These characters are good at everything, combos, killing, attack variety, range, edgeguarding. That makes a lot of sense in a game where lots of character have at least one crippling weakness in singles
@@laffy7204 well, believe it or not, bruisers usually run the meta in 1s. this tournament was just a coincidence of two character specialists ending up in grands. offline could also play a factor, considering lag definitely punishes assassins harder in an online meta
Look at the recent gameplay the TH-cam Blitz has been uploading. It’s a bit slower cus of how fast you lose dodge meter but it’s not as slow as the trailers showed
Yeah I feel so sad about them slowing it and making dodge meter only 2 dodge jumps or 6 ground dodges. Game was so fucking awesome how it was before. But they had to cater to the traditional slower, heavier, and less fast paced fighting gamers. God damn this game was awesome but I'm not sure it's going to be the same game I fail in love with when it comes back.

this commentary was legit trash, they dont even know what oki is. they re just spaming words. Oki is literally short for okizeme, which is the Japanese word for waking up. oki is the pressure u apply when your opponent wakes up aka gets up from a knock down. then I'm hearing them say ground bounces are like OTGs that are also like tech chases. It was all bad.
U cant hold the laser forever he has to stop eventually and he'll take even more damage, that harley kept being impaitent. Although i dont think that i could do much better against that monster of a martian.

i can see it doing very consistently well once it comes back more complete but like most fighting games it isnt meant to stay too popular for long
