The Jansport Big Student is what I used in high school. Though I loved how spacious it was and how I could fit everything I needed in it, I hated how it wouldn't hold its shape at all. All the stuff would cause the bag to point outward like a pyramid on my back and it looked really goofy. Overall, though, it's a solid bag if you don't care much about how it looks on your back

When I was in college, I found the Jansport big student backpack actually had too much space some semesters. I had used it for semesters where I felt binders would work for some of classes I was taking or had all of my classes on 2/3 days a week. I also used the super break backpack by Jansport as well during college.

I used the jansport big student when I first started highschool and It was one of the worst backpacks I’ve used 😬 I hate to say it since a lot of people like it but it gave me so much back pain since even with a little amount of stuff in the bag, everything falls forward and it isn’t ergonomic at all. At least it wasn’t for me. It seemed good quality though and I did love the compartments
Omg yesss I bought one cause everyone said that it was so good and I needed a bigger backpack but it hurt so much to wear. It had bad back support and one thing that really irked me was the little strap at the top. It had no hand support and it was just a rough piece of fabric that would dig into my palm every time I had to lift up my bag that way

To me it seemed comfortable for what I was doing, but I know there are many opinions here. Thanks for sharing yours, I appreciate it.
i just got mine today and tried carrying some books in there and it was killing my shoulders😔 i think imma return which is really sad because i liked the design and how much room there is

Overall, I would agree with Sergio MB...the Jansport Big Student backpack. Crazy_Dino, the only downside is that it doesn't have a laptop compartment. If you want that, go with the Nike Sport. Thanks for asking.

I've been using Karrimor urbans and Hot Tuna Trekker (it's actually really good I would recommend if you can find it on sale, I got both of mine for less than £20 at sports direct) for years and though I love them I don't know if they'll be the best option for uni. I will definitely consider the Nike backpack in my search!
I bought my jansport backpack from the jansport website, and it looked really good, but the shoulder straps are not far enough apart for it to fit on my shoulders. I am a slim girl with small shoulders, but I can still not get the backpack on both of my shoulders, cause they are so tight at the top. I have to hang it on one of my shoulders...... Do not recommend.
I have the big student in black and love it. I am a nursing student so lots of books to carry and always a heavy load it is holding up excellent
Finished first year back pack is in great shape can use it next year

I have jansport backpacks, because of the warranty. I also like, North face, Dakine backpacks. Hard to believe how many backpack brands are out there.

I just use Jansport backpacks and have several of their styles. If I am traveling, I will use a cross body backpack as a purse.
