@@vishnupriyakodoth8884 It's shit. They show neutral images, but the narration on top of it makes it seem like something bad is going on when nothing bad is actually going on. It's so ridiculous. Ulrich is only serving American Imperialism & Colonialism and is probably getting paid by the CIA to spread his disinformation about the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
I am ashamed to share a nationality with this man. His story is told through a biased and false narrative. The purpose of his story is to serve American Imperialism & Colonialism. The American Regime wants to colonise all of Asia. South Korea is but a colony/satellite state of the US. The anti-colonialists say: "USA OUT OF KOREA" and "Stop provoking the Democratic People's Republic of Korea with countless military exercises pretending to carry out a full-on invasion of a democratic nation just because they aren't controlled by the white house".
I'm glad is ISN'T, because his story is nothing but disinformation serving the American Imperial & Colonial Agenda (in other words, it's anti-DPRK propaganda). It's called the Democratic People's Republic of Korea for a reason. Because it's Democratic. The US hates other democracies because the people can vote to not support American Imperialism. The US prefers dictators who oppress the people and send money to the US, like in South Korea where the elections are constantly rigged to favour a pro-USA leader.

We need this man silenced before he convinces the rest of the world that it's ok for America to invade the democratic people and enslave them under American Imperialism! Malcom X once said: "If you're not careful, the [media] will have you hating the [Korean] people who are being oppressed [by America], and loving the [American] people who are doing the oppressing." Don't forget how America made up lies to invade Iraq. Wow. Mr Larsen is freaking amazing. I’m going to have to listen to this over again, it’s just so much information. I’m so intrigued by the whole North Korea topic. It’s like hearing about life on another planet. So freaking strange and sad.
The only sad thing about the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is that the United States of America is oppressing them with sanctions. The DPRK is ruled by the people, unlike South Korea which is ruled by the white house. And America is ruled by the rich who want to get richer by colonising and enslaving the whole world under what's called Imperialism. Everything you hear about "North Korea" is propaganda. They're target of propaganda because they said "No" to being enslaved under American Imperialism. America wants to colonise them so bad and get closer to the rest of Asia, which they also want to colonise so bad. American Imperialism already occupies the Phillippines, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea. They want the DPRK and they want China too. Everything you hear is propaganda to justify a full-on invasion of Asia. Be critical of what you hear and consider what the interests are of those who spread propaganda and misinformation.
I agree with you. People in North Korea live in Hell. They are starving and they can be put in a concentration camp without knowing why. I have seen so many documentaries and it started with Yeonmi Park who is a defector.

James was also so over the top and confident that I think it would be impossible to tell he was just being a conman/mole, because no one would expect a mole to act like that. Same with Ulrich and his unassuming personality. I'm left wondering what happened to the north korean deal brokers, maybe they were punished for this? They did a terrible job of verifying James after all. Did they have much choice in assuming their roles? One of the most perplexing things about The Mole documentary is how Ulrich Larsen could enter the Danish KFA and rise to the position of KFA delegate for the Scandinavian countries without anyone doubting his sincerity and commitment even though he is an anti communist who hates the DPRK regime and supports sanctions. I cannot imagine spending ten years presenting a false front that is totally at variance with my true self without anyone becoming suspicious. Either Ulrich Larsen is a master of dissimulation or else the Danish KFA and Alejandro Cao de Benós lack the vigilance one would expect for an organization connected to North Korea. There is an interesting article published by Quora titled "Hypothetical Spying Scenarios: What are good ways to identify a mole in an organization who is feeding sensitive information to the competition?" that deals with this scenario.

