I don't even think Aba is top 5 in Japan. But it goes to show how strong Japan is tho. Aba did so well this tournament.
Now that i think about it further he might not even be top 10. Which is so insane.

I've recently been excited to watch Abadango with his Meta Knight! Both of these players are amazing at there characters though. Just goes to show that these characters can work well in many different scenarios and adapt to them as well!

Imagine... This is a Meta Knight that does not use IDJs, forbidden resets, condor dives, dimensional slash ledge recovery and stall, and mach tornado landing airdrift and autocancel resets and yet he has still made it this far. If Aba were to add those to his repertoire...

@@DarkFox2071 hmm I'm pretty sure if I type a comment with a bunch of links it'll get auto deleted. But I will say that RoccoMK's channel has quite a bit of MK tech tutorials on it. You could also find them yourself just by searching the names of the tech on TH-cam if you wanted to.
@@user-lq6nc6kr1o I am a metaknight user and those tools have added to my gameplay quite a bit. It literally gives you more options... What's so bad about that? There was many scenarios when a condor dive could have gimped Wario's recovery and forbidden resets and IDJs literally extend combos even further that aren't possible with regular short hops or full hops... Why wouldn't Meta Knight users add that to their arsenal??

He does play him from time to time but not in bracket cause he thinks mew2 is bad, which is untrue but abadango has always been a tier whore. Which is ironic considering he plays MK lol. I guess he see something in the character that we don't.

Looking at MK's performance on this video, I understand why they are using the rufio combo for better frame data. You need to be precise with him. It's an hit-or-miss! MK is just a shell of his former self. Not to mention how bizarre some frame data are. Ranging from disjointed to inadequate.

I don’t think MK was the wrong choice, he was just a bit behind most of the set. And against wario you can’t afford to get a little behind (or even) with waft.

hat's fair, it just didn't seem to me like he was even/behind BECAUSE of the char. I think the meta is shaking up and he probably wanted to push his MK as far as he could, but maybe it would have been different with a better pick.
