bridezilla say yes to the dress realitytv bridal lehenga - บันเทิง
Non indians in the comment section: omggg this is so nice. I wish i could go there.
Indians: THIS IS OVERPRICED, TACKY AND OLD FASHIONED
I've been noticing that too, haha.
Man! ..that's soooo expensive ,you can buy 4 more better looking and totally worth the price... definitely very old fashioned
True
That‘s because we (non Indians) have no idea what is trendy in India. 😅 This is our reference.
@@Dancewithpallavi are there any other TV shows like this that you'd recommend?
Did anyone else just stop what they were doing when they saw, ruhee,in the first light pink outfit?
Even if not for her wedding, she just looked breathtaking. Literally. So beautiful for her complexion.
Ya the pink one was best! Too bad she didn't get it
Reading the comment section, just to validate my thought. And yes, i find one. She looked amazing in the first pink golden dress...
She looked so gorgeous
YES SHE LOOKING F***ing STUNNINGGGGGGGGGGGG. Looked so good. But honestly she looked really good in all the dresses she tried. She has not only a very pretty face but a very pretty soul! One of my favs on the show so far for sure
The pink one was definitely the prettiest, and she just seemed to glow in it! It’s sad SHE was not allowed to chose what she wanted.
American Indians are weirdly more conservative than actual Indians 😂 just an observation . In India Hindu brides atleast from where I am wear a neckline that deep(it's not even deep really) and it's not an issue
Omg for real! Our parents become so overly strict when they leave India!
This is 100% true. Indians in the US are way more conservative, especially the ones that got here in the 70’s.
Hmm, not in South India🙈however I agree with the concept, when people leave their Homeland, they are stuck in a certain time and think that's their origins, roots, whereas the Homeland moves on with time......maybe that's why
so hypocritical
Not in South india
I don't know why the comments are so negative. It's a beautiful show and the dresses are beautiful too! ❤ and if the bride and the family is happy I don't see a point in everyone criticizing every little thing about it. I never feel Shia has ever been rude to any customer in fact I think she really thinks of her customer. It's all just unnecessary hate over here calm down peeps.
I agree
People are just ugly
At 20:02 the mommy said i ll pay for both dont be sad ,that felt like the most soothing line a kid can ever hear 🥰
17:55 I respect the mother and sister for standing up for a tradition that they dont follow and wanting to respect it for the grooms sake. Mad respect for them.
Yes that was sweet
Yes 100%. I was so moved by that.
Agreed!!
Yes! They knew the importance of the bride looking appropriately dressed for the groom’s event. That burgundy color was so pretty against her skin tone.
Shivangi needs to keep her opinions to herself. Nobody is just gonna leave their culture cause they live in the West.
Agreed
Yeah when she said this is America and showing a bit of cleavage is fine I was like it's so not fine is our culture 😒 yes groom may not be Indian but family is and so is the girl. Her mom is right. You need to bend and it won't look good if she is showing cleavage
She was just trying to side with the bride. She really liked it. That's why .
yeah right
I feel she was siding with the bride when she said this. Which was sweet, because you could tell the bride loved the lighter pink one.
Shia is so good at her job. She helps with such knowledge of her inventory and seems to pick just the right outfits. 🌺
mother: “My name is yasmine”
SHIVANGI: “that’s such a beautiful name jasmine 🤦♀️🤦♀️
I Literally was thinking the exact same thing!!!
because she become shia she becomes bad with names
Lol
I dont like her attitude too, look at english randy, lori and others on the show they are so kind and warm.
😂😂😂
Good eye to her friend for seeing the one that was hanging up for her and extremely supportive and respectful in her choice of style! I loved this episode :-)
The burgundy dress for the second bride was one of the most beautiful dresses I have seen on the show. The champagne dress was beautiful too, but the burgundy was the winner by far in my opinion.
Champagne made her look dull in my opinion
My feelings have been validated. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thinks the sales lady is rude and insensitive towards the bride and her party. The way she talks isn't really polite and definitely rude.
Hey! be kind to shivangi! she is new to this and learning her way around talking more spontaneous without being bothered by the camera staring at her. I'm sure if we are put on spot, we too will feel intimidated and watchful of what we speak.
She has been in the show for the lat 5 years..by this time she may have already learnt quite a bit.. 🤷♀️
The owner is really rude!
Had it been me, I would walkout of there due to that attitide.
The producers should definitely work on this!
