Your eyes look beautiful! I am a former licensed esthetician and your techniques are excellent. So many makeup artists do not line all the way across upper & lower and it then looks as if they only have partial lashes. Good job! Thanks yo.
Hey Sharalee! When you get older and lose volume in the lashes you need all the tips & tricks you can get. I’ve never put liner in my waterline but I use the underside method to apply. To me it looks more natural. Primer has been a great addition for me also. I learned that from a pretty, young gal named Sharalee a few years ago!😂 Thanks so much sweetie! Great tutorial!❤❤
Great tips, Sharalee! I use an eyelash curler and primer before applying mascara, but have trouble with my lashes clumping if I do more than one pass, and surely if I apply more than one coat. Yours look beautiful! I'd appreciate any suggestions on what might help mine look more natural and less clumpy.
Your eyebrows are also beautiful! Great tips for flawless mascara. 🤗 For my ladies with straight lashes, another trick is to curl your lashes all the way up the lash, not just at the root. Start at the root, release but slide the curler a little higher on the lash and squeeze, and repeat until the whole lash is curled. Then use waterproof mascara at the roots first before your fav mascara. I promise it will change your lash game. Also I prefer a tinted (not white) mascara primer, Madeline Sky High tinted lash primer is a good choice, on sale right now on Amz. Then you’re not using too much mascara to cover the white primer.
WOW Long great eyelashes. I have almost no lashes due to enfentigal as a baby so I need to find someone to teach false lashes application because I just can't get it..
I'm SO BLESSED to not ever have to use an eyelash curler on my eyelashes. That's because I have naturally long eyelashes. I just purchased another tube of the Caliray Mascara, and I absolutely LOVE it!!! ❤❤❤ It makes my lashes long and full with lots of volume. I don't ever do those techniques with my eyes like you do with yours only because I have super-sensitive eyes. And I also have Retinal Vein Occulsion with Edema in the back of my left retina. I do see an eye specialist on a regular basis, and luckily the bleeding behind my retina has stabilized. I will probably start using an eyelash primer though. Your video's are SO helpful!! Thank you!! ❤❤
It's never too late to learn new tips! I used to dip a thin liner brush in my mascara and fill in the spaces, but the power looks great too. Due to my allergies, my eyes tend to water so some days its a battle to get the mascara on just right. Dior is my favorite and I am going to use the eye primer as that seems to make a huge difference. PS I found a heated eye curler on line that takes a triple A battery and works quite well. Your eyes look amazing so thanks for sharing your tips.
Hi beautiful makeup & helpful tips as usual. Would you be able to do a tutorial on how best to remove all the layers of mascara so it doesn’t ‘remove’ the lashes as well xx
I copy the lady on one of your makeover videos and tuck my eyelash curler in my bra to warm it up. So annoying when I forget it's there and I go straight in with primer and mascara 😂 I find your tips and tutorials so helpful you have got me interested in makeup again, thank you. I bought the Elf tubing mascara for my lower lashes on your recommendation and find it is brilliant and doesn't smudge or flake at all ❤
WOW-WEE !!! THANK YOU SO MUCH !! I have learned SO much from you !! I'm sort of embarrassed to say, but I am much older, yet, the many tips & hints I have learned, have come from you. So, MANY, MANY THANKS !!

Love all of your videos! I've been using your liner tips for several years now and agree with you . I'm a number of years older than you and a heavy liner no longer works for me but applying it this way works great! Great tips. Thank you!
Thank you for the great tips sweet Sharalee. I will definitely try the eyeliner with brush application for my upper eye lid. I used to line in my inner lid with eyeliner and had a terrible eye infection. Not even antibiotic eyedrops was sufficient to clear the infection

You always have the best tips! I love the look of using eyeshadow for liner but I always have such a mess with fall out when I use a darker shadow. Any tips for this or a video for this perhaps?
Great video! I have been struggling with an eyelash curler than I read in an article somewhere there are different shapes that work better for different eyes! It has made a huge difference! No one else really talks about this! Love your lipstick btw!
I stopped putting on eyeshadow and mascara three years ago! Instead, I wear false lashes, and they look fabulous! False lashes are very fast to apply once you get the hang of it. And WAY easier to take off than mascara. . Just gently remove them, and remove the glue from the lash strip, which takes about one minute. My own lashes are thin and pale, but my fasle lashes look nice and lush! I LOVE wearing them!❤
When I was 19, I had an eye infection from mascara. My mother-in-law suggested I instead wear eyelashes to save my eyes. I’ve been wearing them since….. I’m 73! No eyeshadow, just a little liner on lower lid and sometimes mascara on the bottom lashes but that’s it. These techniques take way too much time, although she’s gorgeous😉
I stumbled upon this video and I am so grateful I did!! What you demonstrated was so helpful… it was exactly what I needed because I have the same issue in getting my lashes to pop! The demonstration of sizes of eye lash curlers was fantastic. Never knew about that! Thank you so much!
