What traptrix really needs is only 2, maybe 3 more other cards to be more competitive. 1 more main deck traptrix monster that is a tuner that also does something about normal traps, a level 8 synchro traptrix that has a quick effect monster/(spell specifically) negate that also has another neat interaction with trap cards and finally one more traptrix spell or traptrix trap hole that does things based on the number of trap holes or traptrix monster on field or gy.
As a traptrix enjoyer I like to say that even tho we aren’t the best rogue deck if we go down it’s always kicking and screaming. We’lol never go quietly and even if the opponent wins after all they’ve gone through did they really win? Glorious
As a traptrix enjoyer too it is true as long we get the right starting cards or battled long enough to get an annoying board to clear

Can't wait to arachnocampa holeutea combo into pinguicula while cularia is up. Gonna annoy the shit out of tier 0 players. Set Delusion Trap Hole [name changed to something else but I prefer their prior names] and just bounce out a ton of compulsory with every summon. Lol.

Man I love Traptrix, but depending on what traps they can draw into, they can become so annoying to deal with lmao
Same! I love them so much, but holy hell are they frustrating to duel against sometimes.
And if you want to be super cancerous, you can splash in kaijus to slap on any monster the opponent does manage to summon.
It's basically turns into dpe turbo for me, can't really climb to d1 without cheesy strat.

I swear they annoy me more than most control decks (besides floodgate turbo which they technically can also do...). Im not sure why. Compule plus floodgate every turn makes me cry.
It is cool that you allowed him to win. I respect that you didn't scoop right away when you realized he had game.

Trap trix is how trap decks should work.
They dont focuse on stun, they use traps to disrupt to out grind the oppenent.
So the game actually becomes a back and forth
yeah put it in the list of the rest of the "very fair and engaging decks" like swordsoul, Branded, Salamangreat, PK, etc. Decks that simply play the game and simply do what they do really well to win.

1:05 not to uhm actually you, but Sera can be sent off of evenly since it effects the player, so Sera would be considered banished by the player and not by trap effect
Traptrix was a great punching bag for crusadia in the no spell event. One red reboot and its over for them

@@TimothyGod That depend on the situation would you prefer having several negations cards in hand to deny your opponent 1 or 2 turns of play or have enough cards to over extend the combo to maybe have enough for lethal .
Coder would have won if he had an actual exosister hand instead of just hand traps and negates.
But what can you do luck and rng didn't favor our man here .
Hand Traps are just a real "damned if you do, damned if you don't" for those of us with bad luck myself.
Run none and you can't stop your opponent from popping off if they go turn 1.
Run a few and you'll never draw them.
Run a lot however and you'll brick with them. Delaying your opponnent for a turn or two at best.
And even if you do have them, opponents always seem to have the Crossout or Called By they need.
I've been saying this forever. The best decks will always be "How many hand traps can you shove up your deck's ass and still have it function."
Had a duel where I got Maxx C'd but I Called by it. But then he stopped my next play with Ash. Then I got Nib'd. Then Ghost Belled. And I went "Ok fine pass. But you got nothing."
Next turn he had one card combo. I play Maxx C. And then he too had Called By and through seething teeth I just went "ALRIGHT FINE YOU'RE JUST BETTER I GUESS DAMN :( "

One of my favorite tech involves traptrix! Parallel xceed to make raflessia. Thej I put trap hole that negates hand and GY effects! Sometimes a couple others. I use it in sunavalon! Its so fun :)
Floodgate trap has been ruining people life in duel links since it got release, especially in 2018 when synchro was added.

Just did a little research on traptrix before buying the structure irl- this was the best duel, in terms of grind game- ive ever seen. Absolute fucking Chad on the traptrix
That's what traptrix do, prevents your opponents from getting an upper hand or even being able to complete your strategy

Its funny that Traptrix will likely become more relevant. Especially in the TCG/OCG since Kashtira is an easy target for floodgate traphole and backrow decks. I've actually slotted in Ghost Reaper & Winter Cherries to deal with the influx of only 1 deck being used. Its fun watching Spright decks auto surrender when all their Elfs get banished XD

i play traptrix eldlich, most of the time my opponent just refused to play with me
He could have Martha, if he trap holed then he had 2 extra defenders meaning it wouldn't have been letal. If he didn't he could have gone into Mikailis to clear Utopia or the safer bet which was Gibrine in defense. He had no way to clear a 2800 def unless he link climbed into accescode. I think his biggest mistake was being greedy and starting with Kaspitell, I would have gone into Mikailis, worst case Mikailis fell in a hole but at least in response you could banish it so he couldn't reborn it later on, best case scenario you had ritornia so you can snipe one set trap the next turn and put him on a clock, even doing an earlier Zeus. Anyway it was a tough mach, you need to have experience with the deck to understand the safer plays.
I battle that guy at the acceleration 2024 event, he using trickstar, and he's burn me with trickstar deck, I'm using dark magician back then, and my ranking deck is exosister deck now.

I think it depends. Not sure on what, but Konami added runicks before adding grinder golem. Granted, it's a problematic card that would enable consistent gem-knight ftk, but master duel is also a best of 1 with tons of shit like that, and it's also over a decade old, whereas runick is from... 1 or 2 years ago?

Hi Coder. ik you don't do the ruling question vids a lot anymore, but I need clarification on a ruling. So, I was at locals this weekend, and I used cynet mining, discarding Salamangreat Spinny, searching for Gazelle. Am I allowed to activate Gazelle? I was told I wasn't by the judge there, but he said it would for discarding a Gazelle, adding a Gazelle, then summoning a Gazelle. I couldn't understand why I couldn't summon Gazelle off sending Spinng from Mining. Can you help me?
You can I do it in MD. You can't summon Gazelle off of Gazelle, but sending a Spinny with Mining definitely works to be able to summon the Gazelle you're searching

Sir, with labrynth trap this deck pop hard. You can't respond to the activation of traps and reset traps every turn and get a pop and a search when you activate the new traphole that destroy a monster with 2k or more.

Gozen yes, rivalry no since the xyz are warriors and the effect sisters are spellcasters. They're all light though.
Rivalry is big no because Traptrix monsters are Plant and Insect. Gozen, maybe, because all monsters are EARTH. But you cannot access good game closers like Utopia or Accesscode.

Can't wait till the structure hits MD it'll be a dam good deck then right now it's fun but lacking in to many areas like damage and combo potential but the structure fixes that obviously its not 0(tearlement) but it's impossible for every deck to be that good but I'll fight for it to be considered tier 2 maybe even the lowest of tier 1 ...... also zues is one of the many reasons why I wish their wasn't so many generic cards that are to good and easily splashed into everything NEED MORE RESTRICTIONS on cards
Because generic cards make already strong decks even more unstoppable regardless of how much it helps lower decks

I have a friend who played mainly Traptrick and madolche and he made me HATE traptrick, its so annoying especially since it seems like he wins the coin toss Every. single. time. he's playing the deck, like the concept is cool dont get me wrong, but i cant help but groan whenever io realize im facing the deck.
Now I don't feel bad for dismantling all the exosister cards I got while going for the spright cards.
That's traptrix for you. It's a very annoying deck, but you can outplay it, since you mostly know what the backrow is.

@@btjacked Tf you mean? There's no free flow in D/D/D. You're still following a pre-baked combo depending on what you open. If anything, D/D/D being unable to adapt on the fly while ending on a good board is their biggest weakness.
