The r1 is a completely different bike, this is a lower cc for fun and commuting, the r1 is full sports race bike. Other end of the scale. Perfect entry for beginners in to the world of bikes. Compare the er6f to the likes of the gsr600, fz6, Ducati 650 monster and similar machines. This is a very good machine and rates high with anyone who rides it
@KDumles The ER6F consumes a little more that the ninja because it is 650cc and not 250cc the ER can go usually up to 220km/h but it's acceleration is much faster than the 250 Ninja that can only go up to 160km/h