I used to use eyelash primer … sometimes a great review is all you need to get back on track! Loved your video. First time watching you, I have subscribed! ❤
Beautiful as always, I love the outcome. I have very sensitive eyes though, and I cannot use shadow. How else can I do this? Also, for the lower lashes, I use the wind, not horizontal but vertical with the tip. This helps by not smudging the lashes and not getting mascara on skin…
Hi Sharalee, I watched this yesterday and today went out and purchased the eyelash primer. What a difference it makes. Love it. I also had no idea that you could buy different sizes of eyelash curlers so I gave up. Today I also purchased an extra small lash curler and it also works beautifully. As well, I went with your tip of applying lip liner all over your lips prior to lipstick and guess what?! I have not had to reapply lipstick all day. I was happy to be able to find the same products as you mentioned, as here in Australia we don't always have the products that you can purchase over there. Best wishes.
What a great tutorial! And your eyes look gorgeous! I love the eyeshadow look you are wearing today - minimalist but so beautiful! Would of course love a tutorial! We’ve had so much going on I’ve missed some of your videos so need to go back and watch! Our granddaughter is in your “neck of the woods” (as the old saying goes!) right now taking a course at UCLA! EXCELLENT, video, Sharalee. We appreciate your detailed information in your videos. I can truly say, I've learned a thing or two from you over the years. Thank you for sharing all of the makeup you used, especially the lip combo, in "What I'm Wearing" Lips description. That combo is a chef's kiss 💋 😘. Hi sharalee great video.Great hair colour too.Can you tell me what colours you have thru your hair as it looks so cute think I'd like them thru my platinum coloured hair x
Excellent video ! Sometimes I will lightly close my eyes after applying mascara on my top eyelashes so that top/bottom lightly touch & it will lightly coat my bottom eyelashes for a more natural look. All mascaras that I have tried even with eyeshadow primer, mascara primer, waterproof & tubing still manage to flake on me. Maybe one day I will discover a mascara that won't flake or smudge on me ❤😊❤
Thank you! I had no idea there were different sizes for eyelash curlers!!! Mine has never been quite right and now I know I can get one a bit bigger! 😊
I had no idea that just adding some shadow right at the lash line could actually make the eyes look a little bigger and darker, which is what I need. I've never used a lash primer but that might be my next step. I have very hooded eyes and I have an allergy to eye products in general. I'll start slow and work my way up. Thanks Sharalee for the great tips! Question: I'm still loving your nail polish color and I found it on Amazon - do you have a recommendation for a nail base and top coat?? Thanks again!! 🤔
You are lucky to have very long lashes. My lashes are medium longish, and I'm always looking for ways to make them appear longer. Every lengthening mascara I've tried clumps or flakes. I never tried a lash primer - so this is will be a new purchase. Fingers crossed. Thanks for all the tips and tricks.
Years ago I could make my lashes look like that, simply by using max factor comb on mascara... I use to love it.. and it smelt fabulous 🤩... Thank you for the video
I just started using an eyelash primer and I much prefer tinted or black primer vs white primer. I also use a waterproof mascara and heat my eyelash curler. Game changers! I easily remove my waterproof mascara before bed with coconut oil. Comes off easy peasy and conditions my lashes. Your tips are fabulous. We also want to know your lip colour. ❤
First, your hair is absolutely gorgeous; I just love this color on you! Okay, on to mascara....my BIG issue is the transfer onto my brow bone throughout the day due to my deep set eyes. I don't use shadow primer, maybe that would help. I do have tubing mascara which I don't use because as you said, the volumizing I get with it is underwhelming. The trick you suggest of topping the tips with it as a final step may be the magical solution. Thank you so much! Your lashes are 💫SPECTACULAR💫
Thank you! My lip combo is usually listed in the description below each video😘 In this video this is what I'm wearing: Natasha Denona "Julia" Lip Liner + Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH) "Taupe Beige" Lipstick + ABH "Goldy" Gloss
I always warm my metal eyelash curler with my blow dryer before curling my lashes. It only takes about 5sec to heat it enough. I test it on my wrist first to make sure it isn't too hot. It should feel warm, but not hot enough to burn you. This holds the curl all day!! Also, I either use tubing mascara, or the curliing mascara that has the tiny metal rod applicator. I get the brand "AMY'S DIARY CURLING MASCARA" off TEMU for less than $2 a tube. It is INCREDIBLE stuff!! It allows you to get the mascara right up into the root of the lashes, doesn't smudge or flake, and holds the curl all day!!❤❤❤❤
A detail eyelash curler is part of my makeup routine. You get somewhat of a winged eyeliner effect-AND, if you do a wing, you get not only more emphasis, but if your wing is a little wobbly (like mine 😂), you get a little help/disguise
Love your tips I'm always learning something from you. Im definitely going to get that little outer corner eyelash curler! Good job on all your videos.👍❤️

Beautiful as always, I love the outcome. I have very sensitive eyes though, and I cannot use shadow. How else can I do this? Also, for the lower lashes, I use the wind, not horizontal but vertical with the tip. This helps by not smudging the lashes and not getting mascara on skin…
Wow your eyes turned out absolutely stunning, I love how you explain everything, thank you so much for sharing ❤❤
Love your hair color. Do you do it at home? If so, can you share details? Thanks.