Exactly.... Its their choice the girl needs suggestion and thats y she has got her parent ryt.. Shia who was shivangi at some point do rudr
I think you said the exact same thing on another video
@@RDCFemmes I must really not like the host lol 😂
Aayan Wani think you’re the one who needs to learn it
I don't understand how you can own a store that caters to asian wedding clothing and then not give sympathy to peoples cultural values :/
M J lol for real
Yess i agree
The first blouse was not too low cut though. But the sales lady or store owner was rude AF.
uh... She's sticking up for the bride and accommodating HER and not her mother. She acted correctly.
@@soniasohi5013 what are you babbling about?
The first dress was gorgeous it makes her face shine more she was more happy... I would choose the first in champagne color 🥰
In both cases the mom's were too opinionated and could have been gentler with their girls. I'm really really thankful my mom was so supportive with my wedding outfit, she never questioned me once on my choice and if there was some part of the Outfit she didn't like, she actually gave me alternate options to try which I ended up liking even better. My main wedding outfit was what me and my dad both loved. I had a total of 3 main outfits and they were all custom made.
Ags HHS as add HDDs a GDSGG add a
You are blessed in that 1) you have a mom who cares enough to participate, and 2) cares enough about you to support you.
As an aged white woman I think these bridal outfits are stunning and I love the way the groom is co-ordinated. There are lots of comments here about them being outdated and overpriced, in India they are probably cheaper it it a completely different country the western style white wedding dress varies greatly in price from country to country. The big difference for me is the abundance of colour in an Indian wedding, personally I think colour promotes enjoyment and celebration and the groom is dressed in a way that includes him in the celebration, in the UK is usual for the groom to be in a sensible suit and the bride in a white dress kudos to those people who are happy that way but I feel once you’ve seen one sweetheart neckline you’ve seen them all. I would have loved nothing more than to celebrate my wedding with myself & the groom wearing traditional Indian wedding clothing.
My Polish grandmother was a seamstress. In fact she made wedding dresses.
I absolutely LOVE the embroidery on these dresses. I love the colors. I honestly just love looking at them.
My grandmother taught me the habit of feeling material. If it didn't feel good to her hand, she wouldn't use it. I really wish I could feel those dresses.
I feel brides should actually come to india/pak for dress fittings
It’s quite shocking to see that one blouse can’t be made in 10 days.
yusra saquib Their outfits are sourced out of India. Although Shivangi designs and shops for the store in India. There is no chance, that the same matching fabric to make a new blouse could be made their and wouldn't arrive in time for the wedding with consideration of alterations
What is shocking is there is no margin of space which needs to be there
People get married in less than a month in India without issues. Id rather do that
I totally agree with you
Why is shia so rude. Just because they are in “america” and the guy is a different ethnicity doesn’t mean that they should just forget their own culture. If the neck is too deep for them that’s their own personal taste.
Nida I agree 100%
Agree.." end of the world "....was ruuude
Exactly just coz ur in america she expects people to act according to their tradition
Exactly. They are conservative so ofcourse a deep neck is a no. Even if the groom isn't Indian the family is and she has to bend in rituals so it would show more cleavage than when she is just standing. Ofcourse it would look inappropriate. I'm from a gujarati culture too. So I understand the mom point of view. Also if her duppatta wasn't as see through it would have been a bit more ok so blouse wouldn't have been a problem as duppatta covers it up
@@pinkheart315 shivangi who now claims to be shia is soo rude... Our culture be it indian muslim or hindu everybody knws that tradition matters during our wedding and thats something we need to preserve and teach our kids contrary to which this female is making faces and acting rude
Why does SHIA sound like she is constantly holding in a cough?????????
She may well have spasmodic dysphonia. Sufferers of the disorder have gravelly voices that may break while they're speaking. Treatment may help some folks, but it's generally a lifelong condition.
I want to be a Nazranna bride!
All of the gowns and outfits are magnificent!
I have to say, having watched several episodes from different seasons so far, all the outfits for both the men and the women are just stunning! Everyone looks amazing in their choices.
I always think the same but I'm already married over 40 years but a girl can dream.
@@vivienmcnaul109 I hear you!
The first dress with that light blush was perfect. And it wasn’t even revealing
Why do i love this so much!!!! im not Hindu im not getting married to one im not getting married at all i don't even have a boyfriend!! Oh yeah the whole being gorgeous thing😍😍😍😍😍 i love it!!!!!👏👏👏can watch this all day❤❤❤
Burgandy on second bride looks amazing! So beautiful!
