Great review! Def picking up the Matein looks like a perfect balance of looks and functionality. Also the skateboard thing is a good feature to mention. A lot of people at my University use it.

lockers are good but i like reviewing after school... and the big herschel bag served me for 2-3 years as a bag and a pillow(padded back lol) and it was really spacious! it started to rip... this review is amazing and very informative💛

I've had the vaschy backback for about 3 years now and it's held up pretty well. some bits of thread started coming off on the inside but the overall quality is very decent. The only thing I dislike about it is the colour I picked (grass green) which unsurprisingly they discontinued.

Hi Paul! Great video - I was looking for reviews on bags for both my junior high and high school sons. The Matein seems perfect. I noticed on Amazon it comes in two different sizes. The one you were showing, was that the 15.6 or the 17 inch? Just curious. Thank you for your response and your excellent review!
Michelle Barganier I think he reviewed the 15.6 because of the space remaining when he puts his 13 inch MacBook in there. I’m about to start college in the fall and I have a 15.6 inch laptop that I plan on bringing with me, so I’ll probably go with the 17 inch one just to be sure it’ll fit with extra space and it won’t put strain on the zippers as much. I hope this helps!

Except it has a water bottle holder which herschel does not... so much for functionality.

So EA making backpacks now with separate attachments for the reebow?
No haha, it’s about supporting the military (industry) standard MOLLE system. The bag just had optional support for MOLLE attachments. Some people like to add smaller “pockets” on the back, or attach a small first aid kit with a snap backing that you wouldn’t be able to attach to a normal backpack.
PSH that's your college load? In middle school I carried at least 10 pounds of stuff on me at all times (I weighed it one day) for some reason. Only reason why was because it was on the list of school supplies, finally had the bright idea of taking out items/bringing less stuff with me to school

The Vaschy bag should be replaced in this video with the Eastpak cause Eastpak is much cheaper and it’s almost identical with the Vaschy bag. If you gonna review bags please choose the cheapest ones aswell that will help a lot more for us the viewers 👍🏻
