This really made me miss my baby bird Milo he passed away within 6 days of having him from Ataxia and he was just suffering so we had to put him down we soon got him cremated and he sits in my room and ever since then the atmosphere has been lighter and it’s like he is still here with my family and I. There's ways to do it when they're already grown! It took about 3 years of constant training for me, but I took in a rainbow cross scaly lorikeet hybrid when he was fully grown, he's now almost 6 years old and free flying!! He also came to me with his wings cut really far back, so it's awesome to see him doing so well. Only about 2 months ago I took in another lorikeet so I'm going to repeat the training and do my best to have her free flying too! Lots of research and and understanding of your birds will go a long way! My next birds will definitely be an African grey and a macaw, I'm super excited to own them😁
