Being an Indian, I would first take a look in entire shop, then pick up atleast 8-10 dresses for trial and "i" would decide what suits me...

Thank god, I found someone who had the courage to straight away tell the entourage that it's not your wedding, it's my wedding. Urgh!! it was so soothing to the ears.
I do not think the friends were being forceful in any mean way to the bride about the blush tone dress for her to state that it was her wedding and not theirs, it was very pretty and I got the impression that the fit on her waistline was not flattering (she was covering up) which she did not mention. the higher waistlines of the brighter colours fit her better.
I don't understand this attitude, unless someone is truly pushy and rude. I didn't see that here. I assume that bride brings along people she loves and values their opinion. To me it's rude to ask people to take their time to come along with you in order to give their opinion and then to tell them off once they do.
@@jadea.2694 The friend on the right was almost pushing her, that's when she said it. I know in this case it wasn't so intense, but this problem exists in most cases.

Not really, I thought it was pretty fucking rude actually. Her friend was just being positive and telling her that she really loved the lengha ? To be honest I found every single lengha ugly on her tbh, but the last one was slightly redeeming (still the embroidery wasn't very appealing).

I know Nina did not like the second dress but it was sooooo beautiful on her. I would have loved to see the second dress in her preferred color. I love the addition of jewelry this season. This show has become one of my new guilty pleasures
That second dress I also loved it.. Hope we get to see another bride choosing if. It was delicate and elegant.

I totally agree. The work on it was beautiful. It was delicate, blingy and sophisticated. she even asked the bride if she wanted to see the same embellishment but in a brighter pink. I think the bride just didn't understand her question because the bride said, I love work on it and on the tassels but she didn't say yes to the question. I think the brighter pink did look better on her but the 2nd Lehenga had the best embellishment work on it.
@@sewforlife5728 i was thinking, "surely they have a more blingy dress in the brighter pink?" The first three they pick out are supposed to be a starting point, but the brides don't usually stray from those. I know they could have edited out some others, but it would be nice to see an example of someone going through several dresses.

Honestly, if I were the bride, I wouldn't ask shia to go fetch me 3 dresses she thinks will work for me. I'll personally see all the collection and pick and choose. I bet there were so many better dresses in that shop which the bride never could have a look at. I mean why use jewelry to add the missing bling? You should wear jewelry because you like the jewelry with the dress, not because it will help fill a void in the dress. Y have a dress with not enough bling when you can have tens of options with so much bling!
She had restricted time which also means restricted sizes. Ssves time and headaches if they choose 3 to start.
I found all of the dresses ugly in this episode, the first one looked awful, the second one looked like something someone else would wear and didn't have a bridal aesthetic. The last one didn't have nice embroidery but the colour was redeeming.

To a point I agree with you, but seeing it from a production side, In the first episodes she always said that the first 3 are just to see what they like so she would know what direction they should go to (I don't really know as much about the traditional wear from India, but i do know a bit about garment construction and production) . Like even if the 3 dresses don't work, they can help with finding something they would like (color, shape, detailing). Shia also does do a lot of custom pieces so in case she realizes she has nothing that the bride would actually like in stock it can save a lot of time by going straight for a custom piece. This show also has a bit of a time limit for productiom situations. The jewelry bit... Well I feel like it can work both ways? I just think that it depends on the bride, but I think that jewelry can help to finish the look overall and since she did have a time frame situation like was mentioned it did add a pop to it.
Like the show, however if I was the bride, I'd want to look at the dresses and select ones I liked. I wouldn't want someone to pick only a few they thought I'd like, and leave me just with those few options.
Appreciate more shots of the dress, but do we need all the commentary from each friend?

The jewelry looks like something you can get off the streets of india for 1000 rupees. The kundan is fake plastic and looks cheap. They are over pricing the accessories

it felt like the bride settled for that dress--it definitely didn't have the bling factor that she seemed to be looking for
I don't think so. When my daughter was shopping for her dress, she had a very distinct vision in mind for cut and style. But once she got that on her body discovered she didn't like the way it looked on her. Through trial and error of narrowing down what she did or didn't like about each dress she tried on, we found the "one". It was not what she would have initially picked only because you don't always know how something will look on until you try it on. They only show 3, it's very likely she tried on more than that that helped narrow things down.

I think a dusty pink or brighter pink color would have been perfect with the style of the second dress. Loved the jewelry!

Blush pink can differ. She really should look for the blush pink a tone darker. Then it wouldn't wash her out.

I adored seeing the jewelry selection in this episode. I'm of European descent (I be a pale, white woman!) and I am enjoying this show so much! I even have my room mate hooked. As beautiful as western white dresses can be, I am loving seeing the colors, fabric and the faces of the brides when they find *their* dress. The jewelry is so lovely to pair with this outfit.
I love the tradition and how elaborate their weddings are. Where we wear White mostly. My bf laughed when i told him im wearing a lengha for our wedding...i dint get how u pick just 1. They r all lovely

The second one, pink blush one, gives me Poo vibes in K3G! I would wear it as a guest to a wedding tho 😂 most of nazraana outfits look like guest outfits to me

@@anupama2620 nah it’s because here in the US, we don’t go overboard and I don’t mean this is in a bad way but that even the bling dresses are low key compared to dresses in India that the bride wears. Also those dresses would be EXTREMELY expensive here. The weddings are also more tame and low key compared to how big it is in India. Not saying that the weddings here aren’t big affairs but just not as extreme as is it there. To me the second lehenga looks super sparkly and blingy and something I would wear as a bride. Can’t imagine anything more sparkly than that to wear as a bride. What do brides wear over there in India? Really curious what type of dresses are worn and what material it usually is
This series is so much better, I think there is a little too much narrating about opinions because they say it in the clip already. But I truly love this series.