Inchon, Korea 1950. I was the best cook Uncle Sam ever saw, slinging hash for the Fighting 103rd. As we marched north, our supply lines were getting thin. One day a couple of GIs found a crate, inside were six hundred pounds of prime Texas steer. At least it once was prime. The Use date was three weeks past, but I was arrogant, I was brash, I thought if I used just the right spices, cooked it long enough...I went too far. I over seasoned it. Men were keeling over all around me. I can still hear the retching, the screaming. I sent sixteen of my own men to the latrines that night. They were just boys. Bobby Colby all that kid wanted to do was go home. Well he went home alright, with a crater in his colon the size of a cutlet. Had to sit him on a cork the eighteen-hour flight home! Anyway....we delivered the bomb and I'll never touch a spatula again!!
Really very many thanks for the interview, and to Ulrich. I very much appreciate the host's doing through research, asking humanly insightful questions, and adding a structure to it that helps audiences make sense of this big 'adventure'. While i don't want to criticize other interviewers, it was greatly relieving that the host delved i to the depth, and very humanly relevant questions, rather than do a surperficial interview with a spectacle oriented focus, leaving an empty feeling and rendition of the great work. Many many thanks. This was like an oasis of depth and good care, in a desert otherwise too full of light spectacle ;)
Might i also add, mr James has balls like king kong!. He played the role really well and god only knows how he and ulrich didnt manage to shit themselves is beyond me.
It's insane to me that the North Koreans bought his story. A retired cook from Denmark, loves NK, happens to know a millionaire/billionaire/super rich organized crime guy well enough to bring him to NK to do all that the North Koreans only can dream about? And his name is "Mr. James" (as in James Bond?). If you know that it was a sting and think about it, it's absolutely wild.
I watched a film Under The Sun. A lot of things stuck out or seemed so UNreality like to me. However 3 things I just can’t let go. They pop in my head often. 1. Most of the time when you go somewhere with children that are Uber trained and ridiculously, unbelievably quiet, if they have the chance to be loud, the kids are on it. You don’t have to tell twice bc they so exited that they can be loud. Those children were so uncomfortable with the idea of being loud. WoW! 2. The changing of the parents’ jobs. Like WTF! Why? I’m so confused 3. About an hour in when Army dude talking to kids and the one child is falling asleep, the girl struggling through dance and unable to get steps right, & when she was so sad and crying at the end of the movie… I was so worried for that child and the rest of that family. It seems like that could be seen as disrespectful and I was concerned for their punishment. I greatly appreciate films showing the regular folks. Too often I think outsiders think the NoK’s are ACTUALLY happy and are somewhat aware of the outside world, like the Amish. They THINK they’re choosing to stay and THINK it’s worse in other countries. Most of them don’t even realize that they’re oppressed.
You know NKorea is always watching so this guys confessions will make it much tougher on the next person going there. The obvious question was already asked and WHY because everyone already knows how corrupt NKorea is just by the fact they let very few people leave unless your going to a work force.
After watching the two part doco on bbc iplayer, one of the things that stuck out to me in the first episode, was when Alejandro Cao de Benós was discussing with Ulrich about some of the 'products' that North Korea had made in the past for different factions and countries....one of them being methanphetamine for Nato......or did I mishear that? Has that even been investigated?

Sometimes it's the seemingly small things that make you wonder. Like the medal that gets mentioned right from the start. What I find so remarkable is not how the customs officer reacts, but that he recognises this medal immediately and knows what it means. Think of it, the Bundesverdienstkreuz / Order of Merit of the FRG is the highest order and tribute a german can receive, but I would bet most germans would neither recognise a Bundesverdienstkreuz, nor would they give a flying crap. And I would bet the same is true for the US and, let's say the Medal of Honour. And yet this guy knows immediately what this medal is and means. I grew up and lived in a socialist totalitarian state, I have learned to pay attention to little details like this and this particular detail strikes me as remarkable. I don't know if anyone else would see it the same way, especially the people who grew up in free and democratic countries, it just what cought my attention.
They lie about the ice fishing because they have no concept of the type of lifestyle that would allow for hobbies. They are so insulated from the rest of the world they don’t know other people do stuff like that for fun. They know enough to know it makes them look bad because their people are hungry and they know that we don’t have that problem. How sad is that? They don’t even know how to imitate a wealthy country.
Their interpretation of a wealthy country is a pantomime. It's like a poor low class girl who marries well into wealth but has no style or class, adorns herself with the trappings of wealth but only fools people like her.

I couldn’t finish this interview. The premise of who this guy is, sounds absolutely fascinating. But, the first 15min of it is nothing more than two guys talking about something that only they know about, that they’re already in the middle of. Is this just a snippet of a podcast?
They’re talking about the film that’s referenced in the title and that is the basis for the rest of the conversation, it’s context also becomes increasingly clear the longer you listen even if you haven’t seen the documentary. It’s certainly not something that only they know about as the documentary was released a couple of years ago.
Dude I completely agree. My problem is, the guy keeps asking questions and doesn’t even let Ulrich finish; he immediately cuts him off to tell us about what he saw and what his experience is. And then randomly it’s like he takes over his own show and just keeps talking about what he saw and what happened to him. He might as well just put a mirror across from himself. I’ve never been so frustrated trying to watch a podcast

if you are a visitor in NK is it illegal to give free food to the locals. I feel like if i visited and im not even worth shit but i could def pay for some food for some families while being in the country.
Why is the reason this documentary isn’t allowed in the US? Are we be purposely censored so that Americans won’t become aware of NK and the conditions of its people? If so, that’s sick. I am an American who is becoming passionate about this issue. Why is America so focused on helping Ukraine while allowing dictators to stay in power. And NK people are suffering. I’d rather we spend our money helping NK and getting rid of Kim family!!
America is so focused on Ukraine because Ukraine is the money laundering capital of the world. US politicians vote to send billions to Ukraine, a billion comes back to US politicians to line their pockets. Things don’t get better for the average Ukrainian so they keep sending (and receiving) more money. There is no intention to make things better for those people. That would ruin the money train. And don’t forget…..it’s your tax dollars they are using.