Just found your channel!!! I’d love to see a tutorial on your whole look here, just beautiful
Awww, thank you! Welcome to my channel💕
Some great tips...ive been using vasaline for as long as i can recall to remove my eyemakup....works incredibly
You really do have beautiful lashes. Thank you for the tips🎉😊❤
Honestly you look even more beautiful without any mascara ❤️
What a great tutorial! And your eyes look gorgeous! I love the eyeshadow look you are wearing today - minimalist but so beautiful! Would of course love a tutorial!
We’ve had so much going on I’ve missed some of your videos so need to go back and watch! Our granddaughter is in your “neck of the woods” (as the old saying goes!) right now taking a course at UCLA! Can’t believe in another year she’ll be off to college full time!
I ❤LOVE❤ the whole look. ❤ ya~Kimber(Your Austin, Texas Sister in Faith and Beauty)🙏🥰😘
I have used mascara primer for years, it’s a game changer for me! Thank you for some great tips! 😊🫶🏻❤️
I just love the way you did your eye liner 🤩🤩 your amazing instead of just wararing ,for myself I just used black eyeliner, love it girl
I personally fit hat letting your mascara dry completely then scratch gently with your nail or corner of tweezers or corner of any corner object takes smudges right off without removing anything you have done. 1st of ur kids I've seen and YOUR GORGEOUS GRL
What did you use on your brows for this video? Perfect for the new color! I want to try what you did to go with my hair
Years ago I could make my lashes look like that, simply by using max factor comb on mascara... I use to love it.. and it smelt fabulous 🤩... Thank you for the video
I remember that mascara!
@@karenpawlowskileahy1895 it worked fabulous 😍... Lol that's why it's no longer available..
Yes to the eyelash primer ❤
Your mascara tips are great! Can't wait to try them. Beautiful job! I am never that malicious but I will be now!
I appreciate your information. Do you have a less expensive makeup. I would like some affordable product that won’t break my budget.
Oops. Saw the lip combo in your description.
Great information. Now I know how to do eyeliner for hooded eyes. This makes so much sense1 Thank you!
Great tips. Thank you. I've always preferred a curled brush and they are harder to find anymore. Do you ever use a curved brush?
Great mascara tips. You were so thorough! Thank you!
Wow the most thorough and helpful video I’ve ever watched on mascara. And the most beautiful result. Thank you 🙏
Wow, thank you! So glad this was helpful💖
Great tips! Thank you! Can you also share what lipstick and color you're wearing? It's very pretty! Thank you.
Thank you! My lip combo is usually listed in the description below each video😘 In this video this is what I'm wearing:
Natasha Denona "Julia" Lip Liner + Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH) "Taupe Beige" Lipstick + ABH "Goldy" Gloss
Thanks for the great tips. I have a fairly decent eye lash curler but I really want to try a heated lash curler.
It allows you to get the mascara right up into the root of the lashes, doesn't smudge or flake, and holds the curl all day!!❤❤❤❤
I know you may have already showed us, but what do you use to remove your mascara? ♥️♥️
Your teeth are so beautiful and white! Do you use any specific products on your teeth?
A detail eyelash curler is part of my makeup routine. You get somewhat of a winged eyeliner effect-AND, if you do a wing, you get not only more emphasis, but if your wing is a little wobbly (like mine 😂), you get a little help/disguise
I have a question about your eyebrows. Can you tell me what color you use if you are having micro blading done
YOU are GORGEOUS ! love love love your make up 💕
Love your tips I'm always learning something from you. Im definitely going to get that little outer corner eyelash curler! Good job on all your videos.👍❤️
These are wonderful tips-thank you for sharing. Would also love to know what color(s)? you are using on your lips-SO pretty!
So glad you found this helpful! My lip combo is:
Natasha Denona "Julia" Lip Liner + Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH) "Taupe Beige" Lipstick + ABH "Goldy" Gloss
What do you use to get your teeth so white? thanks!
Thanks so much for the mascara tutorial -- it was very needed. Just found your channel today and subscribed because you're an excellent and thorough teacher. 😊
Welcome!!💕 So happy you found this helpful!
Excellent camera close up. You're beautiful inside & out. Thank you for helping us with these great tips. Gorgeous.
Love your video! Great knowledge & wonderful tips! Thank you❣️🥰
Can you list the Revlon liner that you like in place of the doll 10?
You’re lovely and rock short hair. Love all of your videos. Just wondering if you’ve tried the no mascara and very little shadow look on your lower lashes? I understand this makes the appearance of the eyes more open.
Great tutorial! Good hints and tricks. Lovely woman. Thank you.🎉❤
