Drops on Twitch might increase your discoverability but usually won't increase your concurrent viewer count. Most of people just tune in for the stream in the background and mute the sound, get the drop and leave, there is rather small chance they will stay for the future unfortunately.
Ads, ads, ads, ads, ads, ads, all offensively intrusive and unpleasant and slapped straight down into your face. Or gamble, gamble, gamble, gamble, gamble, gamble. None of these platforms are designed to benefit their viewers, you’re just marks to them.
soo i can multistream on youtube and kick same time ? if after time ill be more and more popular, one of them won't expel me for making money on a different competitor/livestream site ? i don't care that much about Twitch this days
So what your saying is that's a possibility? Do you think as your popularity grows on both platforms that the chances of both platforms cancelling you is higher than lower or most likely lower ?@@NefasQS
Thank you your insights on this! I learnt a lot!

I wonder when we get a youtube alternative?
Maybe something WITH dislikes buttons?... just maybe?........
its too expensive to run unless you are google and have billions to burn
I stopped watching twitch because of the ads
adblock ftw
What my friends like to do is just to watch a you tube on a subject that interests us. We don't want to participate, we just need information.
Interesting

Okay, so which basket should I put my eggs into?
Ideally all of them. If you had to pick between Twitch or multiple platforms though, do multiple platforms obviously.
Didnt twicth change their revenue split recently?
I’m moving to kick leaving twitch behind
