looks a lot like my old duratrax Axis. when i separated with one of my ex girlfriends, she emptied out our storage unit which was filled with all my Rc cars, trucks, my trains. she was an evil demon

Nice buggy ,cant go wrong with the Thunder Tiger engine ,the were always easy to tune
an a stable engine ,well for me anyways ,I had the MGT with the pro 28!
Quite a few years ago ,Thunder Tiger had a big sale on all of those engines at around
1/2 to a 1/3 off ,practically gave them away ,they sold out quick an I missed out on
the deal! Awesome buggy though!..😎👍
Thats a thunder tiger eb4 s2 ,the pro version had diffrent style servo holder and the battery box was half the size of that one, I got loads of them and their variants, good buggies for bashing, that spare engine is a s28, similar to the s21 but more torque and a better top speed and them engines are bullett proof. They first sold around 1996-1998 with a silver chassis and 2wd with the hop up parts to convert to 4wd and the chassis was slightly different shape... the thunder tiger mirage was the first generation of that style buggy blue chassis blue head on engine and just after the eb4 replaced the mirage buggies completely , there was eb4 s1 silver chassis , eb4 s2 red chassis and eb4 s2 pro version, then the later eb4 s2.5 pro and the eb4 s2.5 pro version 2 that had the bigger s28 engine instead of the s21 engine and the earlier buggies had the s21 sport engine that had a different style head, the variations were the various eb4 rally game cars in 2wd silver chassis and the later 4wd ones red chassis. I got every variant and the later eb4 s3 race buggy and eb4 s3 rally car and there was a pro edition s3 racing buggies with the light weight chassis and then the nitro er1 s28 race cars ,then there's the electric range EB4 G3 buggy ,ER4 G3 wec mini clubman, ST4 G3 Truggy, MT4 G3 Truck which was one of the best basher/stunt trucks ever made at the time,.then there's the g4 range electric then the last cars which was the bushmasrer range which was 2 buggies in 4s and 6s lipo version and the nearly ready to run version where you supplied your own radio gear and then thunder tiger stopped the rc cars and moved in to rescue drones and rc submarines , they still partners with team associated usa

I just done a full clean and refresh of my 12yr old Hoboa .28 nitro cage buggy and turnigy 1/16th .07 2 speed nitro both are back and loving it love to get the old buggies bashing again.
I use to run thunder tigers pro kit of the EB4 and one of there pro drivers (Richard Sexton) use to send me Experimental chassis for it the buggy I had had the tube chassis going down the middle. It didn’t have normal chassis braces.
I always liked the thunder tiger tomahawk st. The eb4 is a classic design, runs great too. Really easy to start
I would expect thunder tiger come out something bizarre like they always do.
I own a Thunder Tiger EB4 S3-28 with ONLY 8 minutes Run Time from brand new..

Ha ha coincidence Ive just bought a Thunder Tiger ST1 only yesterday as my second Nitro cant wait for it to arrive Ive seen a video of it running to and the previous owner has really taken good care of it, theres no rust on any of the suspension componants its just a really good clean example for quite an old Truggy. fortunately theres still a lot of spares about if needed. im not to sure about the rotostart on it as ive only just learned to operate a pull start without cutting my hand to ribbons😂

A bit of cardboard in the bottom of the receiver box might help .
I used to have one, bought it second hand in bits years ago, should have the pro .28.
