  • The Kit Breakdown is the only place where you can hear exclusively from two World Cup winning kit designers.
Craig Buglass and Rob Warner use their combined experience at brands such as Nike, Puma and Umbro to offer a unique perspective on a wide range of kits.
Today, we look at a wide variety of club kits... with unintended consequences

Would love a vid on the smaller brand and comparing what they actually might do better than the Nike’s and Adidas’

Just a detail(Green color is actually inspired by the color of Stadium tickets back in season 1991/1992).Nice review !

I would love you guys to do a sheffield united shirt. Not a club with the heights of PSG or Barca but its my club and it'd be amazing to hear what you say! Maybe a comparison between last season's adidas shirt and this season's errea

The Stuttgart TPU badges are a thing of beauty. The details in the transparency of the material are great

I am very environmentally conscious , sustainable packaging is always the way to go for not just kits but any product

For sustainability and also supply chain reasons, the clubs should go back to having a home shirt last for two seasons.

Would provide much better value for fans too, but these days its all about revenues! 💰

Any comments on Errea? The Sheffield united shirts this season are absolutely riddled with problems

The packaging is annoying, trying to hide paper, plastic bags etc from the Mrs is a game in itself

Id love to see a video on sponsor prints and what you think of them over the years. 3D sponsors Vs the more iron on 2D ones nowadays. To me, they ruin a shirt especially long term.

Newcastle fan here that desperately wants us to go back to adidas. Would love to see those stripe variations and some blue neck/arm piping come back too.

It's crazy how much plastic they still use. Lots of text about recycling on the packaging only to have a plastic bag inside.

We need to move to better packaging solutions, for sure

I never know what to do with that flimsy bit of tracing paper. I'm handling it like a hot potato wondering whether I can recycle it or not....

Think the best Newcastle kits have the 3 black stripes down the centre of it as you look from the front. We'll see what Adidas come up with for 24/25.

Nike are absolute CRAP. Boring designs, extremely expensive despite using reused material, inconsistent sizes, many teams with same designs and patterns ... so sad we (Liverpool) changed New Balance as they made some great designs - with the 2019/20 Champions winning shirt being absolutely legend!

  • @BasilNadeem

That’s why a lot of people go to third party sources to buy these kits. They aren’t what they used to be tbh.
