Unfortunately we couldn’t get our hands on all of them in time for filming, but we agree! It’s a great kit!

I love the in-depth discussion on recycling a kit! Lots of terms I got to learn about.
I wish you had the Denmark shirts. They look really cool kinda video game vibe in my opinion. Whatcha guys think about it?

I quite liked the Japan Women's Away Kit. It had a lovely pink that even I would wear it.

I picked up a few of these for the collection. I thought a lot of the women's kits were better than last year's men's WC. The Japan away is a standout, the Portugal away shit seams to have been missed by many, it's a belter. Great videos guys, keep it coming

Hey gents, love the channel. Can I make a request/suggestion for a kits FAQ video? Had a few people in the last week asking me why the colour of the sleeves/shorts doesn’t match the colour of the front graphic and I’ve loosely answered based on your comments in previous vids. Would be great to have a video of experts explaining it to share rather than me blagging it though.
Some insight into how much a club makes from the sale of a shirt would also help me personally, but would be great to see other questions people have.

The powder blue on the French kit is to pay homage to the first women's french representative team that used a similar colour

Great video as always. Not all teams got two kits from the supplier. I think perhaps it is a good thing for the home kit to share the design and have different away kits between the men's teams and womens' teams.
I am not sure why Argentina did not show off their beautiful away kit against Sweden in the final group stage match. Unfortunately the shirt is difficult to get a hold of and is only available in a replica version. I'm glad I got one from Argentina. Even the players wore replicas in matches prior to the World Cup. I'd imagine it's the same fabric as the rest of the adidas nature-inspired WWC away kit line-up. Like you said, the fabric isn't the best performance fabric. Perhaps that is the reason they did not use the shirt at all during the WWC. Argentina women wore the authentic home shirt in all 3 matches (while the design is the same as the men's, I'm not sure if it's possible adidas Argentina made some women's specific sizes for the team, my guess is they didn't).
With the Nike kit, spitting the bottom of the back panel seems dumb. You mentioned potential reduction of fabric wastage.. but the extra panel requires an extra seam to be sewn. It just doesn't make sense.... unless, like you said, they were different fabrics.

The women's WC shirts have mostly been Nike template or Adidas template with colour changes. Esp the GK shirts stripy nike design with diff colours and diff badges. I've found a lot of the shirts fairly lazy designs bar a few. Canada, Colombia away and england away

It would be interesting to have detailed data from the kit manufacturers as to the actual numbers of all variants of shirts sold by each country. 🤔
I would hazard a guess that a lot of the shirts have been total financial flops because the women's game is a minority sport with limited appeal no matter how much it's hyped up.

I have to be honest, since Nike won the contract to design England's shirts i have been so disappointed to the point where i truly believe they shouldnt be allowed to do anymore, so uninspiring, generally ugly and often boring. The only half decent men's one is the current red away shirt and that's a rip off of an older Umbro shirt. As for the women, the shirt they won the Euros in was excellent, the current one is an insult to me... Absolutely dull as ditch water. What is it with Nike, england is red and white, not blue and white! Still, not as bad as the men's shirt.

Women are now allowed to wear dark shorts at Wimbledon for this same reason, starting this year.
“The elite players expressed gratitude for the new rules and have already taken advantage. Defending Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan played American Shelby Rogers in the opening round-and both players donned black undershorts.
British player Heather Watson also welcomed the new rule and candidly discussed the lengths she has gone to prevent any period-related embarrassment. “Last year, I went on the pill to stop myself bleeding because I knew we had to wear white undershorts. I didn’t want to face any embarrassment with that,” she told SkyNews. “This year, I knew my period was going to be during Wimbledon again, so I’m very happy I won’t have to do the same thing as last year,” she added.”
