I don't need 3 different kits every season from my team. There are thousands of designs from over the decads because of this. It's impressive but uinecessary. I also love when they do heritage kits that bring back old styles. Use all of the IP that you have in the locker.

When I was growing up clubs would keep a shirt for at least 2 seasons. Changing home and away in alternate years. Now you have at least 3 shirts each year which is why the counterfeit market has grown.

Craig and Rob, thank you for this Bundesliga special. I would be really pleased if someday you get to do a breakdown of classic goalkeepers kits.

That Bremen kit is solid, but I love their home kit. Leipzig always feel like they're trying too hard. Stuttgart is pure class. I've been a fan of what Jako has been doing for a while.

Love your videos and feel like I've learned a lot and refined my interest in footy shirts thanks to you guys; however, it would be great if you could do a few more close-ups of the things you're talking about. Sometimes feels like we're just watching one of you talking about the thing without being able to see clearly what it is!

Interesting that the authentic version available in the UK doesn't carry the sleeve sponsor and MLS patch whereas the last 2 Seattle Sounders away shirts I've bought direct do.

Love Seattle Sounders shirts by Adidas, would love a video covering all MLS shirts for next season in March 25.

If we drop down from the Bundesliga, then this season's away kits of Cologne & Energie Cottbus were tidy.

Motherwell have the same issue with the single front/back hoop. Traditionally we use a full hoop. However, due to our occasional involvement in European competition that has on occasion been reduced to a front only band. UEFA have strict numbering rules that prevent the use of a full hoop. Personally I prefer a proper shirt hoop, and with careful use of number graphics I don’t see a problem in using it. #SaveTheHoop

Bono is back

As a lot St. Pauli fans, I hate they have gotten Puma. It just goes against any values of the club. A horrible brand for an antifacist football club. They should have gone for Jako or Hummel. The Stuttgart and Werder Bremen shirts looks great.

i‘m biased as a werder bremen fan but i absolutely love the shirts this season. i‘m usually not a big fan of hummel but this year all three kits are great. the black shirt is inspired by the city lights during nighttime of the „viertel“ which is the district of the city where all of the cool bars and clubs are located. the shirt is also supposed to be preferrebly worn on evening games where the shirt shines under the floodlights.

Great video - will you cover the afcon kits any time soon? Not necessary for the template but for implementation of culutre/story.

VfB-Fan here. If it wasn't for the betting sponsor, this would be one of the best kits in quite some time. The sown-in hoop that goes all around the kit was certainly a big selling point in the marketing campaign. Reminiscent of old kits from the 70s and 80s.

Rob is a bit confusing to listen to. It feels like he is afraid to make the stand until asked.

Not having the shirts in hand I’m unable to comment on the fabric qualities. With that said any football player or fan will look at the Netherlands shirt and recognize it is a “Netherlands” kit. Whereas they would look at the Belgium away and go “this is a Belgium kit? Wow”. The TinTin inspired design is just so refreshing and much needed in today’s football ‘fast fashion’ era.

I got the Nigo Japan player edition it’s beautiful. Definitely my favourite football shirt.

As a Liverpool fan I absolutely believe who has the worst. Some of the Nike training kit has been OK over the course of the deal, but by and large pretty much everything from concept to execution on the replica kits has been poor. The only surprise here was that you guys thought we'd be raging, I think we all know this kit is awful. Also the gap in quality between replica and pro kit is pretty disgusting. "Not much value in that" as Craig might say. Looking forward to Adidas although they have gone far too templatised of late

I thought that the Liverpool kit would be voted worst. I don't think it looks too bad! One of the few LFC shirts to have yellow trim on the collar and cuffs (the other two being the first and last offerings from the first spell of Adidas) - strange when you consider that yellow is an established change colour for Liverpool.

Absolutely love the detail you go into when discussing these shirts. Thank you! Having been a fan of Liverpool and Nike for (ahem) 30+ years I was so excited that they were finally coming to LFC but I've been disappointed with every home shirt. Feels live they've phoned-in the design every year, not just the 24/25 kit. To be fair, some of the away and third kits have been decent but it's unacceptable for Nike to get the 'Reds' home shirts so badly wrong in terms of aesthetic and build quality. Looking forward to adidas returning but even then, it's with caution. The 06-08 shirt had a collar that just didn't work and the '11-'12 shirt couldn't decide if it was retro or modern and ended up being neither (didn't help that it was worn by the worst Liverpool squad of the modern era!).

During the 80's/90's as an Arsenal fan it was great as we only used to release 1 new shirt every season (New home one year and the away the next) and now its a pi$$ take and I am a Arsenal shirt collector. I love the team I support but with all 3 kits changing every season it is not on. It needs to be capped either on price or the amount of kits that can be produced. As you say some families have no choice when it comes to money. Good video
