! I love the L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Paradise mascara! It gives me so much length.

This is awesome! I never heard of using the hairdryer on your eyelash curler but am gonna try it for sure! I have a friend who makes her lashes look awesome like yours, but her technique is to separate the lashes with a safety pin! I'm always intimidated to do that even though I have done it and have not actually stuck myself. Still I never have been able to make my lashes look awesome like hers or yours. Can't wait to try these great tips! Thank you!

It has made my day as well. Soo happy when I hear other people also feel for the animals. Sadly, most brands test on animals and one has to do a lot of research to find brands that are cruelty free for real, but luckily there are quite a few brands that can be trusted.
