2007 THUNDER TIGER EB4 S3 4WD NITRO BUGGY PRO28BK

Introduced by Thunder Tiger in 2007, the 4WD EB4 S3 Buggy - TTR 6231-F102 - came factory assembled RTR, with a pre-painted Blue Bodyshell, a Pro 28BX-R Pull-Start Engine and 2.4Ghz Radio System pre-installed.
The 4WD TT model is shaft driven, on an alloy plate chassis, with 3 x gear type differentials, coil spring over oil filled dampers, anti roll bars, CVD universal joint drive-shafts + prop-shafts and a full set of ball bearings.

If you look at the dirty tank at the end of the video you can see how the dirt has stuck in a uniform pattern around the tank in every direction. This leads me to believe the tank gasket foam has failed completely. I wonder if I can save this tank. Maybe with two small flat blades I can pry the tank apart and get to the foam to replace the bad piece. Thoughts?

Nobody wants a pool of fuel outside the tank. That fuels not cheap!

At $2 a tank for fuel here in OZ you really don’t want to see it leaking everywhere. Truth is I don’t buy fuel every year. I buy so many vintage nitro cars I have quite the collection of vintage fuel it might take me a while to burn through it all. Problem is that it’s old and high in oil. It might not always be the best on plugs and it’s really hard to tune because you have to lean it to make it work