I love the addition of the jewelry try on, its so cool as a non Indian to see more of what goes into the whole wedding look. I’m glad this series has less drama now and more shots of the gorgeous outfits. Sha’s shop seems to be really seeing some success from the show and I’m really happy for her and her crew!
To be honest, the blue on the third dress is hardly visible. I don't know why everyone is stressing so much that it pops out and it's first and instantly noticeable. Honestly the whitish dress was the most elegant. She could have added the highlights of red to it with jewelry and embellishments

I think I kind of agree with the bride about washing her out. I think the shade of blush was just a little too light. I would have liked to see her in a slightly darker blush just to see. But I could see the blue in the third one 🤷🏽♀️. I liked the blue jewelry with it. Still the whitish dress had the bling 🤑
The blush was too pale for a hindu Punjabi wedding and the color didn’t compliment her skin tone. The one she chose was perfect for the occasion and she looked stunning.

Personally (as someone who’s Indian) i think it’s kind of odd and cultural appropriation to wear a lengha if you’re not Indian or if your husband isn’t of south Asian descent. There’s cultural and religious significance associated with our clothing.

I'm not Indian but I've done my entire ceiling like a Genie bottle with thrifted pieces from thrift stores in the Indian neighborhood so I get to enjoy the beautiful work and think about the history that was behind each of the pieces

I love them showing jewellery on the brides!!! it makes the bride more confident with the dress just like how a veil would make a bride feel more special here in the desi culture, jewellery makes bride more confident if i do say so myself. Jewellery should 110% be more talked about and given the choice to be put on more especially when the bride loves the dress but is just confused with it!!
The 2nd necklace was perfect with the dress. The pearls from the first looked so lost and sorta washed out against the pink of the dress. So a great choice for the bride to pick the 2nd necklace.

I absolutely love this video. I really loved that they added jewelry selection to the episodes. I’m not Indian but I love the culture and the collections of lehengas and sauries (sorry for the spelling) and I love that they do wedding photos at the end.

I love the dress Nina chose for HER Wedding! I loved that they added the jewelry selection to this episode also, it made it so much better. I've had enough of the "side shows" on the sofa. On a side note...Shia looks amazing without her glasses. She's looking much more confident too. I'm happy to see it. LOVE this show.
The second dress was so beautiful, especially after she gets her bridal makeup and henna done, it would have been such a beautiful look

I totally agreed with the bride that the second dress, while gorgeous, it washed her out terribly. I was a little disappointed that slightly darker shades of pale pink weren't brought out to her. That second dress looked very white; not blush. And that blouse cut did nothing for her. I'm so glad she chose the third 'Bubble Gum' pink dress!
I like the 2nd dress, the colour was subtle and I feel it matches her complexion, however im, not the one getting married 😀😀. Put us in our place 😄. I love these dresses, not sure if they will suit me lol. Friends were very interactive and weren't afraid to give their opinions. It's a👍🏼 up for me this week...keep the videos coming. 🤗

I'm so glad to see a new season of Nazranaa Diaries. I'm not Indian but the beautiful dresses and the selection process are so gorgeous and interesting.
I love how knowledgeable, skilled, and composed every person involved with this beautiful store is. I also really respect and appreciate that they made their show centered around their store. Had TLC create the show it would be all about drama and sassy sound bites, but these people are above that.
They don't compromise their morals or values. And the best part of this store and show is the garments. It's the artistry and embroidery.

The blush gown was AMAZING, and I kept hoping that Shia would ask if she wanted to change some of the embroidery with a darker pink shade to give it more color.
Both of these brides were given so much time and respect in selecting the right bridal attire and in the one case even the jewelry that was a perfect match with her gown. I’m so glad the bride went in thinking she wanted a blush dress I had the sense to know that it was not the right color for her and picked a match Boulder pink and she looked so stunning. Both couples looked amazing on your wedding day. These two who work at Nazrannah Brides could not be replaced by ANYONE WHO DOES A BETTER JOB IN HELPING THE BRIDE & GROOM SELECT THEIR ATTIRE❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️Shia is a wonderful consultant in assisting Not only the bride but the families in being very happy finding the right bridal gown. She listens so very well and make sure that what she hears them saying she repeats back to them so that they know she hears them. She also brings in many choices to try on if they’re not happy with the first selection but usually one of the first three is what a bride will select she does such an excellent job of listening and understanding what you’re looking for. The girls in the shop are of amazing quality and hand made beauty and believes that nothing compares in my opinion

When the told the first dress is more like a reception dress, I was like, no if talking typically the second dress is the spot on reception dress because it is an evening look and the first one is the wedding dress, because here we prefer more bright color in weddings and shimmery shinny colors in receptions.
The second dress is not flattering on her but the third dress is just perfect

I think your options are much more interesting & much more spectacular than traditional white western wedding gowns. And thank you for including the jewelry in this video. I worried for her not getting the amount of bling and, like some people said, that she may have been settling but I think the added jewelry really helped. Indian clothing is so amazingly beautiful and the way the color compliments her skin tone is just stunning!
I liked it when the bride stood on for her decision of not going for blush lehenga even though her entourage were convincing her to go for that, but I liked the first jewellery set though.
