Waterproof mascara is an oil-based mascara. The staying power is non comparable to water-based (regular) mascara. So after the lash curling if you apply first coat with waterproof mascara (creating a shield in this way) and for the second coat you can use your favourite mascara - you will see a big difference. A water-based mascara applied directly on curled lashes will make them return at the shape it had before curling (it is like you use water on your curled hair 😁) . I love your channel! Hugs! 😘
My biggest trick is to drag the lashes towards your nose/inside of the eye instead of dragging it towards your ear while applying from the roots. I think that really helps to make them look longer 😊 love your videos, you are so funny! xx
Think you're the only one who tells us how to clean up a mess, and how to fix clumpiness while others tutorials on youtube do it properly the first time. Thanks a lot, I always made mistakes as a beginner!
All this time I thought it was the mascara causing the issues especially with getting raccoon eyes at the end of the day! Thank you for this tutorial, now I know it’s the way I’ve been applying it. I can’t wait to put my makeup on and try your techniques when putting on my mascara! I love your channel and have learned so much from you 😘
I don’t find you arrogant at all. This is the first tutorial I have seen of yours. My tip is to apply mascara on both sides of your lashes. Like from the top of your lashes and the bottom side like you’ve shown here. Thank you 😘
I have a tip to make my lashes look a little thicker. First, I put on a *thin* coat of mascara and let it dry slightly. Second, I run a spoolie over a dark powder eye shadow and brush it on my lash. Third, I apply a second coat of mascara. I use an inexpensive eye shadow, since it's just for coating the lash.
Its a great tip but I would never ever use any cheap stuff for my eyes. Eyes are the most delicate on our face. I use only the best stuff. Treatable brands only for eyeshadows, mascaras, eye brow pencil, eye liner, eye serum, eye base coat etc etc. Yes I use more expensive stuff for my eyes n i use a lot n repetitively (I redo my eyes makeup like every 4 hours if I get a chance) so it indulge my eyes all day n night. If we can spend on clothing, we should spend more on make up n especiallu on eye makeup. don't save for our eyes, don't go cheap on our most delicate face part please.
I know that I am late to the convo but I have to share this tip with somebody. I accidently discovered this tip by being in a rush while doing my makeup for work. My mascara was clumpy on my lashes and I was unaware of the trick using the spooly to take away extra mascara. I oddly discovered that setting spray (specifically rose water setting spray) works to de-clump mascara when sprayed on the clumpy mess and then proceeding with a spooly to brush out the clumps. I usually use my setting spray at the end but like I said I was in a rush and there was no sensical order to my makeup application. So if I have clumps, I spray and then wait a few seconds for the liquid to set into my lashes, and then I use the spooly to brush out the clumps and seperate my lashes. Hope this helps. Thank you for the great vid!
I usually run the mascara brush under a hot water tap, shake out surplus water, then brush through..or use a spare mascara comb/brush. Thanks for Your tips:-)

I know it's an extra step and some people just want thing simple, but I swear it's the best thing ever. I have played with different brands and I really like MILK. I DO let this almost dry/or dry before I put it on. I don't ever put mascara on without it. Solves all my eyelash issues! Thanks for the tutorial, I got some good tips to try!
Great tips and tricks. There are also self heated eyelash curlers that I like to use.. Sometimes I just take the blow dryer and dry my mascara from underneath to lift them while drying, it works but also dry out your eyes so I don't do it every day.. When using a waterproof mascara, you'll probably remove it with oily make-up remover, I find that this kind of removers makes the skin around my eyes oily with the result that the next time I wear make-up it will smudge sooner throughout the day. Hope this helps for someone who experience the same thing and didn't think of switching formula 😊

Hi Andreea, what has worked for me to recover a mascara that is drying ,is to put a few drops of eye drops like Visine inside close it, and shake it really well, and your mascara will work as new
Great tip! To make my eyelashes curl, I take my mascara metal curler and run it under hot water so it's warm and then curl my lashes. For some reason the warmth of the curler makes the lashes curl like crazy! Seriously, try it, but be careful, you don't want the curler to be hot, just warm!
Hi Andreea, you are not arrogant! You are really funny and sweet! I enjoy to watch your videos and I learned a LOT from them!! I’d like to mention that your skin looks gorgeus in this video! 5*
I also found that rolling the spooly under my bottom eyelashes works really well. It just separates them, makes them look less spidery and I think it works much better than brushing from the top! However, my bottom eyelashes are super long so I have to be careful not to overdo them at the ends!
