I've always thought that the people who don't want the power of a leadership role are exactly the people who deserve to be in those roles.

Generally speaking, people misinterpret him not because they genuinely don't understand him, but because they want to bend his narrative for their own convenience in order to antagonise and demonise him. This man is perhaps the most influential person in my life so far. I wish I had the courage to say that to other people without the fear of myself being considered some far-right anti-feminist, which I am absolutely not.

Mr Peterson is the prime example of that phenomenon, isn’t he! I feel similar about him as you do. Appreciate him immensely, and that there are men like him out there. ✋🏼
I'm a feminist and I absolutely adore Peterson's teachings (which doesn't mean I agree with him on everything but I still strongly believe it's worth to hear his thoughts on most subjects). Don't let people who clearly haven't read his books silence you.

He's had a profound effect on my life, I'm genuinely grateful for his work and lectures. I've just started Beyond Order too, so hopefully will learn more from it. The struggles he and his family have gone through in the past couple of years are awful, here's hoping they fully recover from the ordeal

I used to idolize this man couple years ago. Since then I've come to disagree with him about many issues and realized he's as fallible as the rest of us which has actually made me appreciate him more. And one of the many things I appreciate about him is that he would much rather people figure out their own views rather than have people put him on a pedestal and treat everything he says as Gospel Truth.
This is the best comment I’ve read so far! I think it is because sometimes when I read the comments when people are holding him up like he’s some God, I’m thinking to myself; don’t do that. He is a fantastic man! But listen and learn what you might get from the person he is, and the knowledge he may have, and then think for yourself! He’s not a guru to be followed. He is a man that has qualities to learn from.

Fellas I have to agree with both of you but one thing is say is governments are made up of many men and women...he should be one of the men in charge. I honestly believe he should be top dog but that's just my opinion only for the fact that he's curious and offers the best advice he can and takes time to answer honestly unlike most men out there to prove their point just spitting vernacular on the fly.

I’m curious to know where you part ways with Peterson on issues?
I admire him that much more for the struggles that he's been through more recently. His message has never wavered, shows he's human and authentic, and that he stands behind what he says.
It takes a huge amount of courage even to listen to him and to let him learn you totging freely from every political obstacle. You feel stripped to the bones by his speech. You can not hide from it. That is why some people hate him. They do it because his words resonates with what they concealed even from themselves.
The ego must die. Not who you really are, a human, your body. I like your comment. People are scared to DEATH by TRURH
There is so much to learn from this guy and the more I know about it the more I respect him, he's an example of kind yet strong human and that's rare, very rare
When I learned about him not doing well mentally it totally broke me.
He's the man who helped me go through my toughest time and helped me stand up again. It's really heartbreaking when you see someone so important in agony.
You'll watch an entire Netflix show even when the first episodes are slow and boring just because someone told you "it gets better." *But what if you looked at your goals like that and watched your life get better instead?*

Thank you Jordan Peterson for sacrificing so much to help others. I can't describe the impact you have had on my life since I first saw you on the Joe Rogan podcast. I would probably be dead or in prison but instead I have made substantial gains in every area of my life.
I've been a fan of many many intellectuals alive and deceased and Jordan has had the biggest effect on me. Empathy is Jordan's Ace.
Read "Antidote to chaos", now finishing Beyond Order. JP really is so articulate, objective in his approach of delivering solutions and knowledge through factual data and his own experiences, it really helped me look at things the right way. His knowledge is really helpful and regardless of what (some) people say about him being all the bad things, he really is offering solutions. And to really help you have to accept the truth. And this the part where a lot of people are too weak to look at, to accept that and turn a blind ear to that and to protect the fragile beliefs that they live with to protect their own vainity and inadequacies, they rebel. They misdirect. They try to put him down. Fortunately I was not one of them. This guy has taught me alot and continues to. Really wish him well.
His work changed and is still changing my life. He taught me how to think for myself, how valuable and life changing telling truth is and most importantly he taught me there is still hope. Just bought a ticket to see him in Poland this summer. Thank you Jordan for everything you've done for innumerable people of all ages, sexes and circumstances. You let us breathe again. Thank you.

The most inspiring and inspirational person on planet earth today! He will never truly know how much good he is doing. He never stops trying to help us save our own life.
He hates conflict but has all of this conflict. "So why do I have it all the time?" Every time he stands up, he is being the example he speaks of. It *is* at times overwhelming and almost completely unbearable... and yet, he continues. THIS is one reason I admire and love him (and Tammy, family) so much. He *is* walking his talking.
Have listened to countless 100's hours; I am a fan forever.

Love this man, his life is a God send. Though the suffering he has experienced was not from God, in his humility Jordan has embraced a love that overcomes. A love in Christ that never ceases.
Whenever you choose to stand for truth it will be a fight. I have listened to a good bit of Jordan’s lectures and I have only found truth and how to be a better man. In my humble opinion, those who vilify him are blinded! He’s honest, vulnerable, and humble which is so refreshing to see in a modern man!
Honestly, I’ve been watching and following the man for years, he’s truly an individual who does his absolute best for society even while it continually tries to beat him down. He has lifelong respect from me and has taught me many many things.
