    That was good review/impression mate. I’d consider a Versys 650 even more comfortable than the ER6F, depends if you want or need somthing with more power & torque but to be honest 70 bhp is enough for the road.

      Thanks for watching! Versys 650 is a good shout, they seem like good bikes and still very affordable. I'd be tempted to get a Yamaha Tracer 700 instead though!

      Thanks for watching! 🤩 I’m thinking a 2011 - 2013 Honda CBR600F. Really would like to try a 4 cylinder next! 🏍️

      @@WheelzonWheelsYou'll be horrified by the lack of mid range on the CBR😅 I've just picked up a 2006 er6f and my previous bike was a 2017 cb650f and the old er absolutely murders the cb for usable midrange. The cb was a good bike, but even though the cb has longer stroke version of the cbr motor, it was still total crap until about 8k rpm. I've been riding for 25 years since I got a moped a 16 and I've had sports bikes, rented harleys in the US, had dirtbikes, etc, and this er6 is one of my faves for ripping up the mountain roads here in Scotland. The zx6r i owned had me going everywhere at 130+ when I wanted ro give it a good thrash, and there really is no need for that on the road. With the ER i can use the lovely midrange to make decent exits from corners, and even when I'm really going for it i rarely bother going over 100.
      TLDR; If you like the flexibility of this fabulous ER6 motor, I'd steer clear of the 600 4 cylinder bikes.(Maybe with the exception of water cooled bandit/gsx650, they apparently have half decent midrange) I'd recommend looking at more midrange focused bikes like tracer 900, CBF1000, bandit1250, bmw f800, Suzuki's new gsx8r or gsx1000gt, kawasaki ninja 1000sx, etc.
      Deary me, i do tend to bang on a bit😅 Great review bud

      @@ewganhoff amazing insight! I had no idea about any of that, although I knew the top end is where the power is on the small 4 cylinders.
      I’ve got another video coming out soon about my possible next bike choices, but this has made me rethink those choices to be honest! 🤔
      Thanks for watching 😊

    Another great vid, do you have a bike recommendation for cbt licence?

    • @WheelzonWheels
      @WheelzonWheels  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Anything light with as close to 14HP as possible! My 125 was 9HP and I regretted it almost immediately as it was painfully slow.

    I bought my er6f ABS 08 last year. It had 14000km and given that it was 15yo, it was in perfect condition barely any rust for only €3K. I do agree with the exhaust, it does not sound great from factory and i also don't like the sound of the plastic vibrating against the other plastic, i solved it just like you with some padding. But for me it happens at certain RPMS 1500-2500.
    That being said, i love the bike. It is very enjoyable to ride, it runs smooth goes fast enough for me and its nimble. And Honestly I like how the Japanse are very meticulous with assembling a bike and making sure everything is correct before sending it out, I would always go for Japanese brands when it comes to reliability.

      @WheelzonWheels  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Totally agree with the Japanese reliability, the build quality difference between this and my last bike which was Chinese is immense!
      Glad you're enjoying your bike 😊 Do you have an after-market exhaust too?
      Thanks so much for watching!

      No exhaust yet, wanted to wait after i got my A license, which i passed last thursday! any recommendations for exhaust that are decent quality in material and sound which i don't need to sell a kidney for? :p

    Hey brother, we have the same bike, mine is an '06!
    I hear ya about the rattling, have you gone through a dyno and reprogramming? Because I am pretty sure after changing the exhaust and/or air filter the fuel/air mixture must be off and that usually ends ups badly for the valves!!
    Enjoy my friend, always upright!!

    • @WheelzonWheels
      @WheelzonWheels  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hey there, thanks for watching dude! Yikes, I didn't really think about remapping after fitting the exhaust! I'll look into that for sure. The butt dyno says it's faster though 😝
      Appreciate it, ride safe! 😊
