    Brilliant review and parts list, I've look at a few bikes, bought a 2014 ER6F, white with 3000 miles, would have liked the green put I decided ABS must come first. Only got to pass my test next week, fingers crossed.

      good luck on the test, it's a cracking bike. Would not buy a bike without ABS these days.

      I'm loving the bike, I still can't believe that I passed with only 1 minor fault. I going for a long run on it today. What I want to ask you, what chain lube do you use or advice, I've had a google but there's loads to choose. Cheers

      On my 125 I started out with just normal lube but found up this end of the world with the amount of rain we get you would have to put it on almost every ride, then switched to chain wax but that was messy. On this bike I got a Scotoiler which automatically lubes the chain for you. My life has been far simpler. Still have to clean the chain tho. Got a review on the Scotoiler coming out tomorrow morning on my channel so keep a look out.

    Just bought one brand new for a great deal (due to new models coming next year). Have the tail tidy, passenger seat cover and heated grips on it. In red. Pick it up next Saturday =) When I get some more cash I'll change the exhaust.

      Congrats man, it's a really good bike. I don't think the new one looks much different apart from the graphics but I assume it will also be down on power due to euro regs too.

    • @olivierhansen626
      @olivierhansen626 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well the new ninja 650 looks totally different to be honest. And way better. But anyway the er6f/n is good anyway

    • @MotoJoshing
      @MotoJoshing  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Moto Joshing went and took another look you are indeed right lots of improvements. Less power tho.

    • @draiguk
      @draiguk 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the new one looks better, at least I think so, but has dropped a bit of power to meet the new EU regs.
      However, that also means dealers are looking to get rid of any 2016 models. I got mine brand new, for £5,000, with interest free credit also. That's over a grand off. Not a deal you can pass by easily when looking for a good 650. I'll keep it for about 2 years then trade it in I would think, I'll see how I get on with it and let you know.

    Honda vs kawasaki, yeah the finance is great, the honda is awesome also, but the deciding factor for me which you did also mention, and probably the most important thing, the kawasaki is GREEN!!!

    • @MotoJoshing
      @MotoJoshing  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah couldn't agree more I got 0% Finance and Team green for sure!

    Nice bike & video. I'm also thinking to get a used one for myself. I don't feel like "spending" money on my first bike. The only think I don't like on twin cyl bikes is engine noise. Does it feel heavy while riding or not?

    • @MotoJoshing
      @MotoJoshing  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      The noise is crap with the standard can but the scorpion sings wonderfully. Bike is a bit heavy feeling to push e.g parking/reversing but once you have the engine on and are going it's super light and agile.

      Thank you. I can't wait to get the licence and start riding.

    what`s the minimum height you recomend for this bike?

    • @MotoJoshing
      @MotoJoshing  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Lucien, Only just seen this message i have a 30 inside leg and I can flat foot it so its defo good for the shorties.

    do you know anything about those hard cases in the back(for the luggage)? are they optional? where can i find those?

    • @MotoJoshing
      @MotoJoshing  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe you can get them from Kawasaki directly as add-ons but they would be expensive, I would suggest Givi or Touratech would be a tad less pricy.

    • @RyanB0306
      @RyanB0306 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it's very low down for midrange sports bike. Approx 31 inch seat height vs the normal 33 inches. Even at 5'9 I can put my feet down flat...

    is the er6f 2010 model good cause i might buy one soon for 4k with only 6000km on it?

    • @MotoJoshing
      @MotoJoshing  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure on the pre 2012's but they were very popular but I think you could get something younger for that money.
