      That is awesome! Take it slow and just enjoy the fabulous natural attractions and interesting food. The self drive is a big convenience to bring along older folks. Have a fabulous trip.

    Thank you for the video! I will definitely use this information for my trip! I have a question, I can drive but I would rather take the scooter as I am worried about road accidents, can you comment on the driving laws and regulations in South Korea please?!

    • @gibbontravelogue
      @gibbontravelogue  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      So glad you find the information helpful. Yes, you can either drive a car or ride a motorbike. Not sure if you are referring to an electric scooter. If you are, then I don’t think that’s a good option to move around in Jeju as it won’t be able to help you cover the distance. Traffic is generally light as such accidents are uncommon, so don’t worry too much. The traffic regulations in Korea is also consistent with the major cities in the world. Maybe something to note is that, you can turn right on red light.

    Thanks for info about jeju. Can i know how much budget travel to jeju by 2 person.

    • @gibbontravelogue
      @gibbontravelogue  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Besides the flight, accommodations cost is relatively affordable and most are less than $100 per night. There is also a wide range of food options and also relatively inexpensive.

    Thanks for the great video. I will be spending 5 full days there. Would you Recommend, splitting up where I stay into 3 places?
    E.g 2 days In the East, 2 days in Seogwipo, last night in Jeju city?

    • @gibbontravelogue
      @gibbontravelogue  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Actually, I would recommend max 2 places so that you don’t have to keep moving hotels. 3 days in Seogwipo and 2 days in Jeju city will be good.

      @@gibbontravelogue Thanks so much. One other question, If I stay in Both Seogwipo, and Jeju City. What sides of the island would you recommend visiting from each city? For example would something like this be efficient with time?
      Seogwipo
      Day 1: SW
      Day 2 : SE
      Day 3: Hallasan
      JejuCity
      Day 4: Nw
      Day 5: NE

    Nice video! ❤ Anyway, I'm actually curious about how should we communicate there as I heard korean people do not speak a well English. How do you manage to talk there with the local people while visiting places or buying things/foods? Thanks for sharing!

    • @gibbontravelogue
      @gibbontravelogue  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks and glad that you enjoyed the video. I have to say most of the Korean service staff know a little English, otherwise, some finger pointing and signing could do the trick. I suppose all these are part of the thrill of traveling.

      @@karengong8309 it could be an issue in heavy snow and we may not be used to this kind of driving. But the roads are in very good condition and just go slow if it happens to snow when you are there.
