@@hungrybeastvending3590 get the 800. The 700 is pretty quick, but I got so desensitized to the power so fast that I’m already ready to jump to a 1000 naked or super sport
Hey there! I just wanted to offer some clarification on that exhaust. Yes it has the stock muffler however the catalytic converter is missing. It was replaced with the firetorch high flow exhaust. Stock exhaust is much much more quiet. Great video otherwise.
The bike you're on, has the stock catalytic converter replaced. You're probably aware of it now. I got my heritage 2nd hand. The cat has already been removed, but the stock muffler remains, which I think has a great design. However it is too loud for my taste. I have contacted my local CFMoto and hopefully get buy the catalytic converter and bring it back to stock. As long as I can hear the exhaust note, that's all that matters to me. I don't need the world to hear my bike. Great bike. Even with stock exhaust, I have seen taking it to the dyno and get a tune, will gain noticeable results.
If you think the riding position is more agressive than you like, the Heritage model is the one for you. Has handlebars and I do believe lower/more forward footpegs, and larger wheels too. The engine is a Ninja/Z 650 engine but stroked out for larger displacement numbers. I would buy this over the Z650 7 days a week.
@@MidgetMoto Definitely, I currently have a 300NK and am looking at one of these CLX700 Sport as my next one, especially thanks to the .99% financing. Love the original look (of an amalgamation of multiple stolen style queues)
I changed my Sports handlebar with the one in the Heritage and never regret it. It feels more comfortable now since I dont like leaning forward especially on long rides. Also, I found out there is also an aftermarket bellypan available here in the Philippines that makes the Sports more awesome.
It's really hard to go past this bike. I was set on the Heritage/Standard version, but I like the design of this better, seat and brakes are better too. Can even raise the bars if the lean position gets annoying.
The exhaust sounds loud because someone have replace the factory catalyst with an aftermarket firetorch catalyst. Its not a design fault... Th bike with the factory catalyst is way more quiet
Why wouldn't you? I got a 300NK, and am looking hard at the CLX700 Sport that I can get a 2k off the asking price ATM. At .99%, this is an absolute steal, and am just waiting for my house purchase to go through so I can nab me one.
@@switcherlp780 If you getting that much off with that low of a rate that sounds like a no brainer. I had a ton of fun and only rode it for 20 minutes!
@@MidgetMoto Absolutely, the .99 is currently advertised for those whose credit is high enough. I just am waiting for a house purchase to go through so I can get one, man that is tough to wait on!
The tank size and the weight of the bike leave your mind as soon as you start moving. I got this for my first bike and I love it.
Completely agree. It was a fun ride too
how do you like the clip ons?
I found one with 300 miles on it for 5k!
Dang!
Just got one with 400 miles, talked the guy down to 4k lol
@philippowell560 thats a steal! I am looking at this or the NK kinda like this clx look more but love the power of the 800 🤔
