    Ol Frankie looks good!!! I’ve actually had that same problem with peak full strength antifreeze. Mixed it like I normally do and it tested +10 degrees. I haven’t had that problem with any other brand but peak. I’ll never buy it again. Glad you got him back together. Hope you have a good one Tim!!!

      Thankyou Evan!!!! the 3rd person including myself that can confirm peak is a ripoff 🤦‍♂️ I definitely learned my lesson on testing everything. I've been good over the years testing the older antifreeze in the tractors but never really worried about me antifreeze. Kicking myself in the rear end for that one now lol. Have a good one Evan!

    Nice being able to work on an engine without having to split the tractor. Nice looking sheet metal work.

    Man yeah Tim,or mad scientist I should say!! I do enjoy hearing you talk about the engine work like it's changing a tire or something 😉😉😁😁 That sucks on the 50/50 but have had that issue before, but my OCD alway makes me check everything every year. But we don't get near as cold. Thank goodness you scored a good block!! Man that tin work looks amazing!!! 😁😁Turned out VERY nice!! Looking fwd to seeing that plow hooked to Frankie!! That was the tractor that brought me to your channel!!! Love the pictures at the end, before and after!! Can't wait to see you ramp up for this season!! Thank you for bringing us along!! 😁😁👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸

      Thankyou Nelson! This tractor has given me some ocd like symptoms when it come to antifreeze trust me 😆 you guy will not be seeing another video will the repair. If I did it again Idk if I'd be able to admit it anyways 😂😂😂. These engines are just so simple that it kinda feels life changing a your after doing a few of them. Especially having only 4 cylinders to deal with 😆 and as far as the 7060 I really hope it's as simple as a head swap. I guess we will see soon. Thanks for allways being here my friend.

    Awesome job sir it looks great, I can do most of all the mechanical stuff but the tin work I’ll gladly pay someone that knows what they’re doing. That’s not my strong suit lol

      😆 thankyou Craig. This isn't my strong suit either. He camera his singer imperfection but it's perfect for Franky 😆

    I've bought the premixed coolant. Never gave it a second thought.
    I do test everything in the fall since I ruined a engine.
    Thanks Tim.

    Take a look at this item in Michigan which is coming up for auction - LOT # 76 - ALLIS-CHALMERS OC3 76. Really unusual combination of equipment but looks interesting. I think the auction date is April 17.

      I looked for this listing and couldn't find it. But I'm curious what it was Jeff lol

    • @jeffsnider3588
      @jeffsnider3588 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      May have been pulled.....but someone had a couple of Oliver OC3 crawler chassis and had retrofitted Allis-Chalmers WD-45 engines, hood, gas tank and grill. Looked Ok, not sure why they did this but it was unusual looking. Oh, my DeKalb corn is just popping up, so far so good.

    • @TimothyFluegel
      @TimothyFluegel  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @jeffsnider3588 That does sound interesting. Would have been curious what it sold for. I'm still a few weeks out for seeing corn popping up. That's if it ever stops raining anyways 😆

    We had a 6068. That little 4 cylinder had to work damn hard to make the 83HP AC claimed. I think a 185 would run rings around a 6080.

    • @TimothyFluegel
      @TimothyFluegel  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Most freaked turned then I to 105 hp at the pto. This was the case with my dad's. It would do anything the 190xt would do as far as tillage, but a little better because of the front wheele assist. I could imagine at 83hp it would be a real turd though. 😆

      Itc is. I plan to do some work on the front door in the future to extend the cowl a little bit. Mainly for looks and safety because it stays cool as it is. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    She is looking good I want to re power one of my wd45s I will one day what size ac motor would you recommend for doing it with

    • @TimothyFluegel
      @TimothyFluegel  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      We repowered a wd45 with a 230 gasser out of a combine. They ran 72hp in the combine it made a pretty stout wd45, but I want too put a 262 in one gas or diesel. You would need a diesel chassis or at least a mounting plate, flywheel, and the front mounting bracket from a diesel. But there is no fabricating at that point, plug and play basically. You cloud put a 433 or 301 in it, but that takes some heavy fabrication when it comes to mounting and flywheel. There's also the Chevy engines from the old gleaners, I have a 45 with one in it that doesn't run, but I'm taking it apart at some point to see what/how they did it.
