What speeds have you gotten out of this F011 ? I am interested in buying a blank hull and doing a custom build. Is this a good choice? I run a Speed Run Buggy Rc Car 90-100mph and want to try something new.

I like how we can clearly see the screw holes for mounting do not line up. Got to love chinese manufacturing. 3mm off is still an acceptable tolerance. 😂🤦♂️
Speedy Fpv I don't understand you you can see where the holes where made for the m3 screw and then you only have to put in the mount screws into the hull you can see them where they came out a little bit 😉

@@a-ztube Thank you. I think it'll be ok that they're a little bit bigger because I'm putting them on a Volantex Sr80 pro which is bigger than the fto11. I was told that it was a must do upgrade to put the fto11 turn fins on it. Well I'm having a hard time finding the stock plastic fto11 ones, so I figured I would find some metal ones that are close...

Hmm it's not really more expensive to drive stock on 4s and with the esc on 5s and Even the Metall parts you're definitely under many boats that can compare to that and also the spare parts for the Feilun are not that expensive,but you're right if it's be worth upgrading. I like doing this stuff to all my things doesn't matter what if it's RC my car my bike but if you use it and like it I think it's always worth because it's unique 😉👍🏽
buying a better boat for that money is not really possible for that compared you have to spend more. Or you buy something like proboat and that stuff and than have a really better and bigger boat but paying something like 300-500$.

@@a-ztube yeah it isn't that difficult to spend money after and you got some unique thing! Everyone can buy a 1000$ boat, but building your own stuff is one of a kind! I got my eye's on this boat for several times and maybe in the summer it will be mine! Hope ya get it in the water asap if the days getting warmer? Waiting for it! Happy holidays
@@tonil6604 I always think of Nerf. Most people just get the new ones that are better like the Regulator with select fire, but I just buy kits online and upgrade my blaster to match up with the rest. There is actually a select fire kit for the Stryfe and I change the motor to Neo Rhino for better performance and the stock 180 motor burns out from LiPo or 3 IMR so it's a pretty weak motor.

To be honest I didn't had my eyes on the Feilun FT011 before but my Buddy had one and gave me one as birthday present. But even out of the box with 4s for that money it's perfect really can't beat that price only slower and smaller boats. So yes if you can get one really it's really good.
