I agree. It feels really unfair that I am white and expected to wear white or ivory because Queen Victoria made it popular. However, I assume that would be stealing from another culture and offend some people. Beautiful Dresses. If I was much, much younger and had a gentleman in my life and of the right nationality...I would have loved wearing a wedding dress and the dresses used throughout these ceremonies. I enjoy being nontraditional when it comes to what I wear when I get married. Love this show.

I love your shows, and seeing the pictures of the bride and groom after makes it so much more fun than other bridal shows. keep up the good work.
I thought...finally...some Gujju representation on this show! However, I'm so so disappointed! =( The 1st "gujju" choice is just straight up disappointing. Garchola's and panetars are beautiful woven silk/batik fabrics with work. Just cuz that dress was white/red/green does NOT make it a panetar. It was just a red/white/green lengha. There are gorgeous bandhani duppatta options in India, vs. the plain tissue duppatta with these outfits. Just overall disappointed in this show for Gujju bridal options that want to keep somewhat traditional and don't wanna do the all red with tissue duppatta. Think Isha Ambani...blinged out lengha with a gorgeous bandhani garchola that was both traditional but also modern in its own way. So many fabulous designers out there...Mayyur Girotra, etc. that give Gujju brides more options. Especially due to Covid, options to travel to India are nonexistent at this time. Unfortunately, as fun as this show is, it streamlines Indian bridal wear into one boring look in different colors. You should showcase other gorgeous fabrics/weaves/trends of India and try to show the depth available out there. This fools the general American audience into thinking they are seeing what Indian bridal wear is...when this show doesn't even skim the surface of the options out there...misrepresentation is all I gotta say. Although, it is a fun show...kinda like an Indian version of Say Yes to the Dress. Shia is very pretty and Shashank is a cutie!