There are a few things that need to be sorted, (like the lighting) but i really hope there will be a season 2 straight after this one!! i really like this show!
This is season 2
Ruhee is so stunning like she literally looks so cute 😍😍😍
Lol they have just two pink lehengas in their stores 😂 poor bride she had to compromise
I think it depends on the client budget as well.
For real in 'wedding season' at that
I think it was because of the size...they did not have enough bigger size lehengas in stock🤔🤔
10 days??? To find a lehenga
Its just because there is a 10 day time line
Much prefer the format of the first episodes from a few years ago, the new style just seems to staged, and scripted.
ILIUS totally agree with you
The whole format is very stiff and contrived.
I love the bling & embroidery on all your wedding dresses ♥️ The bride's mum is very sweet. The bride was very beautiful ❤️
The faces Shia makes while talking to her customers disgusts me! She can be a little more gentle, kind and accomodating!
Anisha Kalra I literally thought the same.
She's horrible! She only wants to make the sale.
She was nicer before but now..
@@fisoa1344 true
Tami J. Wallace Absolutely agree
They got chairs for the parents finally!! Please don’t throw the dresses on the floor to showcase them to clients!! There should be a hangers/ fluffy cloth underneath to show the new lehenga!
Also let the client pull out her style from the store then based on her pulls find out similar once’s within the price point
i feel the guy who shows the men suits is so comfortable hosting clients and is genuinely good, with shiaa it's not as fun it becomes really stiff and awkward.
Love him!
Everyone needs a friend like Nija and Alisha's mom and sister are so
Oh my god.. Shia at 6:48 kinda really annoyed me. What's it to her? Some people are always going to be Conservative be it India or America... I really don't think she had the right to judge.
but come on though that was not low cut such an exaggeration. Like cleavage bitch where
@@Pinksparklees me personally i dunt think its that low cut. But i can see my family say the same thing as her mum. Like wen she bend to touch legs or do Pooja, she will have to lean forward and then the cleavage will be seen. Like i said, her mum is conservative, that's her thinking... Its not gonna change no matter wer she is. I just didn't like shia commenting and judging on that family's(mother's) conservative culture. That's all.
@@indusu5637 Exactly. It may not seem such a low cut but when bending and sitting down it would show a lot of cleavage. Also as her mom said if the duppatta wasn't see through it would have worked as the duppatta would cover it but since it was see through that was not an option. Honestly I feel the bright red was better as the pale pink made her look dull
What bothers me about the comment is, she sounds like she's defending herself for why she pulled this 1st dress for the bride. The whole format of coming back to each of them and having them recap what they just said once again, is annoying.
Shia - just because someone lives in the US and is marrying a non-Indian, doesn’t mean you leave your values or traditions behind. I was quite surprised by such a comment, especially from someone working in this industry.
LOL MOMENT
Mother of bride: My name is Yasmin.
SHIVANGI turned SHIA: oh that’s such a pretty name JASMIN 😂😂😂
Mother of bride: mumbles and shakes her head 😏
Sasha Ray 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂LOL
🤣🤣
Exactly! 😂😂😂
The white champagne dress is stunning on the bride! All dresses are so gorgeous!
Shivangi in the first episode was so lovely. She smiled and just looked like she had more personality. Idk why she changed in these episodes.
She got some money, you see that belt lol
I always get so excited when an episode is posted
I love this show. As a total white Westerner the concept of the linga or sari is so interesting
The look is really different and beautiful. I love the idea of getting married in colors not white.
Most of the clothes here are SO tacky and UGLY, and lol, the hug at the end of every episode and that "Are u ready to be a nazraana bride" are totally cringe. And the atmosphere is always so awkward.
Omg so true, all dresses are so ugly and so outdated, this designer doesn’t know anta our latest trends. And on top the acting is cringe worthy
I love this show so much, thanks for making it! :)
That last lehenga was gorgeous! I love the flare of the skirt and the color Is everything
Shiwangi (now somehow shia) decides for people and if they don’t go with it, she’s just like
“sHowIng SomE CleAvaGe isN’t ThE eND of tHe wOrlD”.
She’s so mean to everyone. People have preferences.