I have zero respect for a dude who spreads misinformation and American Imperial Propaganda in order to justify invading a democratic people who do not wish to be enslaved by American Imperialism.
I can actually see, the love around this man...he is so brave, but my feeling is, he doesn't think so, he just done what he believes is right. Why can't Jean Grey be real, imagine walking into north Korea with her powers, and it still wouldn't be as brave as Ulrich 💞🐨🇦🇺🦘 thank you for sharing this you to a good and brave man 🥲.
Wowowow what a story! 🇺🇸🙏🏻
So you weren't the best cook uncle Sam had ever seen lol
Frank Constanza!!!
Wow how did such cretin as you get allowed in the army at all? What an idiot.
Amazing......sorry your son turned out to be a putz.
This was like an oasis of depth and good care, in a desert otherwise too full of light spectacle ;)
thank you for the kind words
Might i also add, mr James has balls like king kong!. He played the role really well and god only knows how he and ulrich didnt manage to shit themselves is beyond me.
Where can I watch this documentary! Wow!
Where can I see the documentary.... I've looked everywhere
wonder why we can not find this documentary.
I found it within 10 seconds of a search...
I watched a film Under The Sun. A lot of things stuck out or seemed so UNreality like to me. However 3 things I just can’t let go. They pop in my head often.
1. Most of the time when you go somewhere with children that are Uber trained and ridiculously,
unbelievably quiet, if they have the chance to be loud, the kids are on it. You don’t have to tell
twice bc they so exited that they can be loud. Those children were so uncomfortable with the
idea of being loud. WoW!
2. The changing of the parents’ jobs. Like WTF! Why? I’m so confused
3. About an hour in when Army dude talking to kids and the one child is falling asleep, the girl
struggling through dance and unable to get steps right, & when she was so sad and crying at
the end of the movie… I was so worried for that child and the rest of that family. It seems like that
could be seen as disrespectful and I was concerned for their punishment.
They know that they are oppressed.
Hell of a story. I must watch this movie.
It’s a shame I can’t buy this. Would really love to watch it🤷♂️❤️

You know NKorea is always watching so this guys confessions will make it much tougher on the next person going there. The obvious question was already asked and WHY because everyone already knows how corrupt NKorea is just by the fact they let very few people leave unless your going to a work force.
I became aware of Alejandro Cai De Benos about 10 years ago, and I was shocked.
Has that even been investigated?
you heard that correct, i’ve heard that but as a conspiracy theory, guess it’s true
Great interview!
this title worked very well. i had to figure out why a chef would have to go undercover
This is great and all, but where I can watch this documentary? It doesn't seem to be available on any streaming services.
I think they keep moving the USA release dates. Are you in the States or elsewhere?
@@JordanHarbingerShow I'm in the states. I'm aware it has been available on BBC as well as Danish and Norwegian television for a while. Not sure about other European countries. I'd have to look into it for those.

I love Jordan’s show!!! He’s great- speaking after just watching Yeonmi Park episode. He’s so respectful, intelligent, and engaging!!
Woaa! I'm danish and had no clue of this guy!
Ulrich really ought to do a podcast with North Korean defector, Yeonmi Park. I think that would be some good listenings. Cheers from US, Cali.

What a quick thinker to hand him the car key!
I had a co-worker in China (another foreigner) who was a Dork like Alejandro.
Where can i watch the film?
Ive checked videos in TH-cam and i found one however its dubbed in german and it doesnt have the english translation
It’s not out in every country right now. I think you can find it on BitTorrent though
I watched it right here on youtube a while back but I can't remember how I found it.
God bless you and your video.. Thanks again for your courage to tell your truth..And to show how close Putin and Kim like brother..Both mental health issue.. Praise God revoke the Devil for ever amen ☮️🫂🌞
Such an important movie (hopefully).
@@ohioprotectyourkids3739 Yeah...looks like an interesting story, but lost interest.

D interviewr already knew what he wants gonna say and these are important people and logic people their point if to let audiences know what they are talking about.. They save their precious time..
Wow. Thank you for exposing North Korea. This story is absolutely incredible.
if you are a visitor in NK is it illegal to give free food to the locals. I feel like if i visited and im not even worth shit but i could def pay for some food for some families while being in the country.
When the Spanish guy broke out the bug finder I seriously thought he was screwed…
I’d rather we spend our money helping NK and getting rid of Kim family!!
becouse Ukraine is also attacked by another dictator. But I agree, NK regime is beyond imaginable evil and must be stopped
North Korea is the best Korea.
South Koreans are Japanese collaborators
Great question
Weapons manufacturing, selling and distribution is a very big business. 😉
I listened to this on apple but wanted to see it here as well lol
