🎤 About Oasis:
Oasis became a defining voice of British rock in the '90s, with their anthems like "Wonderwall" and "Don't Look Back in Anger" shaping a generation. Known for their larger-than-life performances and Gallagher brothers' charisma, Oasis continues to be one of the most influential bands in music history.

The drummer is Alan White, younger brother of Steve White who was the drummer for the Style council and Weller
the snobbery in the commentsmakes me so happy im not them. why click on a channel, listen to a song and then slag it off to get some fake credibility. Oasis are back because no one in these comments or anyone since bothered to get off their arses and deliever us a generational collection of songs like oasis did 94-97, b-sides that are better than most bands singles.
The beauty of Oasis. They can rock hard but also they can go for the softer touch and make it as magical.
This is my official version, dont care very much about the one in the album.
Love Noels backing vocals here, they sound great, not to say Liam doesn't either. Then again as a 90s kid Oasis are one of my all time favourites. If you want a famous example of someone who almost ruined their voice from incorrect technique then look at Freddie Mercury himself, he gave himself vocal nodules early on in his career, forcing him to change how he sang. Listen to early recordings of him (1973) live and then later on, you can hear the change of technique.
WTSMG? has outsold Darkside of the moon in the UK. That's how big they are there.
Absolutely wild
The MTV Unplugged concert was a year before this song was released. I think the song you may have been thinking of is Live Forever which is a very popular upload from that concert. This is the best Acoustic performance of Stand By Me for sure. I love the fact that you described Oasis as the biggest British band of all time, my heart agrees with you although my head does not. They are unquestionably iconic though and i really enjoyed your reaction
Highly recommend checking out some of their live stuff from gigs . Live Forever (Live at Maine road) is a great place to start. You can't really go wrong with anything from Maine road or Knebworth gig tbf....BIBLICAL!!! 👌
Loved the reaction guys. Would love to see you react to Supersonic or Champagne Supernova at Earls Court 1995 - two of Liam's greatest vocal performances!
One of my favourite bands of all time and one of the best to ever do it live - really glad you did a reaction and chuffed to know you guys are fans! Cheers 🍻
Hell yeah we are big fans!
Did you manage to nab any tickets?
@@MoreMeetArthur I should be going to the Dublin gig courtesy of my cousin over there so can’t wait - how about you?
@@ryanodonnell533Ah amazing! That will be a great gig! Nah we didn’t manage to get any but seen LG twice before n his set is basically 80% Oasis haha!
Well done guys it’s nice to hear professional musicians with something intelligent to say about the band. Back in 1994 I can tell you this band hit like a shock wave ! After Nirvana imploded I honestly didn’t think we would ever get a classic rock band again! So the name was highly app they were an Oasis from the Stock waterman manufactured pop songs on the charts at the time.
Really appreciate that Scott! Glad you enjoyed the video 🙌🏼
@@MoreMeetArthur great reaction
This U.K. band put acid jazz/funk onto the commercial music scene in the early 90’s. Third biggest selling U.K. act of the 90’s I believe behind Oasis and the Spice Girls
The bassist was a mere teenager in this performance. Like Oasis influenced a generation to pick up the guitar, this band influenced a generation to pick up the bass

Shame that his singing now longer has that tone or control. Judging by his last performance, he's only capable of shouting.
I bet you listen to drag acts all day without even realising it
Men in blouses wearing makeup😂
His voice will never be what it used to but his voice has been miles better since his solo career started. He also sounded way better at Malta after the Wembley gig.
You two give the best reactions.
Thank you!
I HATE Noel's backing vocals on this one. Not good IMO
I'd clean your ears out.
They’re great where you talking about? 🤦♂️🙄
@@daniellefrancis1476 No, they are not. Noel's voice takes over the whole song, and his voice doesn't even sound that great here. He's not the main singer. Why is his voice louder than Liam's?
Bad sound mix
