It's pretty cool that both of the girls' slap on the wrist nerfs probably came into play here.
First Pyra gets killed after using side b offstage, in what might be the extra 3 frames of lag they added.
Then Mythra used an Fsmash that was very close to killing, which might have been just weak enough thanks to the Knockback nerf it was given.
The balancing team got a lot of flack for not making changes that are meaningful, but everything will matter at some point
What players don't realize is that Meta Knight does have potential against a lot of the top tiers, he's been recognized as an anti meta pick even back in Smash 4.
If he gets explored more he could do a lot more work, maybe akin to his Smash 4 run.

The game is well balanced, it’s just that you just can’t make EVERY character (especially with how unique ult’s cast is) truely 100% equal
