    Great video Yan.
    Lazy reporting and punditry explains it all. Even more shocking are the so called Chelsea fan youtube creators who act as if they know everything going on at the club, love telling everyone what the club/players/owners should do but yet appear to think Boehly is making all decisions and the owner.

    I kind of get the impression that G. Nev wants Clearlake to become Glazer type figures. He focuses on Boehly because everybody else does. The fact that Clearlake and the Glazers bear no real resemblance to each other is neither here nor there to him. The Glazers are American and so is Todd Boehly, QED.

    I appreciate the effort to explore this ownership and find out the inner workings. Fact is Bohely has the only link to sports teams in the group, that I'm aware of, hence why he was the front man initially I believe. I still stand by the idea that if this was not an American ownership, we would not head as much bitching in the fan base and on these "fan channels".. There would be more call for patience or whatever. We shall wait and see how things ultimately play out, but if this plan as slow and painful as it been works out.. I can't wait to hear all these other channels jump on the wagon

    BLUECO - Yan. Next topic. What's going on there? Strasbourg fans also not happy with their league position - very similar problems with the club stripping away experienced players and having an 'under 23' squad model. Will Chelsea continue with this transfer model in the Summer ? Is this what their 'PROJECT' is all about? Will they recognise, that for the blues to climb up to a respectable league position, get into and do well in Europe, you can't just rely on kids all the time? ...

    Boehly has been placed as the face behind the chelsea ownership, a bold move from an american to put your face on the front, especially to a British audience so I firmly believe that he doesnt care about his own reputation and wants to see what things work in the sport, what doesnt, where the club need to strenghten, where he can build relationships and grow the business and I respect that. Clearlake on the other hand, seemingly the ones with the final say in everything have no idea about the sport and couldnt care what the team is doing on the pitch and I think thats where the problems lie, they would have been informed last summer that a out and out goal scoring striker is what the club is missing, having that results would improve and they looked at the business side of it, how old a striker that will score you goals would be, how much wages they would demand and how none of it fits into the new philosophy and they settled on a young striker that can also play out left and that isnt demanding high wages and is under 25 and that was in great goal scoring form in a completive league in Jackson. lets not forget we brought in Poch.. in the summer that Harry Kane was available to leave spurs.. I strongly believe one of Poch's first words when walking through the door was "get Harry Kane." but he didnt fit in with any of the philosophies they were trying to implement

    • @afern_05
      @afern_05 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      And you REALLY believe Daniel Levy would sell Harry Kane to his top EPL rival or to ANY top EPL club for that matter? Or that Harry Kane would say yes to the move after being at Spurs for so long? There's a reason the only place Harry could go was OUT of the EPL. This isn't a video game.
      We all followed the Kane saga and at NO time was Harry himself even considering Chelsea. SMH!

    • @MrMickeyyy89
      @MrMickeyyy89 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@afern_05 is that why he's building a home minutes from the bridge? :) and he started the home while at Tottenham. Chelsea and Tottenham have done business before and players have played for both clubs without much backlash from fans. Eidur gudjohnsen, carlo cudicini, Scott parker, Jimmy greaves, gus poyet, Glenn hoddle, terry enables, William gallas.. There's been a lot :) not all directly moving between the 2 clubs but kane wasn't even considered last summer dispite Poch knowing the player well and Chelsea missing a key striker. We weren't even linked with him, perhaps levy wouldnt have sold to a Premier league rival but until the 2 owners sit down for talks you don't know that. My point was because of our new owners, who don't know about the sport that option wasn't even considered

    • @myearsgotyouthsystem8802
      @myearsgotyouthsystem8802 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I agree if Boehly and stupid Eghbali visited D. Levi with a £100m for Kane, talks would've began.

    • @afern_05
      @afern_05 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@myearsgotyouthsystem8802 we can all believe what we want but the reality is different. I believe I can fly but I won't test that off a cliff. Let's be realistic and stop looking for delusional ways to make ourselves feel better.
      Daniel Levy wouldn't even sell Harry to Man City when they went calling a couple of summers ago. There's no way under this sun he would sell Kane to his direct London rivals. The Spurs fan base would skin him alive. Are we forgetting when Levy said he would rather run down Harry's contract than sell him to Chelsea?
      Let's not act like we don't have the ability to research these things. Boehly and Co have NO fault for Harry Kane not coming here.

    • @afern_05
      @afern_05 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MrMickeyyy89 that's all conjecture and subjective reasoning. You can't argue something based on an assumed premise. Let's discuss what the facts were at the time and as they are now. The reason Blue Co didn't sit to discuss Kane is because Levy said this particular transfer wasn't going to happen - full stop.
      Where Harry chooses to build his home is irrelevant. If he wanted to come to Chelsea, he would have said so and made it happen by rejecting the Bayern move in favor of a Chelsea approach. We were always linked with him (the news reports are there).
      The business that the two clubs have done in the past are nothing compared to selling your talisman and all time scorer to your direct rivals. Would any of us have entertained the idea of Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard, Eden Hazard or John Terry (in their prime) being sold to Spurs? Hell no! The fan base would have revolted.
      Again... we can critique Blue Co for a lot of other things but in this, we have to be reasonable. They are without blame.