Sorry! I also read saline solution in the mascara helps loosen it up because I feel like sometimes mine doesn’t last 3 months even?! They just don’t look as good. They also said put the bottle in hot water!
Dear Andrea, I never comment many videos but here I had to. I hope you read it and will be trilled if you reply. I sometimes also apply some kind of (translucent) powder before I apply my mascara or between Coates. It makes a huge difference if you do it the right way. I also used a special product for this, Catrice volume lash dust but good translucent powder also does the trick. And I always keep a very good mascara that is empty just because the bristles of the brush are so fine to Combe the eyelashes with between Coates. The one I'd use for this is Chanel Inmitable Multi Dimensionnel mascara. But there is one mascara that is LIFE CHANGING and does not need any tricks. It's Helena Rubinstein Lash Queen Feline Blacks mascara. Please do try this mascara or let me know if you know or tried this. I am known for my lashes just because and since I use this mascara and got everyone hooked on it. Also I have a question. What did you do to your upper lip. It looks so well done. I am thinking so long of getting something done and I love how it looks on you. I always enjoy your videos and almost on everything you do I either agree or learn a lot. You keep me updated without an attitude and that's what I like about you. Thank you. 😘
Vas Sta Its THE BEST!!! It makes your lashes look like you are wearing fake lashes, but in a good way. That's what everyone asks me when I am wearing that one. It is a little pricy though (around €37😱)and not available everywhere, but really worth every cent. Hope my advice and answer is useful.
Thank you for doing a close up! It really helps me to see exactly how to apply the makeup properly.😉 Now if I could only get the the eye liner wings straight 😅
I'm new to this whole make-up world so this video was really helpful. You didn't even need to curl your lashes! It's just about applying mascara the right way! :D Tysm for the lesson. ♥
Andreea: it’s not just one coat to produce that look but (i counted) 4 coats. You’re not the only one to say that though. Love your mascara video: thank you.
When I get mascara on my eye lid or in unwanted spots, I lick a q-tip and lightly touch it to my eyelid and twirl it lightly a few times and it always comes off and doesn’t ruin my eye shadow. Qtips are everything! Lol.
The holy grail mascara for me is L'Oréal beauty tubes. No flakes on your under eye area. Unfortunately they don't produce it anymore.... so tubing mascara is the solution especially if you have oily skin or live in a humid climate. Also addicted to your videos and your sarcasm!!
When I start at the root my eyelashes end up touching my brow bone lol they just too long for this method. They also get clumpy when I go back and forth from the root but I do see this working for someone with less lashes

Hi Andrea actually ur so sweet n cute in explaining all ur consequences during mascra😃 I do really appreciate it🤗....by the way these simple tricks are really helpful for beginners lyk me....n tqs for the lip shade at the last😻,,,,

I found it to be very helpful to put my mascara in hot water for a few minutes before applying. That usually gives me another month or so before I have to throw it out. Lol! But I DO love your suggestion of squirting some solution in the bottle to make it go further. Thank you for your "confession." All ideas on keeping my mascara longer is always welcome.
Hi , can you tell us what to do when the eyes have this look like spider legs? Or how is called 😁😁 when is to much and gets sticky? Also can you please try the new L'Oréal mascara, Paradis? Heard good things about it. Thank you! Xx
I am 46 and I have tried so many mascaras with my contact lenses ...At another TH-camrs suggestion I had just purchased Better than sex they mentioned paradise was a dupe....It sure is, however, the paradise does not run or flake and I work in the operating room. Paradise is the only one I have ever felt comfortable wearing on my bottom lashes...I returned the better than sex
Hi Andreea, I love the subtle shade in your videos, its funny! The lifechanging mascara hack for me was primer! I love the estee lauder lash primer plus. Also setting spray after. No fallout!
I've applied a multi use stick from Fenty in the color RIDIIC. The color can be a bit intimidating but every time I wear it people tell me I look so good. Probably because it gives me a really natural flush.
Also, I always do my lower lashes first since if I don't I will make the upper lashes bend if they are already covered in mascara when I do my lower. I slightly dab my lower lashes with a very light finishing powder, paint them and let them dry. Then I do my upper and I won't have to ruin my upper ones. I also cannot remove a possible smear with a spoolie since that would irritate my super sensitive eye area (but if it works, hey, fine!) so I do it with a q-tip with a tiny amount of micellar water.
