@@aronsgarage834 just got done putting mine back together. Sanded down a flathead that was just a little too wide to fit down to the "idle" jet. Other than that smooth sailing. Thanks again.
I am noticing when I spray into accelerator pump jet the nozzle is not spraying like yours is. It’s more irregular and not a nice fan like spray. How should I fix this?
I removed nozzle and sprays well alone but when I put it back on it still sprays irregularly. I put carb spray and compressed air through pathway with nozzle off as well. Could this be normal?
Ok, it must be that little steel ball in the float bowl then. When you shake the float bowl you normally hear it moving. Might be stuck partially. Might be worth cleaning it in an ultrasonic cleaner to free it up properly. Or spray wd40 in there and let it soak for a while.
This video helped me so much, very detailed walkthrough. I appreciate the step by step. 👍
I’m glad it was helpful 👍

Try to flush it with carb cleaner a few times, then with compressed air, and see if it fixes it. Worst case scenario you have to change the nozzle.

Awesome thorough video on cleaning a carb properly.
Does the 96 fatboy have a carburetor?
No, 96 is fuel injection.
@@aronsgarage834 God damn it. Ok, thank you!
What’re you talking about??? The 96 Fatboy has the old evolution motor with a carburetor, not fuel injected.
@SF-oh5ud ok thank you.
Of course! Sorry guys, not sure what I was thinking when I said that. My bad