Zari Abedi which is always the preference of the people with the bride. The bride is always trying to convince their mom/aunt that it's not that revealing. I think she just try to stand up for the bride
she seems very removed from the South Asian wedding scene for someone whose job is to cater to such weddings. Touching feet at a wedding reception for instance is such a new concept for her. You don't wear deep necklines when you will be bending down so much! How hard is that to understand? This is the 3rd episode I have seen where she makes a fuss about a strangers neckline preference.
I agree she is super dry and rude
Shiwangi is a different person btw
Now i understand why the 2nd bride was totally awww for the gown bcs it matches perfectly with the groom outfit
It's amazing how the bride's look at their tacky as hell clothes and go 'wow, that's so different!' 😐
Right?! I've worn fancier clothes TO other weddings and still didn't outdo the bride.....that first bride's chosen dress was basic AF!
This is Indian culture !! We have bright colourful dresses !!
@@deepamurthy7105 my dear friend I'm as Indian as they come. Their clothes being tacky doesn't have anything to do with Indian culture. I could say the same about most of Manish Malhotra's lehengas too.
Right? They are so expensive too. the designer is clearly not a Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
I thought I was the only one who felt that way! A quality lehenga has a completely different vibe to it. You can tell what you're paying for.
“We don’t have a hold policy” ?? Uhm yeah you just wanna make money and make customers buy both! Dresses aren’t even that wow for the price.
Many shops have that policy as they may hold it and someone else wants it but can't sell it to them, then the person who puts it on hold then doesn't want it then the dress doesn't get purchased
I can’t wait for Sunday’s for new episodes.❤️
For the first bride, it was a Shame about that second dress, it really made her face light up. I feel like if she had more time she would have chosen #2 and had it made to size. Also... was she not sooo adorable?!?
I would curl up and die if many of these comments were to be directed at me . Some people have an overdeveloped critical faculty.
In thumbnail, there's no Bride but a bride's friend.
Exactly. I wonder why they didn't use the bride's picture.
@@blakemason7007 That's rude mate. They have to Brides pictures in thumbnail.
@@NdiNaija Yeah Even their editing is not soo good.
I do notice a lot of negativity made by other commentators about the personal characteristics of the host that is realky undeserved. Think there are trolls, purposely here to write very negative reviews about the consultant / host, which are not based on film footage we watch during the show/s. Why that is the case, I do not know.
The owner / fashion consultant is always welcoming to her clients. She smiles..... She greets the customers and smiles throughout the time allocated for her to try and discover what her clients are looking for, and how she can best help them.
You can be sure, if she was found impolite, or not friendly enough by her customers, her customers would go elsewhere, and she would be out of business.
I do not see her professional customer service skills any less friendly or any less professional than any of the bridal consultants or bridal designers appearing on the other reality programmes on TV geared towards buying bridal outfits, such as, the "Say Yes To The Dress" franchise. The design consultant/ owner / host is doing a great job.
All the dresses are so beautiful, I could never decide on just one or two. The bride on this episode was so gorgeous but I think she felt pressured into buying what her friends wanted her to buy. I'm hoping she had no regrets.
The detail are amazing on both dresses. Beautiful love them
Have I told you how much I love this show? So happy she was able to get both dresses.
uhh did she just call the mom jasmine instead of yasmine lol
Yeah that was funny😂
Is this entire season shot in one day or what? Shia literally has the same fit in EVERY episode so far..
She has 2 tops green and black. Alternative day just switching shirts
😂😂
That dress on Ruhee for 3k $ is such a ripoff. The big motif dresses are usually cheaper
I am glad she liked it.......but.....she could have got pink and it did seem bridal enough
I 💕 the lengha’s. They are absolutely gorgeous. I wish that us Americans would adopt colors.
The outfit look beautiful, when the brides are all dressed up 😊
She looked beautiful in everything!! I'm glad she found 2... Wow!!
Second bride repping Guyana 🇬🇾✨
Shia makes me laugh in every episode, she gives these judgy looks when the families give their opinions 😂
Agreed. Especially overly opinionated grooms lol
wooowwww that red lehenga, its so royal beautiful
These dresses are pieces of ART. I love the work.
The champagne gown was screaming muslim wedding. Gorgeous brides.
I'm not Muslim but don't muslims wear green in their weddings? Sorry if I'm wrong
@@pinkheart315 no Indian Muslim brides wear any color but usually in that anarkali style
@@pinkheart315 not usually. I know Afghani brides do but not in India. Honestly it could vary but in Hyderabad they wear light or bright colored anarkalis or lahengas w a long shirt (not a crop top basically). But I've even seen begali Muslim brides from Calcutta wear saris so it really does vary.