Hi Andrea! I also love using the white conditioning primers prior to mascara application. I like the way they improve the fullness and longevity of my mascara!😊👌. I get ur sense of humor & I love it🤪
Spooly? I keep mascara brushes from old tubes, clean it with makeup remover then wash it with soap and water. Works great!

I love that you do not use eyeliner in this tutorial. I hate eyeliner unless I'm going somewhere special. I don't want to wear it to the grocery store!!! I love your tutorials!
Thank you so much for your valuable make up videos each time ❤❤❤❤
You are so gorgeous!! Thank you for all of your informational videos! They’ve helped me so much!
Great tips!! Do you have a makeup tutorial for this look? It’s so natural and beautiful 😍
Nvm I found it 😍
Is there is a makeup tutorial on this look??? :) you are stunning!!
Hey girl that k you so much for these videos!! I was never a makeup person until I turned 40 and realized I need to do something when the last person asked if I was tired all the time. You channel has been a huge help because I have tried before and I sucked at it so I just gave up. I was supper depressed about it seriously. I have been watching you videos and taking you advice and for the first time YESTERDAY I finally got it right and had so many compliments so that k you really!! I was about to just give up again and now totally addicted to learning more. I mean that thank you so much!!
Arrogant??? Not at all! You're so sweet and funny. I look forward to your next video.
You have such beautiful style & good tips! Thankyou
I just subscribed to your channel for beauty tips but also because you have such a fun way of explaining. You're a natural for videos. Keep smiling. :)
Hi Andreea, what has worked for me to recover a mascara that is drying ,is to put a few drops of eye drops like Visine inside close it, and shake it really well, and your mascara will work as new
love the way you talk and of course your make up tutorials!
Best make up channel ever!!! Not only is it informative, it's so much fun and Andreea you are too funny!
Her makeup looks so good 😍 it’s making me wanna do my makeup but it’s 11 at night and I’m tryna go to bed lol
Hahahaha! Love it!
this video helped me sm i struggled w the corner of my real lashes 😭😭😭 thank youuu i'm so glad i clicked this video 💜
O dear Ali Andrea you are such a sweet thing😍 I just love the way u talk ❤️ and Thank you for addressing all the mascara problems 😘😘😘🤗
Great tip! To make my eyelashes curl, I take my mascara metal curler and run it under hot water so it's warm and then curl my lashes. For some reason the warmth of the curler makes the lashes curl like crazy! Seriously, try it, but be careful, you don't want the curler to be hot, just warm!
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us! ❤️
OMG! I feel like I'm your Nr #1 fan! love all your videos ! Thanks for sharing tips and trick!
Where have you been all my life.
U R the the most gorgeous & cutest make up artist with awesome tips and techniques. 🙏🏻😍🤗😘
Also, what do you think about priming your lashes with concealer? I read that helps and I think I do like it!
Sorry! I also read saline solution in the mascara helps loosen it up because I feel like sometimes mine doesn’t last 3 months even?! They just don’t look as good. They also said put the bottle in hot water!
You are absolutely adorable. What a great personality.
I love the way you put on mascara. Thanks for posting it!
Dear Andrea,
I never comment many videos but here I had to.
Thank you. 😘
Rani Khan is the feline blacks actually a good one?And why?
Vas Sta Its THE BEST!!! It makes your lashes look like you are wearing fake lashes, but in a good way. That's what everyone asks me when I am wearing that one. It is a little pricy though (around €37😱)and not available everywhere, but really worth every cent. Hope my advice and answer is useful.
hi! Thank you so much for your recomandation ! I am going to try that mascara for sure. Thank you so much for being in here !
$50 in Canada!
There is s video that shows her lip make up, sure great, I think you will find it a little older dated, it's really really stunning.... 😍Tina
Thank you for doing a close up! It really helps me to see exactly how to apply the makeup properly.😉 Now if I could only get the the eye liner wings straight 😅
“...after one coat...” girl! That looked like 20 coats 😂
Lol for real she put a lot that first time!
