Run vespenato if you don't want to brick on full armored, you can simply rank up with any spent up rank 4 and set full armored to rank up into lancer on the opponent's turn since vespe only locks itself out of being used for xyz only for one turn
A bit late to this. But as I was looking through some cards today. I had this exact same thought. Glad that you put this idea out there. I think the three card addition to the deck does take it up a notch!
Add Traptrix Vesiculo, she is helpful if you go 2nd and somehow you have the opportunity to summon Armored Engine. Send the trap to GY with Vesiculo to get big ATK armor.
The engine is also really good in Utopia and Time Thief because you can put the Rank 5 on Utopic Sage and in Time Thief it makes the new Trap they got from the Megatins finally useful because it summons itself as a Trap + a Time Thief from deck so you can make a Redoer on your opponent turn with the Armor Xyz Trap.
