Bad news, no cigar. No rust or any deposits on the coil. All the bolts were tight on the cylinder. Watched a TH-cam video on measuring the ohms. Looks like the coil is dead, (I hope). Ordered a new coil from Amazon. I just hope the secondary windings are spec 10k-20k resistance. Do you have any advice? Michael
Interesting that the coil was rusted. Good video as I am experiencing the same problem with a Popular 200 that I bought not working. It has good compression 130 lbs. But has no spark. I will be looking hard for any rust on it. Thanks Michael
Poulan blowers are very sensitive to spark plug resistance. Should be in the 9K ohm range. Don’t use Champion plugs. NGK 4626 and you’ll never have an issue