Ikr
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
"just one coat!!" *450 coats later*
I think she meant one coat on the actual mascara brush😅
I'm new to this whole make-up world so this video was really helpful. You didn't even need to curl your lashes! It's just about applying mascara the right way! :D
Tysm for the lesson. ♥
Andreea: it’s not just one coat to produce that look but (i counted) 4 coats. You’re not the only one to say that though. Love your mascara video: thank you.
Also that brand of mascara she's using in that vid is 👌🏼💯
Andrea, this is by far the best tutorial ever!
When I get mascara on my eye lid or in unwanted spots, I lick a q-tip and lightly touch it to my eyelid and twirl it lightly a few times and it always comes off and doesn’t ruin my eye shadow. Qtips are everything! Lol.
Rachael Gomez I wait for the mascara to dry then flick it with a spoolie and bam...gone! 😊
the spit/lick from you mouth has mucho germs! try eye drops or let dry and use spooly
Same! 👍😊
i get you girl. but in the long term.. you get germs up there you dont wanna have.
@@ruthher1808 i use water on q-tip and it doesn't work. Eye drops make sense.
Say " thank you" to the nature or your parents (genes)for your long lashes. Mine's are small and it's not so nice :(
@@cameliap1146 There are lots of things I forget to be grateful for. It's a bad habit of mine to focus on the negative so it's nice to be reminded every once in a while to focus on the good.
Here's a tip. Take your mascara wand in one hand, in de other hand a hand mirror. Hold your head right up but look down. Now you can put on your mascara easier because you have more space in front of them. Good luck!
Hi Andrea actually ur so sweet n cute in explaining all ur consequences during mascra😃 I do really appreciate it🤗....by the way these simple tricks are really helpful for beginners lyk me....n tqs for the lip shade at the last😻,,,,
For those who have straight lashes like me... NOT all the waterproof mascaras will keep the lashes curled, even if you use a curler! The only one that works is Maybelline Waterproof Mascara. I've been using it for 13 years now and i would not change it even if my life would dependent on it 😂💁😜
Mara Make-Up Artist what mascara is that there are many from maybelline. What packaging my lashes don’t wanna stay up!!! Lol
Same eyelash type and Buxom is WONDERFUL! It also takes 6 months to dry out (and by then, I’m needing a new one anyway)
I totally agree!!!!
I think u like to say all mistakes ppl do wrong with makeup, but is always in a good and sometimes funny way.. that’s no arrogance.. your a great makeup artist and know what your doing. I love to see your videos bc I learn new things and tricks. Thank you beautiful🌸🌼🌺
Full confession: When my mascara gets dry I can usually get another week out of it by squirting contact solution into the bottle and mixing it around.
Love it. Thanks
You can also add olive oil or even eye drops if you don’t have contact solution !!
Great tips! What foundation and/or concealer are you wearing? It looks so natural and skinlike.
Hi , can you tell us what to do when the eyes have this look like spider legs? Or how is called 😁😁 when is to much and gets sticky? Also can you please try the new L'Oréal mascara, Paradis? Heard good things about it. Thank you! Xx
Mihaela Dzuric Just brush the lashes after the mascara is completely dry, with a spooley brush. It will take off all excess.
Ali Andreea Thank you!
No fallout!
hi Ali, you look flawless... would love to know the blush you used for this video, it's giving a beautiful glow to the cheeks
I've applied a multi use stick from Fenty in the color RIDIIC. The color can be a bit intimidating but every time I wear it people tell me I look so good. Probably because it gives me a really natural flush.
Thank you dear for replying. One more... Is this from the shimmer stick collection...
Great tips thank you. Could you possibly write down the name of that gorgeous lipstick and by whom. I love that natural look 👍
What foundation do u use? Your skin look amazing!
In this video I was using the Huda Beauty foundation.
I would love to see you try LimeLight Botanical Foundation! You look gorgeous using anything!
This video was such an eyeopener! In both senses :)) I have been doing this wrong ALL MY LIFE! But not anymore) Thank you very much!
I love your makeup even though it's simple I love it
Also, I always do my lower lashes first since if I don't I will make the upper lashes bend if they are already covered in mascara when I do my lower.
Duraline- Inglot for dry mascara , eyeliners etc, makes miracles :)
m2512m what is that?
Hi Andrea! I also love using the white conditioning primers prior to mascara application. I like the way they improve the fullness and longevity of my mascara!😊👌. I get ur sense of humor & I love it🤪