I’m a Pakistani Muslim and we usually wear red
Muslim weddings you can wear any colour, it could be a dress or a lengha. Brides tend to obviously go with whatever’s in fashion.
The shocking pink looks gorgeous on the *1st bride😍😍
Wow the burgundy dress looked gorgeous on the second bride
Alisha's lehenga was 😍😍 GORGEOUS
Ruhee's third dress looks diff color from dat on mannequin😏
Don't look at the first mannequin but second. perhaps the lighting made it look slightly different😉 You can check the colour of the dress at the end of video
It would be nice to see non bridal too. As in family or guest outfits. Variety of things
Definately the first lehenga was beautiful..😍
For the first bride you can tell her mom was happy when she came out w a red dress
It's not about living in America it's about respecting your culture...
OMG, I can’t even imagine having such and opinionated mother like that. As a non-Indian, I gladly wore my mother’s wedding dress because it was Vintage and she had paid $700 for it back in 1948. My mother didn’t mind that I altered the neckline and got a new veil to modernize it a bit, but my mother always told me that we could go wedding dress shopping if I preferred a newer gown. I loved the fact that my mother was so fashion forward and didn’t impose her wants and needs onto me. At least this woman was allowed to get her beloved golden gown too.
Both brides are so pretty♥️ Alisha in that burgundy lehnga was just wow🙈
I loved the pink lehanga.. so pretty
The Burgundy looks amazing!
Video surfing, and found your channel. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, clothes.
The brides hair is sooo amazing wish I had hair like that...she looks amazing in her dress
The dress are soo outdated! Instead of changing your name to Shia try to upgrade your dress !
And well it's there tradition so have some respect at least she is not trying to someone what she isn't.
I love watching you the outfits are beautiful
Alisha looks like the actress Nandita Das
I love to watch this. I enjoy seeing all the beautiful garments available for weddings. I'm sorry if others find these tacky, but I'm white and I don't know much of Indian culture. So the me these are amazing considering our custom is white gowns. So Indian ladies keep rocking these gorgeous langas (?sp), saris, and gowns!
The reason why Indians in the comment are finding these Lehengas tacky, gaudy and wayy overpriced and expensive is Becoz Indian fashion is 10000× much better in India.
To be fair it did sound like she said jasmine lol 😂
Actually burgundy dress looks much better than offwhite dress that she wore earlier. So sometimes we should hear what others say
I had the opposite problem. Literally had to convince my family to let me wear red
Can your parents adopt me ?
That blush pink dress is soooooo pretty ...similar to Anushree Reddy designs 🥰🥰🥰
I 💕 loved the blush on her
I wish they talk more about why Indian culture wears these dresses they are just beautiful
I wanna be a nazrana bride just to wear one of those outfits, I'm not even indian neither in a relationship lol
U shud come to india..
I really love your show and I love the fact that the second Bride was able to buy two dresses look beautiful on her both of them so that she could have two ceremonies where she looked and felt beautiful.
The first bride, Well she did look beautiful in the third gown, she look more SO STUNNING in the first Light pink & gold gown with the Scoop neckline which BARELY showed ANY CLEAVAGE, and it is such a shame she Was not allowed to buy that wedding dress that she loved. Because I’m gonna tell you there was a huge difference in how she looked in the first pink dress versus the one she was forced to Bri. It made me very sad for her!!!! she was really a beautiful girl though!
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS And I truly appreciate the handiwork in your gowns. I am not here to judge your culture at all but rather appreciate the artistry in your gowns. People need to understand that and not judge I’m not going to read any negative comments and the bride should not either
Both outfits are gorgeous on her.
OMG can we get this sales women some different clothes. She wears the same clothes every episode.
That’s a uniform
Then change the uniform. It's unflattering. This is for TV
It's uniform o
She has 2 tops. Green and black
@@rizcheema1254 Its not uniform. Because her co-worker the sales man always wears different suits. Plus if anything the uniform for her might be to wear black. Doesn't mean the exact same black outfit every time. Especially when your on tv.
I loved the first dress for Ruhi
I love the first one with the white in the pale pink I thought that was so beautiful
Rupee is so sweet and beautiful.
Amazing! I love these dresses! The brides look incredible!
