It does ride with the bow a little low, a few turns out on the screws on the trimtabs should fix that. The looked like they were in all the way.

We know you like the speed ( don't we all), but could I ask you show a short segment showing speed controller proportionality ? Sometimes we have to negotiate around others boats etc. This looks like it has two speeds. Stopped and flat out !

I have this boat, you can run a 4s 2200 pack in it easily, Just have to take off the rear left lockdown on the inside cover. Use some boat tape to cover the hole . Its well worth it
I interested in this boat but there is no way I would buy it if you can't make it faster very very slow

Looks carbonnific, that's french for looking 👍 good. Yesterday's bo-at ( Dr. Doofensmirtz ) was from my perspective maybe a tad faster or just looked it. But definitely lost me with a drone controller 😕. Boat weekend was sunny & warm. Bring on the next contender. Maybe after boat week is over you can do top 3ish contenders for 23-24. ❓️❓️. ⚓️⚓️👍💛🧡💚👍😕❓️👍⚓️⚓️.
Running a tad to wet that slows it down , put a ruler along the back of the hull and see if the trim tabs need moving up say 1mm out of the water, adjust 1mm at a time and do a quick test run, when there is daylight under the ruler that tells you you are pushing water down and the back of the boat up , its like pulling the hand brake up on a car. The other tell tail is white water = drag .
We had our air on the other day and now we have the heat on here in Missouri. I believe boat needed it's trim tabs adjusted to get the nose more out of the water.

Hey' No it's running very wet and with the bow down so it needs to be aired out by moving the trim tabs up some that will let the boat run looser and that will let it gain more speed like that.

Just ordered one of these. I'm in the UK and it was cheaper from Aliexpress. I got the larger battery, including delivery, it came in under £140. ($180) Had rc cars & trucks for years, this is my first boat!
Didn't quite plane out for peak speed it looked like to me .
The way water was splashing from the front the nose is to much in the water. A boat is fastest with as little as possible in the water, so trim the CG, trim tabs and prop angle so must of the hull it out the water and stable.
Still throws a good tail !! Looks good . nice Video.
$200 is a pretty good deal for a speedy boat already RTR!

Love boat week. I bought 3 of the black and white UDI arrow boats. Gave one to my son. Great boats for the money. It seems like the other version black and white is faster. What do you guys think. Thanks for the fun.
There the same speed out of the box between this one and the arrow, This one you can run a 4s 2200 lipo in it . Has a 120 amp esc. Arrow has a 60 amp. I have both boats .
Now I have to get a boat this week from watching all these great options you guys have been showing… lights a fire 🔥 under your butt to get out and rip it with a new boat… especially since a live on the Gulf of Mexico 😳

I just bought this and so far I love it and it’s a great performing boat great speed amazing power, and turns on the dime, I bought the boat off of Amazon and it came with already dialed for the steering.
You should do another video but use 4s this time goes so much faster

HI GUYS. THE SPEC SHEAT SAYS THAT IT CAN RUN ON 4S. THE BOW OF THE BOAT IS IN THE WATER , TRY AND STOP THE BOW FROM TOUCHING THE WATER OR SPLASHING THE WATER.
the reason why its slower to turn on one side is because the battery position. it will always turn on a dime on the battery side.

the rudder is offset on boats like these. being that it is not directly lined up with the center of thrust, the rudder is less effective in one direction.

Do you ever adjust the tabs on the back? Sometimes out of the box they are too much and it pushes the nose down. I saw one channel they adjusted the arrow tabs and got 7mph more.
I bought udi005 this week. In the last version, they made the internal components and water pipe the same as this boat. The exterior designs are different and the rear components are plastic in the udi005. The updates have been nice.
Where did you buy?
Mine has some foam in the tip inside. Should I take it out or leave it? I don’t know if it’s the cushion for the ECU or not.
I run mine 4s. If you buy this boat. Its almost a have too. Glue foam into your clear lid as it comes off almost every time it rolls or submerges. Otherwise Awesome boat.

Hey i ordered that boat After this and a few other Videos and i Tool it for a Spin yesterday dan After 3 min itbwasnt going fast anymore so i did get it back to me and it was Almosen complrtly fillrd up with water. Any tip or expirience what could cause that?
True at my one too when it's crashing at 4s by 63kmh. I tape the hatch with boat tape or electric tape. Then it's save.
On 3s by 47kmh is the hatch stabe enough.
Did you have any concerns from the added weight of the 4S? I have this boat and the 4S battery adds a ton of weight to one side of the boat.
@@ace.i6 check everything, maybe cooling line or sealing or hatch wrong locked or something else. Release the cooling line from the rudder and blow air in it with your mouth and hold the water outtake closed with a finger to check for leaks there. Hull you can check in the bathroom if it's sealed good.

Will this work on salt water?
Yes! You just need to rinse it off and out pretty well after running in salt water. My favorite way to do this is just to save about 30 seconds worth of battery, run it through a body of fresh water before taking it home. Works really well! 👍😎💯⚓️
This boat is awesome,but its been out for over a year..i pretty told everyone on youtube to review it,but no one listened...
This boat's a blast! I bought mine recently and am running in saltwater. It handles it fine. Leaks water through the stuffing tube though.. Maybe thicker grease will help 😁 But it's fast enough even on 3S and certainly big! Your reviews always make my day.
Hopefully you rinse it off with freshwater afterwards. Because saltwater = bad.
I'm not sure how the water cooling will tolerate saltwater.
Very corrosive and leaves residue. Maybe flush out the system with fresh water too.
Maybe I'm a nervous Nelly and it's made to run in saltwater. It's just that things that are waterproof usually have a small print warning that salt water is bad, even running thru snow that has been "salted" is bad.
@@Boogie_the_cat I know, i rinse it off most of the time and definitely flush the cooling system with fresh water immediately. Salt is definitely bad and will reduce the life of the boat but with proper maintenance that is not much of a problem.
