The video was so great. I couldnt stop watching you driving around on the field. Nitro just puts a smile on my face, eventhough its a bit outdated. The fun remains the same and thats what counts. 😀
I just broke mine in fully finally. I have full break-in vids posted. 7 part Series. This buggy runs very well. I have her super rich still and she still hauls quick at 1/4 throttle. Amazing!
I run both kind and yes for a buggy you don't need speed you need control on the track you could look into a different nitro fuel vp 30% might give you more power also a dynamite pipe 053 maybe if you can find a use novarossi or reds pipe better heavier diff fluid well I'm sure you know that but in my heart nitro is best its just more satisfying great video 👍👍
I grabbed one from Horizon the day it went on sale. It delivered the next day. I finally got it broke in this week. I can almost smell that sweet nitro smell watching your video. My first nitro. People dogging it as an old platform... but for $299 it got me to buy my first nitro. There needs to be more entry points like this for people to be able to afford to get into it. I think this one is going to be a LOT of fun. I just started with a Slash VXL 2WD last August... I get the racer guys... but man I was NEVER buying a $600 kit without electronics and motor etc... how many racers have $1500+ into a single car. That was NEVER going to happen... but now that I have this... who knows. I've been looking at kits differently now.
Ran thru 4 tanks today at our nearest track... home made track in a local park... bashing, friendly racing etc...
IT WAS A BLAST!
I only ran 4 tanks because that killed of my quart of nitro. My 2 buddies with me, we ran thru 19 LIPO packs on our electric Slashes as well...
It was such a NICE day for a February day here!!!

Great video. I bought one about 4 months ago. I swapped the shock springs out for Arrma Typhon springs. They make the car sit better. Mine is just for show.

Great video of a great nitro. Love to see you are running nitros. I hope that nitros will have a comeback 🙂 nitros are a great change of pace from all the electrics. And they are not as hard to use as many believe. If the interest is there for nitros, I believe anyone can learn how they work. They are different and more complicated but they are not that hard once learned how it works 👍

Love the sound of nitro ..I do miss ot..since I went to electric I never looked back...the break in and the content tuning and content tuning depends day to day and depends on weather ...it was just to much work sometimes .great video as always maybe one day I will get another one...I want to get a monster gt ..loved that truck that was my favorite.

That's good speed, i had an MP9 and you want quick shorts burst in small areas. I do kinda miss Nitro, but I'm not going back unless a company makes a modern foolproof starting system lol. I owned bump boxes etc. they are just a pain in the ass sometimes.

Great video, love the edit. Ordered mine last week, very excited. We have such a bad experience with the Revo 3.3 so I hope this will be better. Any extra tips during the break in?
Just take your time and do it right. It may help to have something to do while you break it in and watch it

Never had a nitro, just too loud my whole block has dogs. My neighbors would eat me alive
I bought it for that exact reason... it's LOUD. Next door neighbors put in a pool last year... I literally listened to screaming kids ALL. DAY. This year, I get my revenge. I'm putting an RC track in my backyard. JUST on the other side of the fence they put up around their pool. I'm hoping I can get it to throw some dirt into their pool. ;)

I've never driven Nitro, so I have so many questions. Lol. Cogging is probably not and issue? And do they use pinion gears?
Are speed upgrades easy?

Can you put a two speed transmission in that car?

I started with 2WD Slash VXL last August. The weight, being so low to the ground...the accleration, the handling... make my Slash feel like a toy in comparison. No reverse is going to take some getting used to.
