You'd think by now Kyosho would get with modern times and ditch those damn phillips head screws. They make maintenance way more tedious than it needs to be.
They are more likely to be JIS screws, which are relatively easily stripped by Phillips Head screwdrivers. A JIS screwdriver works fine on JIS screws. A Phillips Head screwdriver doesn't fit correctly in a JIS screw head, and risks stripping the screw head.
@@mini-z_me I thought the same and use my JIS drivers on them for most of my kyosho builds. Most JIS screws have a little dimple in the head of the screw to identify it, but the kyosho screws do not have them like every other JIS screw I’ve come across. It also didn’t seem to matter if I used the JIS drivers or Phillips drivers on them, I wasn’t able to get a bite on them very well at all, haven’t stripped any heads yet but have come close. Hex is definitely the way to go here.
Not one to usually order older stuff, but Amazon hiked up the price on the mp10 to $685 this evening, I was like oh heck no. So wound up getting the mp9 nitro for $499. I’m sure I’ll be happy with it.
Wonder if you will notice some improvements. Maybe if you drive one after the other. Probably better diffs, ball bearings and pipe. I am looking forward to your running experience with the mp10. I think for bashing I stay with the Neo.
Would love to have a nitro but I haven't tuned a nitro since the mid-80s and I think it was a offna Pirate. I don't think these old eyes can mess with those small Jets and needles anymore
Hi m8, i must say your videos are great! I have a question, i have plans to change the reciver battery, witch reciver packs fit, or what do you recommend? Keep up the great work with this videos i like em so much, i have a MP10 to now 😊 take care and have a great day.

@@mini-z_me true, having built a few Tamiya kits with a JIS screwdriver, still not a fan of them.

I would definitely buy a better hardware set with it.
You are the best-informed guy to do this comparison. Happy to see it!
thanks
Probably the best rtr buggy out there. But I will never but a kit that uses phillips hardware.
Love the nitro content! You should really try a racing kit next…
Great review! Love the Kyosho nitros
Awesome I'm a proud owner of the mp10. I also have a mp9 tki4 V2 and a inferno neo St 3.0

For priming i prefer using a syringe (without the needle!)

great video got me wanting the new mp 10... love my mp 9...

Nice video I was wondering what the difference between the MP nine and MP 10 were
I have the Mp9 RTR, and I am transforming it into a racing kit.
nice, I'd recommend the kit chassis and front shock tower
Going to retire my mp9 tki3 when these become available in the UK
Where does the inferno neo 3.0 fit in? I bought one used to get back into the hobby for now. I assume all parts on these don't fit the 3.0?
The NEO 3.0 is the same as the Kyosho MP7.5, which is like 20 years older than this car. Nothing is the same.
what glow plug comes in kit? what replacement do you recomend
So cool! Any chance you will clubrace this one and report back?
as soon as there is a track closer than 4 hours away... 😩

Another solid option for the nitrogang
I like to take the line of the pipe and blow on it works every time
No rear mud/rock guards on the 10 mate?
Can the shell interchange to both?
Great job 👍
Wow i had to lean my hsn just over 1 turn 3/4turn on lsn
❤❤❤❤
Can you please enter a race with it. Whee did you buy it and how much
I bought it at Amain, link in the description
❤❤❤
Is the body orange or red MP10?
Kyosho calls it red, but it's more of a reddish-orange to me.
It looks like the MP10 is a cheaper version ???
of what?
@@RazorRCMP9
I got a brand new protek nitro starter box and protek 4s lipo if anybody wants it..used very little..converted my nitro to brushless
