I read somewhere that he purposely made the movie gruesome as a big "F you" to Warner Bros., which really pisses me off. Imagine being so selfish that you murder an entire universe of characters just because you're salty. It's hard to get over when you like these movies so much.

Zatanna's was really traumatizing for me, because at the time I had a coworker who looked a lot like her. The only solace is that not every character got killed/brutalized, but only because the weren't even in the movies (Green Arrow, Black Canary, you [lol])
You know it’s a real shame that Flashpoint WW didn’t get her ass kicked after she killed Billy Batson. Seeing her having that smug look on her face after she did it irks me. Especially since she cheated in their fight.

I always found Jokers death when he's shoved, slips, and gets electrocuted to death to be more horrifying than his other death. I mean sure, we don't get to actually see the electrocution, but we hear it, and see the shadow against the wall and such.

Honestly, Shazam in Justice League Dark Apokolips War, that was just, damn. That one hit really hard, especially since it's a kid, knowing he's about to die.

When I think the DC Animated Universe I think all those Bruce Timm animated shows that all canonically connect, Batman: TAS, Superman: TAS, The New Batman Adventures, Batman Beyond, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, Static Shock and The Zeta Project, but sometimes I here others refer to it as pretty much every DC cartoon show and movie that each exist in their own continuity.
I literally despise the animated version of Flashpoint Wonder Woman for stabbed and killed the Flashpoint Billy Batson, one of the S.H.A.Z.A.M kids based on the 2011 comic book version written and co-created by Geoff Johns.

The one thing DC reigns supreme over Marvel is their animated movies. Now if only they could put those great stories into live action movies, they would dominate the box office. I also prefer DC comics over Marvel comics, with the exception of Deadpool. Deadpool has been my favorite comic character since early 2000s, and they did a perfect job with his movie.
When I think of dc animated movies that gore fist thing that pops into my head is Dark Apokolips War. Maybe because it’s the first gory animated dc movie that I saw.
That means the writers did their job!! Most villains KNOW their evil but just DGAF. Evil Wonder Woman meanwhile, at least in most timelines, seems to have the mentality of “I’m right because of this, that, and the next thing, and anyone who doesn’t agree with me will lose their right to breathe” it’s a different kind of evil because it has zero emotion

Cyborg Superman honestly really irritated me with how he constantly blamed Superman for his wife's death. She didn't die because Superman didn't save her, she died because the guy laxed on getting them all away from the incoming asteroid safely when he had plenty of time to do so, but he CHOSE to go slow, because he assumed Superman would save them just because he expected it. There are some really nasty horrific gruesome deaths shown on Beroul's TV screens when Constantine first visits in 'City of Demons' and I'm not sure if DC showcases count, but in Blue Beetle, due to Dr Spectro's sadness ray, a baby tries to jam a metal fork into an electrical outlet socket.
I’m surprised the flash’s death isn’t on this list from the Injustice movie even though we didn’t see it we saw the blood and heard how gruesome it was. Even though it was a stupid way for Barry to die it was still brutal imo

This figure made a small bit of sabotage on his time machine, so when Lor-Zod tried to use it again, he was sent back to the moment his first bomb against superboy went off. He stepped out to see his nemesis die, only for the time machine to leave again without him. Not only that, he was able to see first hand how Superboy escaped his trap. He tried to disarm his bomb too late, and was destroyed instantly by it...leaving only his ashes to be confused for Superboy's.

Umm, WatchMojo needs to watch more movies because the movie "Injustice" death was much more brutal than all on this list. Superman straight up Mortal Kombat Fatalitied the Joker by punching him through his chest, killing him (all while Batman is trying to do an interrogation and helpless to stop Superman from doing it). A LOT of blood goes everywhere, probably gore too as Superman punched him right through his heart. This is even more shocking because it's Superman that does it. Superman also during the course of the movie goes full dictator and kills other people as well, mainly because they disagreed with his tyranny.

JL:AW was so hard to watch. It felt like there was no hope in that movie and seeing my favorite heroes struggle to survive was brutal. With that said, based off of this list, I feel like Zatanna did get it the worst.

Starfire got it bad too. Although we don't see what happened but there's a scene that shows her disembowled corpse before she we later learn that she's been reanimated as a cyborg.

The death in DCU that bothered me most was when a certain hero got a hole in his suit. You see the dread in his eyes for just a split second as he gasps "Oh no!" and flies away as quick as he can. A few seconds later you see a huge explosion off in the distance, knowing it was him.
Some of these deaths are sad and scary! I feel so bad for the innocent!🙁 I'd save their lives if I could! I can't believe the son would do that to his own mother! She gives him a life and now he kills her?! I also can't believe the daughter would destroy her frozen parents! Her parents shouldn't have been so abusive to her. Some of these ladies looked so nice! It's a shame what happened to them. Also, I'm familiar with the Joker's last laugh.

JL:AW was so hard to watch. It felt like there was no hope in that movie and seeing my favorite heroes struggle to survive was brutal. With that said, based off of this list, I feel like Zatanna did get it the worst.
I passionately hate that movie. I had a coworker who was resembled Zatanna too, so her death was especially traumatizing.
@@The95thZebra I won't say I hated it personally but I can see how some people could. I also forgot about Batgirl too. We literally see her get torn apart and devoured by the parademons. Starfire got it bad too. Although we don't see what happened but there's a scene that shows her disembowled corpse before she we later learn that she's been reanimated as a cyborg.

The death in DCU that bothered me most was when a certain hero got a hole in his suit. You see the dread in his eyes for just a split second as he gasps "Oh no!" and flies away as quick as he can. A few seconds later you see a huge explosion off in the distance, knowing it was him.

Some of these deaths are sad and scary! I feel so bad for the innocent!🙁 I'd save their lives if I could! I can't believe the son would do that to his own mother! She gives him a life and now he kills her?! I also can't believe the daughter would destroy her frozen parents! Her parents shouldn't have been so abusive to her. Some of these ladies looked so nice! It's a shame what happened to them. Also, I'm familiar with the Joker's last laugh.

Most brutal?!!! In Flash Point only, has 5 more brutal deaths than what you have in this list!!!! Wonderwoman killing Hera, Aquaman tearing Cyborg apart, Batman putting a hole in Reverse Flash forehead, Capt Atom exploding and Grifter being killed by the Amazons.
I don't know about "hardest".. but what about the death of Reverse Flash in "Flashpoint"... when the gritty Batman put a hole through his head from behind at less then 10 feet away... And so many comments about Jason todd's death in "Under the Red Hood"... what about when Superman ( In "Injustice " ) shoved his hand THROUGH the chest of the Joker after he discovered that the joker's end plan resulted in both the loss of SM's wife and the destruction of the majority of the city of Metropolis by the stolen nuclear bomb?
