Hi new subbie here, thank you for sharing your loofa soap technique. I bet your soap is wonderful on the skin. I've yet to try growing loofa. Perhaps next year! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for your comment and for subscribing. Our Loofah "crop" for this year is just exploding. We ate some small "fruit" for supper last night -cooked as we would for zucchini. Hurricane Milton knocked several large "fruit" off of the vine so we will dry them out and hope that they can be used as sponges in a few months.
Thanks for your comment. We are enjoying the soap and are finding new ways to use the Loofah. Some of the "sponges" from last year were dark so we will use them for pot scrubbers rather than putting them in the soap, but at least they will not go to waste!

I like the idea of making soap out of loofah
