    Another good video.Here in Indiana, the redear seem to like a trashy bed[last years leaves, sticks, etc],, rather than a clean one as the gills do. We call them big bull bluegills, cabovers[like a stub nose semi truck].lol

    I never see any other boats fishing. I can't imagine what you would catch if the fishing was actually good. It seems like you catch fish everywhere. Keep up the great videos!!

    One of the things I like best about your videos is the simplicity of the fishing. No fancy equipment like side sonar. With that in mind, would you consider making a video on jug fishing? Or baiting and running a trot line? THANK YOU for the videos. I know they take a lot more work than people realize.

    • @RichardGeneTheFishingMachine
      @RichardGeneTheFishingMachine  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you Dave I'm glad you enjoy my videos. I prefer to catch with reel and rod, I have done jug fishing in the past so it's a possiblity I'll get the itch to do it again and if I do I will film it!

    Yessir..... you havin' a ball with them. I used to go camping just past Town Creek on 227 and fish up town creek. Would catch a lot of Long Ears, and Shell Cracker as well as Blue Gills. And ever once in a while when the Good Lord would smile on me I would catch one of them old goggle eyed Warmouth up there.

    Those sunfish look like redbreasts to me. However, I'm not sure that taxonomists are completely convinced that the long ear and redbreasts are really two different species. They are pretty. In my personal opinion, that's the best tasting pan fish there is. They are a bit oilier and have a richer flavor than bluegill. God bless.
